Basic Trope: When someone wants to hurt or kill someone, people nearby can sense it. Sometimes too much.
- Straight: Barbaric Bully Flash Young is normally seen with a vicious, scrunched up scowl, but whenever he really wants to kill someone, his face softens up and goes into a Kubrick Death Glare, as if he's completely forgoing everything around him in favor of a laser guided dishing out of cruel and unusual deaths. And those around him are usually scared shitless because of it.
- Exaggerated: Flash's intent is so strong that nobody can even see him as a normal human being, which in turn sets off their Fight-Or-Flight instincts; It doesn't help that it often looks like there's a Battle Aura around him whenever he's particularly pissed.
- Downplayed: Flash does have an intent, it's just that he doesn't show it off as much, though if one were to notice it, then they're definitely not going to forget it.
- Justified: Flash just really felt like killing someone today. And considering that he's a 7 foot tall, 300 pound musclebound tank that could finger curl an M1 Abrams, it's pretty much impossible to not even have an Oh, Crap! reaction for his potential victim.
- Inverted: Whenever Flash wants to help someone, his face softens up, and he bears a slight Grin of Audacity.
- Subverted: Flash seemingly has no killing intent; It just happens spontaneously.
- Double Subverted: Well, seemingly. Flash just hides it better than anyone else.
- Parodied: This intent is used whenever Flash wants to commit some comically petty actions towards someone.
- Zig-Zagged: There is an intent, nobody just knows what the actual fuck it's even for.
- Averted: There is no intent at all.
- Enforced: The creators wanted to show just how scary Flash can be whenever he puts his mind to it; Other times, he's a bumbling meathead that does bizarre and inane shit on a whim.
- Lampshaded: "I can really feel his intent right now; I can only pray that whoever had just gotten on his bad side will come out of it alive. At best in a hospital bed."
- Invoked: Flash is told to show some anger and attitude and is subsequently taunted, with each Berserk Button being pressed rapidly. To say that it had Gone Horribly Right is quite possibly the understatement of the century.
- Exploited: Flash is actually a Misunderstood Loner with a Heart of Gold, and it doesn't help that his Face of a Thug tends to scare people. But when there's someone who really needs scaring, Flash could just feign one of these to scare them off.
- Defied: Flash refuses to show out some killing intent.
- Discussed: Characters discuss how scary Flash can be whenever he gets pissed off to the point where he's not even scowling anymore.
- Conversed: "Ah, good old killing intent. An old trope, but it checks out."
- Implied: When Jerk Jock Joe is suddenly scared shitless of Flash, he stammers out that he's seen the eyes of a complete fucking demon, and wants absolutely nothing to do with that fucking monster.
- Played for Horror: Pretty much done as is.
