The older sisters (minus Lori) and Margo have gathered together on the couch for Lynn's first time on "After Dark". They will be reading New Jersey, by the same guy who wrote Tryst of Fate.
We open on Clyde, sitting in bed waiting for Lynn. Margo (the real one) doesn't know who Clyde is, but Lynn explains that he's Lincoln's geeky friend. Margo points out that they're all pretty geeky, so she specifies "the neurotic one". Then, it's revealed that Clyde in the story is older— specifically, he's a college freshman.
As Lynn tries to imagine what future-Clyde would look like, the Clyde in the story feels very worried and lonely. It turns out that the Lynn in the story is late to be tutored by him. Back on the couch, Margo points out that Lynn is always late for practice and once lied that she had a flat tire and a dead battery on her (nonexistent) motorcycle.
The older Clyde wonders if Lynn is being swarmed by fans, making the real Lynn proud. Just then, the Clyde in the story falls over, and when he gets up, story-Lynn shows up and notices his glasses are crooked. The real Lynn remembers Dexter once broke his glasses and tried to pass it off as a fashion statement, then Leni wants to try the same with her sunglasses but Luna says no.
Then, it's revealed that the story's versions of Clyde and Lynn are dating, which weirds out everyone on the couch, especially since Lynn once shoved Clyde into a locker for being in the hall without a pass. Then, the story's Lynn's nose is described as pudgy, and Luan on the couch starts to joke about how Lynn's nose isn't pudgy but Margo's is, only for her to get slightly offended.
In the story, Lynn sits on Clyde's bed and complains of a bad day. Luna asks the real Lynn if she can see herself with Clyde, and she says that she sort of can, but she doesn't see him in that way. Fanfic Lynn says that she already got tutored, which makes Clyde very sad. This confuses the real Luna, since while she agrees it's a "dick move", she didn't expect him to take it that badly.
He frowns, causing the fanfic Lynn to laugh at him for pouting, cheering him up. Then, she reveals that her new tutor is a nerdy boy named Ethan, oddly assuming that he and Clyde must know each other because they're both nerds. She claims to have been bored of the Wednesday tutoring sessions, prompting the other girls on the couch to berate story-Lynn for her lack of communication.
Then, things start to get hot and heavy in the story (namely Lynn is giving Clyde looks while he has a boner he's trying to hide), and Margo starts to feel a bit awkward, but Luan tells her to consider herself lucky it's not like what Mr. Grouse, Benny, and Chaz had to sit through.
The Lynn in the story shows off her eponymous jersey, which Clyde finds hot because it's tight. Then, she takes off her shorts, revealing it to be a leotard, while Clyde continues to leer. Then, she farts on him and he finds that hot too, then they start making out. Then, they go all the way and Luna wonders if they're using protection, since it's hard to stay ripped when you're pregnant.
The story ends, and Lynn says that she liked the story since the author was a good writer, and it kept reminding the audience how awesome she was. Luan makes another crack about Margo's nose, so Margo wrestles Luan.

- Luan says that this story is tame compared to what Mr. Grouse (in After Dark 1), Benny (in After Dark 3), and Chaz (in After Dark 4) had to sit through. For reference, Mr. Grouse read a story about Leni as a Cat Girl raping Luan, Benny read a story about Luan as a sociopathic pedophile who rapes Lincoln and wants to kill her siblings and cat, and Chaz read The Aristocrats joke, Loud House style.
- Lynn mentions that Clyde has a crush on her. He developed one in the episode of the main series where they read Class Night.
- Crack Pairing: In-Universe, Luan wonders what's with the author and weird pairings, since he first shipped Lori and Carol, and now Lynn and Clyde.
