  • Recommended by: sodapop7665
  • Status: In Progress
  • Synopsis: After the incident, Mob’s parents are convinced that he is a changeling child. that’s how they explain what happened with the bullies. They should’ve realized earlier with the psychic powers, in hindsight everything makes sense. They decide to leave their eldest son in the woods, to give him back to the faeries, with Ritsu to look after they don’t need his big all-seeing eyes and monstrous powers. Things will be better, they probably won’t get their human child back, not this late. They’ve likely been raising this imposter for a decade. Mrs. Kageyama wasn’t sure exactly why the fae took human children. There were stories the best she could hope was that he was being raised by a loving family in the faerie world. But this changeling, it was clear he could not survive in the human one. So he was left in the woods, he would be better of with his own kind.

  • Synopsis: “Rumour has it that something impossible’s happened. Something that could never have happened. That shouldn’t have been able to happen.” In a single slick move Mezato produces a tiny voice recorder from an inside pocket, flips it open and active, and holds it up before Mob’s mouth to ask him, in a tone of devastating intensity: “Do you know anything about… a miracle, Mob-kun?”
Mob doesn’t hesitate. “We had maths homework to hand in,” he says. “But now we don’t have to. We don’t even have to go to the lesson.”

The kid who played with toy cars and insisted on painting his bedroom walls a peachy pink and cried when he tripped and scraped his knee, who would tie towels around his shoulders like a cape and crush pop cans across the front yard from him. That boy was someone Shou refused to know. He hated him like no other. Too bad the spirit on his shoulder keeps digging into that part of his brain. Shou hates thinking of or considering his childhood, especially hates to think of himself as a kid now. The spirit of a small child latches onto him and forces Shou to look back again.

let’s get you off that pedestal - it’s warmer down here by dissatisfied starlight (facelesshellion)

  • Crossover With: Harry Potter
  • Recommended by: GalaxyMilkyWay
  • Status: Dead; last updated April 2019
  • Synopsis: He’s clearly exhausted, and his clothes are ill-fitting and draped over his skeletal frame, but otherwise, he seems innocuous and kind. He’s been unfailingly polite despite his obvious desperation and didn’t flinch when Reigen explained the pricing system.

If it weren’t for the fact he was claiming to be a wizard being haunted by his (also a wizard) arch-nemesis, Reigen would’ve given the kid a discount. That’s how much he feels for him. He’s clearly got some shit to work through, what with the way he keeps jumping at every sound outside.

“Mr. Potter,” Reigen says carefully. “Let me make sure I have this straight.”“Sure.”

“You - a wizard - were involved in a prophecy. Dangerous things, prophecies are,” he adds conspiratorially.

Awkwardly, Potter says, “I’ve only ever known the one, so I can’t say much. But it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.”

Cousins by umisabaku

  • Status: Complete
  • Crossover: Haikyuu!!
  • Synopsis: Kageyama tells Kurosuno that his cousins are psychic.
  • Comments: This is a extremely unlikely crossover and it was handled fantastically well. They were all in character and Kageyama telling the team that his cousin's psychic goes just about the way you would expect it to.

  • Crossover: Naruto
  • Synopsis: In which Reigen teleports, improvs and accidentally takes over a small nation.
  • Comments: This is a absolutely hilarious fic about Reigen being transported to the Land of the Waves, and accidentally takes it over. Includes lots and lots of misunderstandings, hijinks, and of course, Reigen's unbelievably persuasive silver tongue.

"A God Walked Into the Office" and Other Bad Jokes by oatmealcrisp

  • Status: Ongoing
  • Crossover The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
  • Sypnosis: After the whole kerfuffle with Claw, Reigen and Mob expected things to settle down a little bit. Their expectations crash and burn when a certain someone shows up at Spirits and Such Consulting to demand Reigen train him, too!
Cue all the hijinks and heartwarming you could ever ask for.

Or not.

  • Comments: It’s funny, it’s well written, and it will absolutely punch you in the metaphorical gut with feels. Mob and Saiki’s friendship is so cute, and there’s even art included. It’s one of my favorite fics and oatmealcrisp is great at capturing the characters personalities.
