Not wanting to participate in Jollywood's Funniest Haircut Day, Grumpy goes into hiding until the day passes, leading to Bashful searching for him. Meanwhile, the Glooms disguise themselves as hairdressers to collect hair from the citizens to reduce Jollywood to rubble.

- Accidental Public Confession: When the spell doesn't work, Grim states, out loud, that they needed hair clippings from 101 citizens to take over Jollywood. And everyone within earshot hear the Glooms' plan.
- And Here He Comes Now: Grim tells Hildy that they only got hair clippings from 99 citizens, meaning that they need hair clippings from two more people to take over the town. Cue Bashful and Grumpy falling from the sky.Bashful and Grumpy: Incoming!!!
- Anything but That!: Queen Delightful pouting is this to all the citizens of Jollywood, the 7D included.
- Bee Afraid: Played for Laughs. When Dopey contacts a bear, the latter is trying to get honey from a beehive. The hive falls on his head, leading the bees to attack him, leading the bear to run around in a panic.
- Beware the Silly Ones: As quirky as Queen Delightful is, you do not want to skip out on a holiday unless you want the entire town to face her pouting.
- Beyond the Impossible: The woodpecker pecks on a branch Grumpy was sitting on. Only instead of the branch breaking and falling, the entire tree breaks off and falls down.
- Big "WHAT?!": All of the citizens of Jollywood say this after hearing the Glooms' Accidental Public Confession.
- Blatant Lies: On a previous Gag Haircut Day, Grumpy told the others that he has to attend Giselle's "family reunion".
- Blowing a Raspberry: Grumpy does this to a woodpecker who he thinks is Bashful.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: After failing to catch Grumpy from a tree, Bashful turns to the audience and says that he'll get him.
- Brick Joke: A spell involving 101 Jolliwoodians is needed to reduce the town into rubble. Grim knocks off two of the bottles earlier in the episode leading to Hildy collecting hair clippings from only 99 citizens, meaning they left out two people.
- Also the bear that Dopey contacted earlier, who ended up with a hive on its head, appears behind Bashful.
- Butter Face: Queen Delightful...when making her pouting face.
- Can't Get Away with Nuthin': Grumpy tries to get out of participating in Funniest Haircut Day by hiding out, only for Bashful to find him no matter where he hides. Then the latter has the former cornered when both are shot out of an elephant.
- Casual Danger Dialogue: After being shot out of an elephant's trunk and while flying through the air, Bashful nonchalantly tells Grumpy that he's participating in the event, much to the latter's dismay.
- Compressed Hair: Grumpy is revealed to have a very severe case of this whenever he takes off his flowerpot hat. Then later on, it's revealed that Queen Delightful also has a case of this.
- Crazy-Prepared: When Grumpy falls from a tree, Bashful has a net ready to catch him.
- Cutaway Gag: The Glooms say that Jollywood's usual hairstylist won a vacation trip. Cut to him in a small, airtight room, wearing a shackle.
- Didn't Think This Through: Grumpy decides to hide away in a location known for its many hiding spots. Bashful, being a Stealth Expert and knowing all of the typical hiding spots in that place, manages to find him with ease.
- Eek, a Mouse!!: When the plan to sneeze Grumpy out didn't work, Bashful utilizes a mouse to scare the elephant to dive into its mouth to fish Grumpy out of it.
- Epic Fail: When Grumpy dives into the mouth of an elephant, Bashful tries to get it to sneeze to get him out. Unfortunately, this leads to Grumpy being flung into a hippo, who proceeds to sneeze him back into the elephant and vice versa.
- Flashback: Grumpy recalls a childhood memory where he had to get a haircut but to do that he had to remove his flowerpot hat which he initially refuses. When he does remove it, he ends up getting pressed up against the window by his decompressed hair and being laughed at by the townsfolk.
- Flashback Cut: Happy recalls a time when Grumpy didn't participate in a previous Funniest Haircut day because he has to attend Giselle's family reunion.
- Funny Background Event: After Bashful says that he'll manage to catch Grumpy, the bear Dopey contacted earlier, is seen running around in a panic, with the beehive still on his head.
- Gag Haircut: The entire point of Funniest Haircut Day.
- Genre Savvy: Bashful notes that hiding inside a log is considered too obvious since most cartoons would often involve someone hiding in one.
- Gonk: Queen Delightful's pouting face is, uh...less than flattering. It's no wonder why everyone in Jollywood, including the 7D, finds it unbearable to look at.
- A Handful for an Eye: Of the non-blinding type. To get Grumpy out of an elephant, Bashful blows pepper into its face to get it to sneeze him out.
- Hellish Pupils: Dopey briefly gets these when he was contacting a rattlesnake.
- Huddle Shot: This was used when the 6D hatch a plan to locate Grumpy.
- Improbable Hairstyle: Some of the people who participated in the holiday got haircuts that look very improbable. Take Doc, Queen Delightful and Starchbottom's haircuts for example.
- Incoming!: Bashful and Grumpy say this when they fall into Jollywood.
- Inelegant Blubbering: After hearing Grumpy's Traumatic Haircut backstory, Giselle is left in hysterics and the former had to send her home.

- Missed Him by That Much: When Grumpy falls out of a tree, Bashful uses a net to catch him...only for the former to land behind the latter and easily get away.Bashful: I'll get him.
