They finally get around to fixing the Captain America shield after "A Day Unlike Any Other", which brings out heroes to the only people who know enough about vibranium to work with it, in Wakanda. Things start getting tense as T'challa/Black Panther still refuses to rejoin the team after what the Skrulls did, but they may not even have time to fix things as the Vision, seeking rare artifacts from all over the world, now has his sights set on vibranium — and Wakanda itself.

- After Thor is ambushed, Cap does a flying kick into Vision. He doesn't budge an inch.
- Hawkeye attempts to crush Vision with a large rock, only to learn he can become intangible.
- One-Man Army: Vision effortlessly makes his way to the vibranium mines when facing assorted opponents. It's only after his arm is damaged trying to get the shield and the four Avengers start a combined assault that the tables turn.
- Passive-Aggressive Kombat: Hawkeye keeps needling Black Panther about abandoning the team before challenging him to a fight.
- Raised Hand of Survival: Before facing Hawkeye at the site, Vision leaves the others buried under rubble in the mine. After some fighting, we cut back to the mine and get this from Thor (with hammer in hand).
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: During the final fight, Vision keeps track of his chances for success, which decrease every time he takes damage. When the percentage drops catastrophically low, he bails.
- Take That!: To the Wakandan tradition that implies all someone has to do to become the ruler of Wakanda is win a wrestling fight. Even though Black Panther finds this law stupid, he never actually abolished it, so Hawkeye attempts several times throughout the episode to use this oversight to take over Wakanda to get back at T'Challa for leaving the team. It doesn't go in Hawkeye's favor.
- Taught by Experience: After losing track of Vision, Black Panther suggests checking the vibranium mines on the grounds that these kind of situations always involve someone trying to claim a supply.
- Unflinching Walk: Vision during Thor's lightning attack, no doubt because he's an Intangible Man.
- Villain Ball: Averted. After learning where the shield is, Vision leaves Wasp and Jane buried in rubble so that they can't warn anyone in Wakanda of what's coming.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Hawkeye spends much of the episode calling out Black Panther for abandoning the team and refusing to rejoin as the Skrull invasion was starting.
