Mummy Knows Best
- Bandage Mummy: El Kabong gets crushed by Peter's airship, and is later shown in a full-body cast.
- The Cameo: Bandit, Race Bannon, and Dr. Benton Quest from Jonny Quest are shown in photos around the Quest Bowl bowling alley.
- Isekai: Peter references isekai when he sees the plague beetles taking over the time. He says it's like an isekai anime, and not the good kind.
- Make-Out Kids: Wally Gator and Winsome Witch, of all people, are shown making out. Averted with Jonny and Hadji. Hadji says that he hates PDA and he finds Jonny's lovey-dovey wallpaper for the bowling alley to be garish.
- Mummy: A mummy in Quest Bowl awakes from his tomb, answers the phone call from El Kabong, and becomes the substitute teacher for the day. El Kabong assumed he was an evil monster, but the mummy was actually teaching useful and interesting things to the kids about Ancient Egypt and mummy culture.
- Mythology Gag: The episode starts with El Kabong telling his students how the universe was created. Shag asks which one's Hanna and which one's Barbera.
- Nails on a Blackboard: The mummy scrapes his nails on the chalkboard, much to the chagrin of the students.

Values Dissonance: Referenced when El Kabong shows the kids a "culturally dubious" movie starring Hong Kong Phooey, whose show contained ethnic stereotypes. - What Happened to the Mouse?: The mummy came from Quest Bowl, but Jonny and Hadji don't show up again for the rest of the episode after the mummy leaves.
Augie-Mented Reality
- Doting Parent: "Jinks Daddy" (Jinks as Doggie Daddy) thinks "Augieberry" (Huck as Augie) is just the sweetest little bug.
- Grammar Correction Gag: El Kabong corrects Augie and Daddy's morning song by saying that it should be "Dad and I" instead of "you and me."
- Insert Song: Augie and Daddy always sing a song in the morning together. By the end of the episode, they reunite with a duet.
- Matter Replicator: Cindy's Replicationizer 1999 can copy anything's molecular structure and paste it onto any object. She demonstrates this by copying the molecular structure of a patty and pasting it onto some flowers. Doggie Daddy then uses it to turn everyone into Augie, and then Augie uses it to turn everyone into Daddy.
- Split Screen: The screen is split when Augie and Daddy realize simultaneously that they miss each other.
