Let's Ramble With Rae

    Rae
  • The Leader: Rae frequently calls her Let's Plays "The Rae Show," usually whenever her authority is questioned.
Peyton: We are always as slaves!

    Peyton

    Taylor
  • Straight Man: The fan appointed voice of reason, according to Rae.
  • The Big Girl: Taylor only in the size sense, with being a Gorilla, though she is weight sensitive.

Fallout: New Vegas

    Queen Latifah
Rae's character in Lets Ramble Over Fallout New Vegas
  • Bad Ass Boast: After going though several Trauma Conga Lines, countless raiders, every monster from laser wielding skeleton astronauts to Cazdors , The Siera Madre and Old World Blues arcs, and losing three companions, Rainbow makes it clear that the Vangraffs, should not have tried to kill her newest companion or think they could take her on.
  • Butt-Monkey: The Mojave has not been kind to her.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: In the Fallout Let's Plays, she often goes on tangents wondering how the societies of The Mojave Wasteland work... Including raiders and Ghost People "societies".
Rainbow Dash (Queen Latifa): I wonder if raiders teach their children their culture of hiding behind billboards and firing wildly into the air, whenever someone walks by.
  • Ditzy Genius: She constantly points out Fridge Logic, note Fridge Horror, note Artistic License(es),note Uncanny Valley moments, Suicidal Over Confidence, note and just poor/irresponsible/suicidal decisions made by non-player characters and various factionsnote , as well as speculating on more practical, if sometimes eccentric alternatives.
  • Drowning My Sorrows: After Lilly, her companion and main defense for the majority of the game dies. This leads to her stumbling into a certain research area...
  • He Who Fights Monsters: A recurring fear of her's later in the game she wonders if this might be how you start, before becoming a "billboard raider".
  • Took a Level in Badass: She goes from just a scared and helpless player, who instantly panics at the first sign of trouble, to just hocking mines and explosives if she can not sneak past/hide from an enemy, to actually wanting to hurt enemies, after a particularly bad Break the Cutie moment, and near the end of the game, she could curbstomp, pretty much anything.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: After Rex and Veronica die, she becomes more open to violence and other vices.

MechWarrior 4

    Queen Rae Dodson

    Private Peyton
  • Action Girl: Peyton's probably the most willing of Rae's company to go into battle.
  • Ax-Crazy: She has her moments.
Jorden OK, new rule. No one is allowed to use the coms to cackle and laugh over the deaths of their enemies.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Some of her monologues tend to indicate she's rather unhinged (such as the quote for the trope below).
    • Heroic Comedic Sociopath: Exchanges like this wouldn't happen if she weren't:
Jordan: I'm showing two Cougars, east flank. Bring 'em down, Regal Lance!
Peyton: Aww! The childrens are coming home, but Peyton has replaced your parents! [maniacally laughs] Yes!
  • Hidden Depths: Occasionally shows there is more to her then it seems.
  • No Kill like Overkill: She really loves her gauss rifles, even if the ammo costs more per shot than what her whole mech is worth on the black market.
  • Third-Person Person: Can get like this at times during the heat of battle.

    Private Sydney
  • Apologizes a Lot: She's the MechWarrior equivalent of Mentally Advanced's Fluttershy, including a low self-confidence.
  • Reluctant Warrior: All she wanted to be was a medic, but someone signed her up to pilot a Shadowcat, and the rest is history.
  • Unluckily Lucky: How Sydney survives some of her missions is a mystery to her fellow soldiers, to say the least.
  • The Woobie: The last thing she wanted was to be a combatant, and yet she's constantly deployed on the frontlines.

    Commander Jordan
  • Straight Woman: Comes with the territory of running a largely guerilla force.

    Comms Officer Tito
  • Ambiguous Gender: Whether Tito is a man or a woman matters not to Tito:
Rae: So, Tito, [hesitantly] are you... are you a boy or a girl?
Tito: It's all the same to me, señor.
  • Communications Officer: Oversees the communications between the rest of the company.

    Sgt. Dies
  • Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Instead of dying at the enemy's hands, it turns out they were tortured into compliance, and end up fighting against Rae's forces.

    Col. Aaren Jackson
  • Colonel Badass: They're an actual colonel with far more wartime experience than Rae herself.

    Triple Vault Leader

    Comms Officer 413- 67

    Rowen Cox

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

    Kaybe the Skyrim Dragon Boxer
  • The Chosen One: At least three or four times in one month.
  • The Nicknamer: Lydia is always "Thane Slave", as befitting Kaybe's interpretation of her station. Another character is often called "Skooma Cat".
