Keep moments related to the holo-members playing the game to the hololive Funny Moments page.

  • In general, the fact that the hololive members have weapons and powers that could easily kill someone (especially Calliope who is a literal grim reaper, and Suisei who is a well-known Memetic Psychopath), but the fans are considered "knocked out" instead of killed makes the game's subtitle "Save the fans!" all the more hilarious.
  • Some of the flavor text can get amusing once you upgrade a certain item:
    • Breathe-in Type Asacoco: Limited time only for 5000 yen!!!
    • Broken Dreams: The dream is dead and there is no hope. Bubble Shield also slows targets.
    • Elite Cooking: May have severe unknown side effects if consumed.
    • BL Fujoshi: Endless BL, how shameless!
    • Bone Bros.: Don't bite the hand that feeds you if it's holding a knife.
    • Absolute Wall: Summon forth the Great Wall of Hololive.
    • Ring of Fitness: Continuously throw a ring of fitness balls. Hope nobody walks in.
    • Flattening Board: Feel the wrath of cutting boards...!?
    • Holy Fire: Spits flames which contain the strength of 50kg(?)
  • The stamps feature introduced in 0.5 allows customization of the characters' main weapon, typically by adding stats or giving an effect like Life Drain or stun effect. Of course, there are some that are less practical and moreso there for a quick gag:
    • The Reverse Stamp does exactly as advertised, reversing the aim of your main weaponry.note  If you choose to enhance it, the description notes the enhanced effect will reverse the effect of the reverse effect, thereby making it pointless. Enhancing it once again has the reverse effect return, while the description questions how far you intend to go with this nonsense.
    • The RGB Stamp, which colors the afterimages of your main weapon attacks with various colors of the rainbow and no other effect. Attempting to enhance it results in equally nothing, though the following descriptions will naturally question your pointless attempt.
Level 1: Weapon attacks will look pretty. There is no other effect.
Level 2: Nothing happens from leveling this up. What are you expecting it to do, rainbow harder?
Max: Please stop it already has all the colors we can't invent new colors.
    • The Trumpet Stamp, which only adds a trumpet sound effect for each attack from your main weapon, with subsequent levels making the sound louder. For extra fun, try having this sticker with a character prone to More Dakka.
Level 1: Weapon will sound like a trumpet. There is no other effect.
Level 2: Weapon will doot harder.
Max: It will be harmful if this doots any louder.
    • The Weaken Stamp is actually more helpful than the above joke stickers, but being a flower based on Kronii's monotone pronunciation of the word, all of the descriptions end with "Flower."
  • Picking up Halu (which makes the waves harder but gives you bonus coins at the end of your run) and leveling it up to Level 4 will have the description actively question whether you're sure you want to upgrade it that far. Level 5 completely breaks the convention of item descriptions, as instead of actually explaining what the item does, the description reads solely "Don't do it." in ominous red text.
  • Dying with Halu for the first time unlocks the GWSnote  Pill, as if the game is mocking the player's overconfidence.
  • The game alludes to Aqua's weight (44.5) in her HP, being the only case of a decimal point being used in the hit point stat. Aqua's reaction? "FAAQQ!"
  • Kaela's base HP is 69note . When it comes up expect "Nice" to come up (like in the note). Kaela approves.
    Kaela: Perfect HP.
  • No pressure for Kay Yu. Said phrase has become one of Kaela's skill names.
  • The achievement you get for refusing a Super item when it drops is called "Pain Peko".
  • The achievement for achieving 100% Completion on all the other achievements is titled "Get Some Help.", with an icon of grass. Even funnier is that it only gives you 1 coin as a reward.
"Complete all achievements. Then go outside."
    • For an added layer of hilarity, the achievement's name invokes the catchphrase of Kaela, who's infamous for pestering Hololive fangame devs (including Kay Yu) to add more content because she already finished everything.
    • 100% Completion also unlocks the Completionist's Grass cosmetic for the Holo House. One would expect it to cost a bomb to get the Last Lousy Point. How much does it actually cost? 1 coin. Kaela, being the completionist she is, got trolled looking at this item, as she was expecting to have to grind to hell and back to get it. But hey, at least she's finally "touching grass" as the achievement implies!
  • A number of Holo House things are off-center, no doubt driving anyone with OCD nuts. Judging from Kay Yu's response (a cheeky SC) to Calli malding over how the chair being off center with the computer desk, this and spider cooking being off center are likely him trolling players.
  • It turns out Kay's only okay with off-center things when he makes it that way as someone pointed out the character sprite in the tears redeem stream was off-center annoying considerably.
  • One of the Collab weapons, made with Sausage and BL Book, is Legendary Sausage, a giant, Shuba-duck wiener (based on an actual sausage in Sausage Legend) that flails around the character. Now one can imagine the nutty Risu playing her own character which deals with nuts is seen swinging that Legendary Sausage around...
  • The Stolen Piggy Bank is a reference to an incident where Risu stole Moona's piggy bank. If you're playing as Moona, however, the item is renamed "Retrieved Piggy Bank".
    • As a fun bonus, the item itself is extremely useful for Risu, as it basically guarantees that her DLC skill will constantly be activate at all times, and at its full potential. Given the inspiration for the item itself, it's not hard to imagine that the synergy was 100% intentional.
  • One area you can find in Holo House features a group of Nousagis in the middle of constructing the Usada Casino (likely as a teaser for Pekora's playable debut in a future update). One of the Nousagis is weary and begs you to save them as Pekora is working them to death, and another Nousagi can be found collapsed on the ground.
  • A spot behind the Holo House features a group of Takodachis clearly reading something naughty, judging from their expressions. You get an achievement for approaching them, but they won't do anything... unless you're controlling Ina, in which case they promptly freak out and disappear. Exactly what the Takos are looking at is generally agreed by both Holomems and fans to either be 4th Wah (read: NSFW art of Ina) or a picture of Ina's back.
  • The Atlantean Rod is described as an enchanted rod from the lost city of Atlantis, which is yet to be fully built. It's a clear dig at how Gura has been procrastinating on her Atlantis construction in Minecraft.
  • When you fish up sharks, the large retrieval sprite for them has Gura's hairpins. If you have a high-ranked Chumbud for a worker, they might end up eating those sharks for a bout of Irony.
  • Kay Yu's idea for a FuwaMoco build (as he has previously stated that he doesn't want to just copy Haato and Haachama's Swap Fighter gimmick for them):
Kay: Now that it's been a few weeks of learning about them, my current idea for Fuwamoco in HoloCure: You only play as Mococo. There's a half transparent Fuwawa that floats around following you, and all she does is yell commands at you with no other effect (This is 100% a joke)
