"Zombodie Told Me" is the sixth episode of Gory Toons.
Lumpy the blue moose places a can of toxic waste outside. As he walks back to his house, Cuddles happens to stumble across the can while playing with a balloon . Out of curosity, he slurped the can up with a straw and predictably collapses. Meanwhile, Chef Pee Pee listens to his radio until he hears his doorbell ring. As he opens the door, he is greeted by a zombofied Cuddles and runs away in fear. Chef Pee Pee hides behind a couch, but Cuddles was quick to spot him and grabs Chef Pee Pee as he clinches the floor for dear life. The zombified Cuddles then wacks Chef Pee Pee with his mallet until his face cracks open. Cuddles looks away to see Mime and sets his next target. As Mime realizes his fate, the mallet suddenly moves on its own accord and hovers above Mime. The mallet flattens Mime as well. Cuddles then arrives at Lumpy's trailer and throws a log at his door. However, a few trick-or-treaters catches Cuddles attention, so he decides to kill them first. His first victim is Toothy, whose zipper he tightens very tightly, causing Toothy's head to explode. Next up is Kirby, who Cuddles kill by taking off the blade of Kirby's Cutter cap and slicing his head in half. Nutty is the last in line. He tries to save himself by pulling the old glasses standard with his Groucho Marx mask, but it doesn't work and Cuddles uses the glasses to mutilate Nutty's eyes. As Cuddles celebrates his rampage, Lumpy swoops in and crushes the zombified Cuddles' head with a wooden club.
"Zombodie Told Me" provides examples of:
- Big Damn Heroes: This episode is a perfect example of how Lumpy is often the epitome of this trope. In the ending, he is the one who kills the zombie Cuddles.
- Bittersweet Ending: Zombie Cuddles has already killed many of his friends in his undead persona but at least Lumpy puts a stop to his homicide.
- Bloodier and Gorier: This episode is one of the more graphic and gruesome episodes out there. It makes sense as this is a Halloween episode, but this episode manages to surpass the usual expectation from the actual budget and quality of this show.
- Bludgeoned to Death: Chef Pee Pee's death. He is smacked in the head by Cuddles with a hammer until his face cracks open.
- Cruel and Unusual Death:
- Chef Pee Pee has his fingernails scraped off and his head cracked open by Cuddles' mallet.
- Toothy's head swells up due to Cuddles' intentionally pulling the zipper too tight and brutally explodes.
- Debut Queue: This episode reintroduces Lumpy.
- Elongating Arm Gag: Cuddles does this to grab Nutty's glasses and smack him with them.
- Eye Scream: Nutty has both of his eyes gouged out by Cuddles with his Grucho Marx glasses.
- Eyelid Pull Taunt: In an arrogant attempt to use the classic You Wouldn't Hit a Guy with Glasses gag, he taunts Cuddles by pulling this jesture. Of course, this only diminishes his chances of survival.
- Facial Horror: Chef Pee Pee's face is torn open after being slammed with Cuddles' hammer twice.
- Fingore: Chef Pee Pee has his fingernails peeled off in an attempt to resist being pulled in by Cuddles.
- Half the Man He Used to Be: Kirby's death. Cuddles pulls the cutter blade off of his hat and uses it to slice his head off. Cuddles proceeds to take a bite out of Kirby's brain.
- Halloween Cosplay: The trick-or-treaters in this episode wear the following:
- Toothy wears a Splendid costume.
- Nutty wears Grucho Marx's iconic glasses and nose.
- Kirby wears the hat of his Cutter Copy Ability.
- Halloween Episode: And the first full length one at that.
- Hand Rubbing: Cuddles does this upon seeing the toxic waste. Stupidity ensues.
- Idiot Ball: The whole conflict is kick-started because Cuddles drunk a can of toxic nuclear waste for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
- Loud Gulp: Mime lets out a big one after realizing that a zombiefied Cuddles wants to eat his brains.
- Nuclear Mutant: Cuddles becomes an evil zombie because he drank nuclear waste.
- Oh, Crap!: From many characters who realized that Cuddles is actually a zombie.
- Our Zombies Are Different: Cuddles seems to be a zombie who is just antagonistic. He doesn't seem to be particularly motivated in eating anyone's brains and while all of his victims' deaths involves their heads, he is never shown eating the brain matter left, though he does feast Kirby's brain.
- Revenant Zombie: Cuddles seems to be virtually the same in terms of intelligence and is pretty crafty with his kills. In fact, he doesn't even seem particularly interested in any of his victims' brains with the exception of Kirby.
- Sickly Green Glow: The radioactive goo.
- Smart Ball: Lumpy manages to successfully resolve the conflict by killing Cuddles with a club.
- They Killed Kenny Again: Cuddles, Toothy, Kirby, Chef Pee Pee, Nutty, and Mime all die in this episode. Cuddles in particular dies twice.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Lumpy survives in this episode.
- Too Dumb to Live: Cuddles decides to drink the toxic waste out of a can for seemingly no reason other than to be a daredevil.
- Toxic Waste Can Do Anything: Cuddles suddenly becomes a zombie from drinking toxic waste.
- Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: While most antagonists in the series are over-the-top or incompetent at best, Cuddles in his zombified form is played rather tensely. He enjoys killing his victims a bit too much and any comedic value directly given from Zombodie Cuddles has little to no presence whatsoever.
- Villain Protagonist: Cuddles, specifically after ingesting toxic waste and becoming undead.
- Your Head A-Splode: Toothy's death. His head pops after compression by the zipper of his costume.
- You Wouldn't Hit a Guy with Glasses: Nutty attempts to Subvert this trope while Cuddles made it Played Straight. Nutty tries to use his Groucho Marx costume's glasses as a way for Cuddles to not kill him... Not only did he hit a guy with glasses but he also hit a guy ''with'' glasses.
