Space Con
- Cosplay: Peter cosplays as Space Ghost, while Augie, Shag, and Yakky dress up as Jan, Jace, and Blip. Meanwhile, Zorak, Brak, and Moltar cosplay as The Galaxy Trio.
- Disguised in Drag: Zorak dresses as Gravity Girl.
- Even the Guys Want Him: Snagglepuss says that he wants to kiss Space Ghost.Snagglepuss: You want to kiss him! I want to kiss him!
- Fan Convention: Everyone at Jellystone gathers at the sci-fi convention to meet Space Ghost.
- Gaslighting: At the end of the episode, Shag successfully tricks the real Space Ghost into thinking that he's actually Peter. Then, Space Ghost starts living Peter's life.
- Gratuitous Japanese: Peter calls the power bands "sugoi."
- Hidden Depths: Moltar is revealed to be great at sewing costumes.
- Mythology Gag: At one point, Brak says that his mom and his friend Clarence think he's cool; both of these characters are from The Brak Show.
- He also mentions he got more Fanmail than Space Ghost during the run of Cartoon Planet.
- Part of Brak and Peter's fight dialogue is lifted directly from Brak's debut episode in the original Space Ghost cartoon.
- Brak talking to Wally Gator at the con may be a reference to Wally Gator acting as Brak's MC during the Brak Presents The Brak Show Starring Brak specials.
- Moltar going by "Moltor" and wearing green is actual Early-Installment Weirdness from the original Space Ghost cartoon.
- Nap-Inducing Speak: Zorak, Brak, and Moltar start falling asleep while Peter-as-Space-Ghost is answering fan questions.
- Snot Bubble: Zorak briefly produces a snot bubble while napping.
- Spoof Aesop: "Steal from your heroes."
- Tears of Joy: Peter cries happy tears at the thought of his fanfiction coming true.
- Tempting Fate: Peter says that there will be no consequences for stealing from his hero. Then, Space Ghost crashes into the building.
- Your Costume Needs Work: Inverted. Peter's Space Ghost cosplay is enough to convince everyone that he's the real deal.

- Growing Muscles Sequence: After Shazzan gives his genie magic to Yogi, Yogi gains muscles.
- Mythology Gag: Yogi was previously a genie in Scooby-Doo in Arabian Nights.
- Person as Verb: Shoving your responsibilities onto someone else is known as "pulling a Yogi."
- Sleepwalking: Shazzan was sleepwalking through the town.
- Supering in Your Sleep: While sleepwalking, Shazzan keeps shooting magic everywhere and giving unwanted transformations to the citizens.
