Brandy realizes that it's getting close to Christmas, so in an attempt to try to get back home, she spreads the word of Christmas to the Amazon, as Brandy thinks Santa would have no choice but to come if people are looking forward to it.

Tropes:

  • Ash Face: Santa gets one from his own sleigh when he sends Brandy and Mr. Whiskers off to save Christmas.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: When she thinks she’s going to finally be able to go home to Florida, Brandy tells Mr. Whiskers that she’s actually going to miss him.
  • Blind Mistake: While trying to help Brandy with the Christmas stockings, Lola gets a sock stuck on her head and runs into a palm tree. When she hits the tree, a coconut falls on her head and she thinks that Brandy had hit her for messing up the decorations.
Lola: Well, you don’t have to be mean about it!
  • Christmas Episode: With Christmas coming up, Brandy realizes this could be her chance to finally get home. However, things quickly go wrong and her and Mr. Whiskers have to fill in for Santa in order to keep Christmas from being canceled altogether.
  • Conscience Makes You Go Back: Brandy finally makes it back home to Florida, but after experiencing the joys of Christmas she decides to leave with Mr. Whiskers to help deliver the rest of the presents. She was planning to hitch a ride back with Santa afterwards, but since Status Quo Is God he flies off before she can join him.
  • *Crack!* "Oh, My Back!": Santa threw his back out when Brandy caused his sleigh to crash and he’s too injured to continue delivering gifts.
  • Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Nixon: Invoked by the episode’s title.
  • Eleventy Zillion: Whiskers tells Brandy that they only have one night to deliver presents to “forty quadzillion billion trillion” houses.
  • "Everybody Laughs" Ending: Everyone bursts out laughing when Brandy ends the episode saying she just has to be nice for another whole year.
  • Extra-Long Episode: This is the only double-length episode of the series.
  • Fright-Induced Bunkmate: Brandy lets Mr. Whiskers sleep in bed with her because he’s scared of Santa Claus.
  • Furry Confusion: After they’re done decorating, Brandy says they now just need a big bird to roast. Cheryl and Meryl then start fighting over who should get eaten, seen via a Battle Discretion Shot.
  • Hair Flip: Brandy flips one of her ears when Ed says she looks peaked.
Brandy: Please. I may not feel great, but I still look good.
  • It's All About Me: Brandy quickly corrects Lola when she thinks she’s crying about “ruining the hopes and dreams of children everywhere”.
Brandy: Oh, who cares about them? I’m crying because I ruined my hopes and dreams of getting home!
  • Malaproper:
    • Instead of “Merry Christmas” and “Santa Claus”, Gaspar says “Hairy Christmas” and “Santa Paws”.
    • Whiskers says “Fee! Fi! Fo!”, “Go! Go! Go!”, and “Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!” instead of “Ho! Ho! Ho!”
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: When Brandy throws the piece of coal she got from Santa in a fit of anger, it hits Rudolph in the head and makes Santa’s sleigh crash; and subsequently almost ruins Christmas.
  • Rump Roast: During one of Whiskers’ Chimney Entries, he lands on some smoldering logs and catches his backside on fire. It takes him a little while to realize, but eventually he smells it burning and uses a glass of milk left for Santa to put it out.
  • Santa Claus: It turns out Mr. Whiskers is scared of Santa Claus and thinks he’s not to be trusted. However, Santa quickly wins him over with some candy canes.
  • Subbing for Santa: With Santa and his reindeer injured because of them, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers have to fill in for him to deliver presents to the rest of the world with Ed, Lola, Cheryl, and Meryl standing in as reindeer.
  • Toy Disguise: Mr. Whiskers disguises himself as a toy underneath a Christmas tree in order to hide from a little boy he woke up.
  • True Meaning of Christmas: Throughout the episode, Brandy acts as selfish and materialistic as usual. However, she eventually learns how rewarding it is to think about someone other than herself for a change and make others happy.
Brandy: I learned that Christmas isn’t about getting, it’s about giving!
