Once just plain cardboard, the Bears' Box was empowered by a magical shooting star, gaining a mind of its own and the ability to warp between realities.
- Animate Inanimate Object: Downplayed at first. Box could initially only teleport and fly on the Bears' command. The Anthropomorphic Transformation in Season 2 allows Box to fully move on their own.
- Anthropomorphic Transformation: At the start of Season 2, the Bears feel bad about Box's inability to join them in activities and summon a genie to make a wish that "Box could experience life the same way we do" resulting in one of these.
- "It" Is Dehumanizing: Box was originally called "It" but became "they/them" post Anthropomorphic Transformation.
A fox with a French accent who would go beyond reason to please her daughter, Madeline, by capturing Panda, whom the latter has an unhealthy obsession with.
- Cunning Like a Fox: Her name "malin" means malignant, smart, cunning, sly, mischievous, crafty, and sharp. She and Madeline disguise themselves as Panda's impostor family in "Panda's Family" in an attempt to convince Panda to leave his brothers for his "panda" family.
- Doting Parent: Of a sinister variant; she is ready to do whatever it takes to catch Panda for her daughter Madeline, and the one time they have a disagreement, she still shows her affection for Madeline.
- Meaningful Name: "Malin" translates in French as malignant, smart, cunning, sly, mischievous, crafty, and sharp; all of which are traits commonly found in storybook portrayals of foxes.
- Serious Business: Fashion contests are a good way to catch her attention. Her third appearance has her prioritizing a fashion contest over capturing Panda. This makes her mistreat Madeline, who doesn't want to participate in the first place. Despite everything that happens, though, Malin quickly comes to Madeline's side when she once again fails to obtain Panda.
Madame Malin’s daughter is a smaller fox with the social media handle “@lil__Faux7”. Madeline is possessive and fixated with Panda.
- Eyes Always Shut: She's mostly seen with her eyes closed, a trait commonly seen in fictional depictions of foxes. When she opens them, they're a bit bloodshot, which shows her obsession with Panda.
- Hidden Depths: She reveals that she likes to play the accordion in her third appearance.
- Spoiled Brat: She is used to her mother giving her everything she wants. She throws tantrums when her demands are not met, such as Panda refusing to be with her.
- Yandere: She wants Panda all to herself, and will do whatever it takes to keep him.
A lone pirate parrot whose unfettered ways caused their crew to mutiny. They take the Bears in as a new crew and indoctrinate Grizzly into their quest for the treasure.
- Pirate Parrot: Is a parrot but also the pirate captain rather than a pet.
- The Unfettered: The reason their previous crew mutinied was because of their putting the treasure above all else.
An otter who, accordant to his name, squats in houses the Bears travel to. He befriends the babies but is usually not a good influence.
- Coat Full of Contraband: His Establishing Character Moment is offering medical supplies in his trench-coat to the Bears. He can also glide on air currents with it.
- Lovable Rogue: He's an unrepentant squatter who trespasses in other people's houses for a living, but he's also a pretty chill guy.
- Playful Otter: It's his Species Surname and he considers the Bears as his friends despite his bad influence on them.
A young unicorn girl who's tasked with protecting the forest the bears land in in "Unica". She's very reluctant to accept help from anyone.
- Hair Colors: Unica has purple hair.
- Half-Breed Angst: Unica is half donkey and half unicorn, and "The Parade" is about her inability to choose between which side of her heritage to honor during a celebration of heritage.
- I Work Alone: Unica is very reluctant to accept help from others. It's only when she finally does that she's able to regrow the whole forest.
A genie who was trapped in a lamp and forced to grant wishes. He’s freed by the Bears after they make their box come to life but was it a good idea?
- The Dog Bites Back: He’s thinks he's doing by creating chaos for the people he was forced to help but is really just being a jerk.
- Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Sure being trapped in a lamp and being forced to grant people their wishes would make anyone cranky but as Box points out, just because he was mistreated doesn’t mean she should take his anger out on others (Which includes the Bears who freed him by the way.)
- Heel Realization: Has one after being defeated as he decides to fix the mess he’s made and use his powers for good.
- Ungrateful Bastard: The Bears free him from his prison after Box comes to life. He thanks them by manipulating Box to commit crimes and even tries to trap them at the climax.
- Villain Has a Point: Chaotic motives aside, Genie isn’t wrong that Box is seen as a servant to the Bears.
