José Doval (born March 17, 1965 in Paris), better known as José Garcia, is a French-Spanish actor and occasional voice actor.
Born from Galician parents who moved to France in the 1950s, he made a name for himself alongside Antoine de Caunes in the Talk Show Nulle Part Ailleurs on the Canal+ channel. He then came to prominence with his supporting role as buffoonish "get rich quick" schemer Serge Benamou in La Vérité si je mens! in 1997, which earned him a nomination at the César Award for Most Promising Actor and spawned a film series. He's played in a large number of comedies in main or supporting roles since, with the occasional more dramatic role such as in Costa-Gavras' The Axe
He's also done some voice acting in animation, such as the French dubs of Mushu in Mulan, Tulio in The Road to El Dorado, Alex the Lion in Madagascar and Bruno Madrigal in Encanto.
He was married with actress and director Isabelle Doval from 1993 to 2021.
