Sleeping With Sirens is an American rock bands from Orlando, Florida currently residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The band was formed in 2009 by members of For All We Know and Paddock Park. The group is known primarily for the versatility of vocalist Kellin Quinn's leggero terror vocal range, along with the heavy sound used on their early work and the pop influences they used later into their career.

Tropes

  • Careful with That Axe: The first album is fairly screamo, but later albums are much less so. The single If You Can't Hang is fairly regular singing until the bridge, when Kellin screams the words "Imagine that"
  • Cover Version: The band has versions of Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls and Fuck You by Cee Lo Green
  • Dude Looks Like a Lady: Kellin Quinn has some fairly feminine features, especially when his hair is longer
  • Love Is a Drug: Heroine is about this, playing on the homophones of heroine and heroin
  • Non-Appearing Title: A couple of songs, notably the title track Gossip
  • Ode to Youth: Go Go Go could be seen to qualify
