As a Moments page, all spoilers are off. You Have Been Warned.

The ruthless world of piracy is, predictably, a World of Badass, where you'll be hard-pressed to find any regular who hasn't done anything awesome.

General

  • Most of the "A Terrible Beast" quests require the players to take on increasingly dangerous, modded mobs. Among them, the Warped Mosco stands out as the most dangerous, with health equal to that of a Ravager and both close-up and ranged attacks, and is nigh-impossible to beat without dying. The fact that multiple players have taken down the "Moth Man" on various occasions is, depending on the instance, a testament to their teamwork and/or tenacity.

Chapter 1: Days 1–36

  • Day 20: Water proposing to and subsequently getting engaged to Jeffery.
  • Day 22: Overlaps with Funny; Apo stealing Acho's apple chair from the Nighting-ale brewery and hiding it at the top of the Nightingale tavern mast.
  • Day 36:
    • Crossing over into Funny, Sausage "water-skiing" on the back of boats using a lasso.
    • Michela freeing Ivy. While she does this against almost everyone else's warnings, in retrospect, her doing so being crucial to the cast being able to earn their bittersweet ending makes this more awesome than initially anticipated.

Chapter 2: Days 36–77

  • On Day 43, Martyn sets out on the "FortressFury" quest alone. Despite copious warnings from some of his boot rats that it would be incredibly difficult and dangerous, he doesn't just solo the Fortress, but manages to take on the Vengeful Spirit boss and win. What makes this even more awesome is when he's pit in comparison with everyone else who has taken on the quest by that point: Acho was the first to take the quest but bailed before the boss battle; then Owen, Scott, and Water (later joined by Acho again) make it to the boss battle with occasional casualties but don't beat it in the time limit. Martyn manages to solo the entire thing within the time limit without dying once, albeit having to pop a totem near the end, and is the first person to actually complete the Fortress fight. The cherry on top is that he ends up making bank from this, getting over 5,000 gold from the quest alone. Several other players will go on to accomplish this as well, later in the series, but Martyn was the first of many.
  • The rescue mission on Day 76 is rife full of these:
    • Acho getting the first kill on a Cultist by sniping them from the top of the amethyst cavern.
    • The kidnapped pirates decide to initiate their own impromptu plan to save themselves, with Owen having secretly gathered "rope" to give everyone a way to climb up the moment the Cultist guard isn't in sight, and when the guard returns, Scott stabs them to death with a kitchen knife he found while imprisoned.

Chapter 3: Days 77–112

  • On Day 93, Owen tests out his slot machine at the Snapdragon and manages to hit the jackpot first try. What makes this awesome is that there's only a 0.03% (i.e. 3 in 10,000) chance of winning the top prize; by the time the admins are checking on the progress out-of-universe, the casino's bank account is 14,340 gold in debt.
  • On Day 99, after several attempts and many potions, Shep manages to solo a Fortress… using only pumpkin pies as weapons.
  • On Day 101, Owen tames a tiger from a "Terrible Beast" quest and brings her to guard the Snapdragon casino.

Chapter 4: Days 112–134

  • While no one else witnesses her kidnapping, Bek gets dragged off to Iris' palace by a couple of Cultists… but just as they get off the ship, Bek kills both of her captors, all while lugging Dai, a stone statue, around with her in one hand. She then enters the palace and tries to kill Iris, an extremely old and powerful sorceress, on sight by throwing her dagger at her. While this fails and ends in her death by petrification, it's a solid attempt and one heck of a way to go out.
  • On Day 126, after Kuervo falls asleep while held captive in the amethyst cave, he's next seen blearily trying to break out of a cage… with a petrification beam directly zapping at him. As the scene cuts to black for an extended period of time… Kuervo wakes up again, this time in the small hut outside the amethyst pit. Then he shoots the Cultist threatening to trap him again with a pistol he finds, steals their ship, and sails back to the Faction Isles. To repeat, Kuervo survives a petrification attempt, and escapes with nothing but his wits and skill.
  • Day 134, the series finale, has several:
    • Kuervo manages to get another one, this time in a pre-series flashback: after finding out he was dining with those who sent his Cool Big Bro to his death, he proceeds to murder eight out of ten of Naya's Armada commanders in their sleep in revenge, only stopping after being severely injured trying to kill the ninth, then blowing up the ship in the face of a slow and painful death. He was 16 at the time.
    • A behind-the-scenes one goes to cc!Acho for playing the "Insane Cultist" leader Ohca in the battle on the Faction Isles; being one of three Cultist characters to appear in the battle proper (albeit with respawning), he manages to go on a murder rampage while up against 16 players (all livestream POV creator-characters and MrMadSpy as Saffrie) and manages to narrowly avoid certain death on many occasions through pure PVP skill and tactics. The only reason the Cultist even loses the fight is due to their gold sword breaking.
    • Cruppy using TNT to blow up the cage imprisoning Ivy.
    • Even the stream chats get one at the climax; when Audience Participation is called upon to vote for who the pirates should side with and fight against, the viewers manage to pull through by voting to stand with Ivy and fight Iris. It is with this decision that the pirates are able to fight to live free from both the Church and the Corruption; Earn Your Happy Ending doesn't just apply to the pirates, but to Chat as well.
cc!Sausage: (to Chat) You guys picked the right decision. Thank you for saving our lives.
    • Scott's decision to leave the Faction Isles in Acho's memory at the end of the series. While it's unconfirmed if he knows the true extent of how terrible their parents are, the fact he chooses to leave, with the explicit intention of getting away from their parents, is an important step onto the path of healing from the past.
