Nekketsu High, a school for those who live by their own terms, is ruled by the person who holds the title of "Bancho Boss". With Daigo Kazama, the school's boss graduating, the Bancho Boss' throne now sits empty. In order to settle who'll sit on the throne and be the new Bancho Boss, the school holds the Nekketsu Battle Royale, a clash of fists and ideals in order to see who'll sit at the top with 4 candidates, Batsu, Cammy, Morrigan, and Sigma all duking it out.

- Absurdly Powerful Student Council: When you've got Colonel cutting through walls looking for delinquents, you know the school's Moral Comittee is merciless.
- Batter Up!: Shoma, Chosokabe, Date, and Sigma all have baseball bats with them. In the case of Date, he wields six.
- Chucking Chalk: Chun-Li throws some chalk like she was performing the light version of Kikoken in the "High-Speed Chalk Throw" card (SR 031).
- Dynamic Entry: Nemesis shows up to class for his welcome day by crashing through the ceiling, briefcase in hand.
- Evil Teacher: Nathaniel Bard is the school's science teacher, and he admits through his flavor text that he uses his class as an excuse to run experiments.
- Flag Bikini: Tiffany's got an American Flag bikini she wears to the school's swimming pool, one with different design than the one she wears in her cameo in the background of Street Fighter V's Kanzuki Beach stage.
- High School AU: Seems to be the case, no other way to explain how a genocidal robot like Sigma and demon rulers like Morrigan and Jedah can be attending classes alongside actual students like Hinata and Batsu.
- Japanese Delinquents: In spades! Daigo Kazama and his teammates Edge & Gan, as usual. Eratoeir, Sigma, Colonel, and the reploids are wearing their bancho costumes from Mega Man X DiVE's "Campus Festival" event, Morrigan's wearing a Sailor Fuku styled after sukebans, and while Jedah looks the exact same as he always does, this is because his outfit was already based on Japanese school uniforms.
- New Transfer Student: The supplementary cards for this expansion show 4 rather unconventional students in front of the class; The Silver Samurai, a Rajang, Oro, and Nemesis.
- School Newspaper News Hound: Ran Hibiki's still just as headline hungry as ever, eagerly passing out newspapers about the battle royale and interviewing Sigma & Morrigan regarding their goals.
- Took a Level in Cheerfulness: In a first for her in TEPPEN, Oichi is actually smiling in her unit card, using her shadow hands to water the school's garden.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Missile REALLY loves the school's yakisoba buns.
- Toast of Tardiness: Sakura's unit art shows her late for school with this... and then parodied with the elderly transfer student Oro, much to Hinata's surprise.
