  • Actor Allusion: Norio Wakamoto once again lends his voice to a badass doomed mentor dying from radiation sickness...
  • The Other Darrin: In the English version, during episode 2, Gigalt's voice was provided by Michael McConnohie in a dream flashback of Hachi's. When he actually debuted in the ninth episode, Paul St. Peter took over and continued voicing the character for the remainder of the series.
    • The Space Defense Front chairman, only known as "White Cat", was first voiced by Michael Forest in episode 22 but was replaced by Steve Kramer for episodes 23-25. Forest was already voicing Christopher Clifford in that batch of episodes, so this was likely done in order to avert Acting for Two.
    • Tarōbō, the only surviving ninja cosplayer, was voiced in his debut by Peter Spellos, the voice of Hakim, in episode 6 but was voiced in his later appearance in episode 22 by Michael McConnohie. Also in episode 6, Chad was voiced by Michael Sorich but by Jeffrey Stackhouse in his later, more relevant appearances starting in episode 15.
    • The Control Section Director was voiced in his original and final appearances by Bob Papenbrook, but for episodes 15-18, Beau Billingslea filled in for him. His appearance in episode 21 was voiced by Steve Blum, already Cheng-Shin's voice.
    • Several of Hachimaki's fellow Technora employees were voiced throughout the series by several actors. Only Keith, the guy with his Eyes Always Shut, was consistently voiced by Tony Oliver across all his appearances. Baba-yan, the blonde-haired man with facial hair, had it the worst with FIVE different actors over the course of the series! Oliver voiced him in episode 2 alongside Keith, Dave Mallow took over in episode 3, then Dave Wittenberg did the voice in episode 11, Joe Cappelletti in episode 19, and finally Erik Davies in episode 26, the series finale. Helic almost had it just as bad with four voices himself. First Dave Mallow in episode 2, followed by Joe Cappelletti in episode 4, as well as the finale, Peter Doyle taking over in episode 12, and then Crispin Freeman in episode 19.
      • Tomord faired much better having only two different actors. He was voiced in the second episode only by Michael McConnohie but was replaced by Kim Strauss for the remainder of the show. Devon had three with Lex Lang doing the voice in episode 2, Tony Oliver in episodes 8 and 10, and Ezra Weisz in episode 19, which was his final speaking appearance.
