Sometime after Hiroto becomes the governor of Salabria, Orsia—Salabria's neighboring province—is under attacked by the Red-Winged Vampires that is led by their tribe chieftain Gezerkia. Even worse, Gezerkia's terror on Orsia has garners the attention of Emepria.
This volume provides examples of:
- Asshole Victim: Castle lords of both Shura and Az made a terrible mistake to resist the Red-Winged Vampires even after they are beaten and they get killed for it.
- Attempted Rape:
- The two Red-Winged Vampires whom Valkyria encountered during her first "tour" in Shura are going to do that to a helpless women only to be caught by Gezerkia who then killed them afterwards.
- One of Gezerkia's subordinate trying to do that onto Valkyria despite his leader just ordered him to keep her as hostage
- Armor-Piercing Response: Has a number of these, especially from Hiroto.
- When Gezerkia claims that taking over cities is her clan's only solution to secure their survival, Hiroto responds by telling Gezerkia that what her clan did isn't sufficient.
- Curb-Stomp Battle:
- Gezerkia and the Red-Winged Vampires easily take over the cities of Shura and Azu within 30 minutes. Granted, the humans are at a disadvantage.
- They also crush Orsia Subjugation Army without breaking a sweat, so much so that two castle lords from Uruk and Oribe immediately surrender to the clan and flee out of fear.
- In turn, Curele crushes Gezerkia and the Red-Wing Vampires' winning streak (Shura and Azu, respectively) epically by just dashing through them that blast them to the building or ground.
- The early defense of Nolte and Secondaria effectively force the Red-Winged Vampires to retreat due to their early preparation, courtesy of Hiroto via the Air Mail service. Those themselves break the Red-Winged Vampires' fable undefeated streak and even forces Gezerkia to realize that so long Hiroto is there, they can't attack Salarbia.
- Didn't See That Coming:
- With 4 castles are under the Red-Winged Vampires control, along with their easy victory over against Orsia Subjugation Army that spread fear among the humans, Gezerkia assume that conquering Salabria cities of Nolte, Aldus, Litteau and Nolte would be like cake walk and even thinking of capturing Hiroto as her prisoner will add one her. Little does she realize that Hiroto was one step ahead of her and he already make preperations
- Don't You Dare Pity Me!: In spite of losing his army to Gezerkia's army. Gundogan still refuses to seek Hiroto for help as he claims that will make him an incompetent lord. That is until he meets Hiroto and his allies themselves that he finally
- Everyone Has Standards: For all her loathe against humans, even Gezerkia draws the line by not allowing anyone to harm or kill women and children, with a stern warning that she will execute them if she catches them doing do again.
- I Warned You: Zeldis has specifically warned the Red-Winged Vampires—especially Gezerkia—that he will not tolerate anyone who harm Hiroto or any cities from Salabria, whereas Valkyria warns Gezerkia not to underestimate Hiroto. Neither Gezerkia nor her fellow vampires take their advice seriously until they meet Hiroto himself and being outfoxed by his ploy. Zeldis meets Gezerkia again and tell Gezerkia to her face that harming Hiroto will mean crossing with them.
- Moral Myopia: Gezerkia and Red-Winged Vampires. For their hatred against humans for destroying their homes that led to their brink of destruction via death by starvation, they do the same by invading and conquering cities where the humans are settling, killing male prisoners by making them for food, and even trying to have their way with female victim. O
- Oh, Crap!:
- The castle lords of Aldus, Litteau and Nolte are this when they received Gezerkia's threat letters about their town are next after conquering Orsia's four towns.
- Gezerkia has this reaction when she and her fellow vampires confront and witness Curele's inhumane power that deliver one massive destruction
- Pride : Both Gundogan and Gezerkia's fatal flaw and their source for their defeat.
- Rape, Pillage, and Burn: The Red-Winged Vampires is doing this to Azu where they take humans as hostage.
- Redshirt Army: Orsia Subjugation Army is this where they are easily crushed by the Red-Winged Vampires. The result of this defeat.
- Revenge Before Reason: Gezerkia and the Red-Winged Vampires attack and take over the towns of Orsia as their revenge for the development decree that destroyed their home.
- Spiteful Spit: The former Shura Lord gives this to Gezerkia as his last insult to the vampiric invaders, and he is beheaded for it.
- Too Dumb to Live: Castle lords of both Shura and Az think that antagonizing Gezerkia and the Red-Winged Vampires will somehow "prove" their resistance.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech:
- Gezerkia give these to the humans of both Orsia and even Salabria (Nolte, Aldus, Litteau) about how humans are "monsters" and they will retake something that belonged to them.
- Zeldis calls out Gezerkia for killing innocent people and taking over their towns.
