    Shuji Mihara

Shuji Mihara/Kamen Rider Delta (IV)

Portrayed by: Atsushi Harada (live), Yoshifumi Oshikawa (suit)
The primary user of the Delta Gear.

* Brought to You by the Letter "S": The Delta Gear has its own Delta symbol on it.
  • The Call Knows Where You Live: After getting the Delta gear, Smart Brain starts tracking his movements to get the belt back.
  • Character Tic: All his Rider Kicks are Bicycle Kicks.
  • Finishing Move: Lucifer's Hammer
  • Friend to All Children: Having been an orphan once, he and Rina work at an orphanage, wanting to care for the children with no parents.
  • Handguns: Delta Blaster.
  • I Just Want to Be Normal: Which is why he is the perfect user for the Delta belt: he is one of the few that it's power didn't corrupt.
  • Killed Offscreen: He doesn't show up in The Movie for this reason. The explanation comes in the prequel story Lost World (from S.I.C. Hero Saga), where Kusaka throws him to the Rose Orphnoch because he's (wrongly) convinced that Mihara was putting the moves on Mari.
  • Lovable Coward: At first he doesn't really care about fighting the Orphnochs and just wants to go back to living a normal life. He got better.
  • The McCoy: The most angsty of the three Riders.
  • Refusal of the Call: Even before he got the Delta belt, he actively tried to ignore the weirdness going around him. Subverted later on, when he FINALLY realizes that he has the responsibility to fight for others.
  • Ship Tease: He has some with Rina.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: As the Delta user, he has the most power. But has no idea how to fight, nor does he want to.
    Rina Abe

Rina Abe

Portrayed by: Rie Kasai

  • Faux Action Girl: Became Delta for a short period of time in episode 39 but was unsuccesful at combat.
  • Friend to All Children: Having been an orphan once, she and Mihara work at an orphanage, wanting to care for the children with no parents.
  • Ship Tease: Has some with Mihara.

Hanagata/Goat Orphnoch

Portrayed by: Koji Naka (live), Makoto Ito (suit)
The foster father of Ryusel School, former chief of Smart Brain, and the creator of the three Rider belts.
  • Big Good: Helped contributed kickstarting some of the events while also being a social father figure to most of the main cast, wanting to prepare them for the final battle.
  • Honest Corporate Executive: Founded Smart Brain in purpose to further evolve the mankind for the better.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Assigned Kiba to be the new chief of Smart Brain, unaware of the latter's personality change at the time.
  • Superpower Meltdown: Died due to the rapid evolution in his body.
  • Team Dad: For the Ryusel School members, even attempting to stop Masato from transforming to save him.
  • Token Good Teammate: For all of Smart Brain.
    Saya Kimura

Saya Kimura/Kamen Rider Delta (I)

Portrayed by: Mai Saito
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Quite a gentle person, yet was the Delta user who instilled fear onto Takuma.
  • Faux Action Girl: Zig-zagged. Saya was quite a capable fighter as Delta and didn't get corrupted by its power as two of her other schoolmates had, but due to falling ill because of the strain of suppressing the belt's influence and Orphnoch DNA, she was easily killed by Sawada before she could transform.
  • Secret Test of Character: Waited to see what kind of person Takumi was before deciding to hand over the Delta Gear to him.
