Video Game

  • Trysail's "Kakawari", the opening theme of the game. Bonus points that the members of Trysail also voiced three of the main characters: Iroha Tamaki, Yachiyo Nanami, and Tsuruno Yui.
  • "Infinite Battle", the upbeat music which plays in the Mirrors as well as in some battle stages featuring uwasa. This is the first game-original music to feature in the main story.
  • "Remain" is a melancholy piano tune most often associated with the My Diary With You event, though it also plays during various other Tearjerker moments in the game.
  • The eponymous "Wings of Magius" theme kicks in with a sinister intro which is later accompanied by a fast paced beat.
  • "Creation" is the alternate Magius theme which is often used as the boss battle theme for the Amane sisters. This music accompanied by the boss battle with the Amanes gives the impression on how a threat are the Amane sisters.
  • "Intermediate" is the slow and epic music which plays in the Mirrors interface. With the music's occasional chimes this music suggest the theme of a magical girl's hidden potential or may evoke the mystery behind the mirror witch.
  • "Sunshine of the Mind" is the main theme of the See You Tommorow event. This slow, mellow, but kinda cheerful music perfectly fits with the calm before the storm moment faced by Seika, Mito, and Leila in the event.
  • "Credens Justitiam" plays whenever Holy Mami appeared in the Christmas at Mikazuki Villa event. Though one of the "recycled" music from the main series, viewers are reminded of the hopeful vibe embodied in this nostalgic music. This goes well with Mami's Moments of Awesome of doing random acts of kindness this Holiday season.
  • "Welcome to Mirrors", the Challenge Battle music introduced in the My Diary With You event which becomes a mainstay Challenge Battle theme after the event.
  • The battle themes of The Maiden of Hope event, both "Battle Fields", the regular battle theme, and "The Crow", Corbeau's battle theme, have a heavy orchestral tone on them, showing the difference in era between the heroes and their surrounding.
  • "Awaken", the rousing theme of Kanagi Izumi.
  • "Place to Hunt", a battle theme that's uplifting and catchy.
  • "Calculated Future", a soaring, triumphant theme perfect for the climactic battle against Touka in Chapter 9.
  • "Magical Artist", the battle theme of Holy Alina in Chapter 10, is both menacing and insanely catchy.
  • "Reunion", the theme song of Embryo Eve that plays at the very end of Chapter 9 and throughout Chapter 10. The ominous orchestra and chorus wouldn't sound out of place in a Dark Souls game.
  • "Battle Bell", the battle theme that plays during the Cross Connection event, as well as during the final assault on Holy Mami and her forces in Chapter 8 of the Main Story.
  • "Signal", the opening for game's interim Arc, is the first time we hear ClariS in Madoka Magica series after a long time.
  • "Exceed Breaker", the battle theme from the Magia Clash event, despite being recycled music from the Detonation movie, is suitably epic.
  • "Utsuroi", the opening for the game's Arc 2, gives show to the intense magical girl clans' war that is the backdrop of the story arc.
  • "Dance in the War", the Tokime Clan battle theme, is a powerful, rousing piece with traditional instruments displaying the might and ancient dignity of the Tokime.

Anime

  • La gis sulva za Celow, a pumped up witch battle theme from the anime, is comparable to the classics. Could be mistaken for the work of Kaijiura Yuki, who worked on the original series, though Takumi Ozawa mostly provided the soundtrack this time.
  • She Insisted is a calm theme that nonetheless seems to hint that while everything seems perfect, something is just a little off and maybe you should go investigate.
  • "Pointo Juubai", first appeared in the live stage adaptation and redubbed by Yachiyo's voice actress, is the jingle used in Episode 4 when Yachiyo almost misses a limited time sale. The fact that they made an effort to compose an earworm-inducing jingle which could theoretically work in real life just for the scene is commendable.
  • Wings of Magius once again evokes Kajiura's work. It's reminiscent of a marching beat to underscore the control that the titular group holds over its members.
  • Mizuna Hiren Densetsu is a serene yet mysterious-sounding theme that plays while Yachiyo tells Iroha and Tsuruno the legend that the Uwasa of the Commoner's Horse was created from.
  • Witches' Dance is a catchy, upbeat dance mix that shows just how weird familiars can be when left to their own devices.
  • Gekkasakuya is the Amane Twins' battle theme, mixing the Magius theme's strings with some riffs on a flute and a fast-paced beat to show that these two are not to be trifled with.
  • Excited Beat is the witch battle theme for the second half of the season. It's much more desperate-sounding than the other battle themes, being more evocative of uphill or even one-sided battles. Appropriately, it's used as the score for the fights against Raspberry and Alina Grey's small horde of Teresas.
  • The angry and oppressive-sounding Doppel themes, Dang Gong and DOPPEL, emphasize just how dangerous it is to use a power that literally brings out the worst in oneself and how much of a tightrope walk it is to control one's own emotions in that state instead of vice versa.
  • Rumor Theater is a catchy yet mysterious instrumental take on Mini-Kyubey's Uwasa rhyme.
  • Alina's theme, Amazing Artist, is an upbeat track that absolutely drips contempt. It's perfect for such an utterly narcissistic character.
  • Collapso da Arte plays when the machine used to create the Uwasa of the Anonymous AI goes into overdrive and starts wreaking havoc, and, appropriately, it sounds like the soundtrack to a natural disaster.
  • Chica se Lamenta is an eerie combination of Lonely Piano Piece and One-Woman Wail that perfectly captures the mystery and danger of chasing urban legends in a world where all the rumors are true.
  • Museo della Memoria is a menacing piece that makes for good ambiance to the Memory Museum.
  • Santa Salvacion, a menacing theme perfectly suited for the duel against Holy Mami in Episode 13.
  • Locura is the theme for the second half of the fight against Holy Mami as well as the flashback to Kanae's Mutual Kill against a witch and sounds as urgent as either of those situations imply.
  • Nigredo, the chilling ED for Episode 13, has been rightfully compared to the original anime's Magia.
