Go To

While at home reading one day, Blossom suddenly finds herself attacked by HIM who claims he came to collect on a deal he made with Bubbles and Buttercup who sold her soul for a dollar they needed to buy a bobsled. He takes Blossom to his home, the Dimension of Chaos. But suddenly finds out that having Blossom as his captive might be more then he bargained for when she starts organizing the realm.

Tropes

  • Berserk Button: When the opposing bobsled team make fun of Bubbles liking cute animals. This sets her off and she quickly attacks them.
  • Deal with the Devil: Bubbles and Buttercup sell Blossom's soul for the dollar they need to buy a bobsled.
  • Description Cut: Fed up with Blossom's antics, HIM decides to get rid of her. He says that he knows Bubbles and Buttercup will trade back the bobsled. Cut to Bubbles and Buttercup riding in their bobsled, declaring that they're never going to trade the bobsled for anything.
  • Forgot About His Powers: Bubbles and Buttercup's bobsled suddenly disappears during a jump due to a ripped contract, leaving them stuck in midair. Rather than fly away, they drop like stones and end up in body casts as a result.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: In the end, Bubbles and Buttercup are stuck in body casts and forced to listen to Blossom read her book on filing taxes.
  • Magically-Binding Contract: HIM collects Blossom's soul due to Bubbles and Buttercup signing a contract that would sell her sister's soul for one dollar. Once the contract is ripped in half, Blossom's soul is released.
  • Nightmare Face: Bubbles makes one when the opposing bobsled team make fun of her for liking cute animals.
  • No Ontological Inertia: Once the contract gets ripped in half by Blossom and HIM's struggle, this releases Blossom's soul, poofs her back home, returns HIM's dimension back to normal and poofs away Bubbles and Buttercup's bobsled since it was purchased using the dollar HIM gave them.
  • Order Versus Chaos: A theme of this one, with Blossom's Order intruding on HIM's home base of Chaos.
  • Pity the Kidnapper: HIM thinks he'll be able to torture Blossom but Blossom ends up being the one to drive him crazy instead.
  • Sold His Soul for a Donut: Blossom is incredulous to find out her sisters sold her soul just for a measly dollar to buy a bobsled. Or as they put it:
Blossom: They traded my soul for a bobsled?!
HIM: Well, technically they traded you for a dollar.
  • Shout-Out: At one point Blossom dresses like and takes on the mannerisms of Bill Lumbergh from Office Space when criticizing HIM's office performance.
  • Sure, Let's Go with That: When Bubbles and Buttercup are signing the deal, Bubbles comments on the red ink they use to do it.
HIM: (Shifty eyed) Uh yeah... "ink".
  • Tear Up the Contract: When HIM finally has enough of Blossom, he tries to send her home, but finds out he can't since her soul still belongs to him. The only way to undo this is to destroy the contract. HIM thus ends up fighting Blossom over the contract, resulting in a Tear-Apart Tug-of-War during which the contract is broken and Blossom is immediately send back home.
  • Villain Protagonist: In a sense, HIM when Blossom starts taking over and organizing his realm, deciding she isn't worth the trouble to keep. Pronounced even more when Blossom wants to stay in the Dimension of Chaos.
  • Your Soul Is Mine!: Said word for word when HIM comes to collect Blossom's soul.
