Stewie rivals Doug while trying to win the name "Snack Captain" for his preschool.

Tropes:

  • Bait-and-Switch:
    • Stewie tells Brian not to lick his balls. Brian denies he was going to lick his balls and then pulls out a couple of tennis balls when Stewie walks away.
    • The episode makes it seem like Meg told Doug that Stewie is a mistake, going so far as to use Meg's voice and silhouette, only for Chris to emerge from the shadows instead of Meg. Later, after Stewie watches the sex tape from the night he was conceived, it seems like Chris is explaining what really happened that night while obscured in a dark part of the room only for Peter to come out of the shadows instead.
  • Betty and Veronica: Joe asks this to Quagmire, to which he replies both.
  • Bus Crash: After becoming Snack Captain, Stevie off-handedly comments that Doug’s death is part of the reason he won.
  • Call-Back: Upon hearing that Stewie was a mistake, one of the preschoolers calls him a "big fat phony", while Stewie remarks "Okay, I think I know whose kid that is."
  • Character Death: Doug died in an airplane crash off-screen. Given the nature of the show, it's unknown if Doug will stay dead, but an episode in the next season shows that Stewie has a new rival named William, meaning that Doug's death may well stick.
  • Child by Rape: According to Peter, all three of the Griffin children were conceived by Lois raping Peter.
  • Double Standard Rape: Female on Male: It's clear from the sex tape that Peter doesn't want to have sex with Lois. She initiates anyway. This is Played for Laughs.
  • Jerkass: Doug starts spreading a rumour that Stewie is a "whoops baby" to try and derail Stewie’s campaign for Snack Captain.
  • Jerkass Ball: Chris, unfortunately, gets to hold one for this episode. Not only does he go against Stewie during his run for Snack Captain, but he also tells Doug that Stewie was a mistake. However, he never intended to hurt his brother's feelings, and he still helps Stewie win the title of Snack Captain by the end.
  • Killed Offscreen: Stewie off-handedly says that he won Snack Captain because Doug got into a plane crash and died offscreen.
  • Never My Fault: While Chris does feel bad for upsetting his brother and even helps him win Snack Captain at the end, he never really apologizes for telling Doug that Stewie was a mistake.
  • Parental Abandonment: According to Brian, Peter frequently attempts to abandon Stewie at the fire station. For his own, Stewie's actually fine with this.
  • Porn Stash: Chris reveals he has an impressive collection, even having a sex tape of the night Stewie was conceived for some reason.
  • Practically Different Generations: Discussed. After Doug spreads the rumor about Stewie being a "whoops baby", Brian points out that the rumor might not exactly be unfounded. He specifically brings up how weird it is that Peter and Lois had Stewie while they were in their forties and years after Meg and Chris had already been born back to back.
  • The Reveal: As it turns out, Stewie wasn’t a mistake - Lois desperately wanted another child as Meg and Chris approached adulthood.
  • Take That!: "Consider them forgotten, like La La Land, the most celebrated movie ever made that suddenly no one remembers, mentions, or cares about."
