* Most of the "A Terrible Beast" quests require the players to take on increasingly dangerous, modded mobs. Among them, the Warped Mosco stands out as the most dangerous, with health equal to that of a Ravager and both close-up and ranged attacks, and is nigh-impossible to beat without dying. The fact that ''multiple'' players have taken down the "Moth Man" on various occasions is, depending on the instance, a testament to their teamwork and/or tenacity.

* While no one else witnesses her kidnapping, Bek gets dragged off to Iris' palace by a couple of Cultists... but just as they get off the ship, Bek [[DefiantCaptive kills]] ''both'' of her captors, all while lugging Dai, a stone statue, around with her in one hand. While this fails and [[DoNotTauntCthulhu ends in her death by petrification]], it's a solid attempt and her effort is admirable nonetheless.

** Even ''the stream chats'' get one at the climax; when AudienceParticipation is called upon to vote for who the pirates should side with and fight against, the viewers manage to pull through by voting to stand with Ivy and fight Iris. It is with this decision that the pirates are able to fight to live free from both the Church and the Corruption; EarnYourHappyEnding doesn't just apply to the pirates, but to chat as well.

** Scott's decision to [[StartingANewLife leave the Faction Isles in Acho's memory]] at the end of the series. While it's unconfirmed if he knows the true extent of how terrible their parents are, the fact he chooses to leave, with the explicit intention of getting away from their parents, is an important step onto the path of healing from the past.

[[folder:Chapter 2: Days [=36–77=]]]
* On Day 43, Martyn sets out on the "[=FortressFury=]" quest alone. Despite copious warnings from some of his boot rats that it would be incredibly difficult and dangerous, he doesn't just ''solo'' the Fortress, but manages to take on the Vengeful Spirit boss and ''win''. What makes this even ''more'' awesome is when he's pit in comparison with everyone else who has taken on the quest by that point: Acho was the first to take the quest but bailed before the boss battle; then Owen, Scott, and Water (later joined by Acho again) make it to the boss battle with occasional casualties but don't beat it in the time limit. Martyn manages to solo the entire thing within the time limit without dying once, albeit having to pop a totem near the end, and is the first person to actually ''complete'' the Fortress fight. The cherry on top is that he ends up making ''bank'' from this, getting over '''''5,000 gold''''' from the quest alone. Several other players will go on to accomplish this as well, later in the series, but Martyn was the first of many.
* The rescue mission on Day 76 is rife full of these:
** Acho getting the first kill on a Cultist by sniping them from the top of the amethyst cavern.
** The kidnapped pirates decide to initiate their own impromptu plan to save themselves, with Owen having secretly gathered "[[RapidHairGrowth rope]]" to give everyone a way to climb up the moment the Cultist guard isn't in sight, and when the guard returns, Scott stabs them to death with a kitchen knife he found while imprisoned.

[[folder:Chapter 3: Days [=77–112=]]]
* On Day 93, Owen tests out his slot machine at the Snapdragon and manages to hit the jackpot first try. What makes this ''awesome'' is that there's only a 0.03% (i.e. 3 in 10,000) chance of winning the top prize; by the time the admins are checking on the progress out-of-universe, the ''casino's'' bank account is ''14,340'' gold in debt.
* On Day 99, after [[SelfImposedChallenge several attempts]] and many potions, Shep manages to solo a Fortress… using only ''[[EdibleBludgeon pumpkin pies]]'' as weapons.

While this fails and [[DoNotTauntCthulhu ends in her death by petrification]], it's a solid attempt and her effort is admirable nonetheless.
* On Day 126, after Kuervo falls asleep while held captive in the amethyst cave, he's next seen blearily trying to break out of a cage… [[NightmareFuel with a petrification beam directly zapping at him]]. As the scene cuts to black for an extended period of time… Kuervo wakes up again, this time in the small hut ''outside'' the amethyst pit. Then he shoots the Cultist threatening to trap him again with a pistol he finds, steals their ship, and sails back to the Faction Isles. To repeat, Kuervo ''survives a petrification attempt'', and escapes with nothing but his wits and skill.
