Go To

Class 1-A and 1-B find themselves captured and sent to a new world after being attacked by a group of supervillains. Now they'll have to work together to return to their home universe.

My Hero Academia - Into the Marvelverse (AO3 Link) is a crossover between the Marvel Universe and My Hero Academia by ShadowNinja77.

My Hero Academia - Into the Marvelverse contains the following examples:

  • Actually Pretty Funny: When Bakugou learns that Count Nefaria is planning to use Aoyama as a glorified disco ball for his night club, he actually snorts in amusement despite the situation.
  • Badass Normal: Bullseye takes part in the abduction of the Class 1-A students, where he almost kills Aizawa. He even gets annoyed when people say his skills are actually superpowers (or, in this case, quirks). Earlier, Taskmaster managed to subdue both Bakugou and Kirishima.
  • Battle Couple: Absorbing Man and Titania are this.
  • Beyond the Impossible: Midoriya's reaction to seeing the Absorbing Man utilizing One for All at 100% and not getting torn to shred like All Might said would happen. Afterwards, Creel states that he's absorbed powers from Thor, the Hulk, and even Odin so One for All is nothing he could not handle.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: The Power Broker's customers are:
    • Doctor Octopus has Iida, Shoji, Mineta, and Kamakiri. Doc Ock shows special interest in Iidas' engines seeing it as a way to improve his arms.
    • M.O.D.O.K. and A.I.M. have Jirou, Mina, Kaminari, and Kaibara. M.O.D.O.K. plans to utilize the abilities of Jirou, Mina, and Kaibara for A.I.M.'s Adaptoids and use Kaminari as a power source.
    • Simon Krieger and Roxxon have Yaoyorozu, Kodai, Sato, and Tetsutetsu wanting to exploit their powers.
    • The Kingpin has Kirishima, Ojiro, and Kendo. Fisk plans to restart the Superhuman Registration Act after learning how the MHA Heroes operate, believing it will provide him the means to control the heroes of NY.
    • Baron Zemo and his HYDRA wing purchased Uraraka, Pony, Asui, and Rin, and are nearly killed in a scuffle with Madem Viper's HYDRA wing. However, they're rescued by both Captain Americas (Steve and Sam) alongside Sharon Carter.
    • The High Evolutionary has Todoroki, Tokage, Hagakure, Koji, and Komori wanting to study their abilities.
    • Count Nefaria has Bakugou, Aoyama, and Shinshada. He has Bakugou and Shinshada as fighters for an underground fight ring and plans to have Aoyama as a disco ball for a night club he plans to make.
    • Doctor Doom has Midoriya, Sero, Tokoyami, Shiozaki, and Honenuki. Doom wishes to test their abilities and see what use they could be to him
  • Big Damn Heroes: Uraraka, Tsuyu, and Rin are rescued by both Captain Americas.
  • Boxed Crook: The Thunderbolts appear in this story and are forced to team up with Kirishima, Ojiro, and Kendo as part of Kingpin's plan.
  • Corrupt Politician: The Kingpin is the mayor of New York City and controls the city's legal and illegal activities.
  • Curb Stomp Cushion: The students and teachers of 1-A put up a good fight against the Marvel villains, but are still defeated.
  • The Dreaded: The Power Broker fears only one of his customers: Doctor Doom.
  • Enemy Civil War: HYDRA is mentioned to be in a power struggle with the biggest players being Baron Zemo and the Red Skull. However, the weaker factions with one being led by Madame Viper are willing to take advantage of the chaos.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: The mysterious Power Broker is responsible for taking Class 1-A, some of 1-B, and other Pro Heroes.
  • Happily Married: Peter and MJ are married in this continuity and even have a baby daughter: Mayday.
  • Kidnapped for Experimentation: Essentially the reason why 5 out of the 8 supervillains have abducted the students.
  • No Honor Among Thieves: Finding her quirk to be advantageous M.O.D.O.K. plans to take Momo from Roxxon. At the same time, Krieger plans on taking Kaminari from A.I.M. All the while, Baron Zemo intends to take the students from both of them.
  • Outside-Context Problem: The students of UA are shocked to learn that the multiverse is real. As well as, the differing properties it has such as Adamantium.
  • Realism-Induced Horror: With all of the superpowers and multiverse discussion, it's still chilling to read about 32 high school students being abducted by dangerous criminals from their homes where they are bought by an absolute monarch, two crimelords, terrorists, a corrupt executive, and mad scientists. Izuku even imagines a terrifying and heartbreaking scenario of never coming back home involving his mother and All-Might.
  • Shared Identity: Both Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson are Captain America.
  • Skewed Priorities: Monomoa is outraged that the villains only came to steal Class 1-A originally. Naturally, Tetsutetsu is angered by his response.
  • Tempting Fate: In Chapter 2, Bakugou boasts he's not going to be kidnapped amidst the hero abductions. The next scene shows the Marvel villains planning their extraction.
  • Trapped in Another World: Essentially the plot of the story, the students are abducted from their world by Marvel supervillains.
  • Ultimate Universe: The Marvel Universe in this story appears to be a mishmash of sorts, mostly utilizing 616. However, certain aspects, such as Mary Jane Watson being a reporter instead of a model/actress, come from the Insomniac series.
