This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

* AmbulanceChaser: The term is an insult as used in real life, and the RL section is plagued by {{Natter}}.
* PuttingOnTheReich: The trope is about using uniform designs as a shorthand for "evil group". Not only is the wiki not for calling real life people evil, but most real life people don't go "hey, let's make it obvious we're evil".

It's commented out instead of just removed; Eddie noted in the history that it'll be re-locked once the examples are cleaned up. If there's not a thread in Short Term Projects for it, there needs to be one.

In the Final Fantasy VII character sheet, Hellish Pupils is listed twice in Sephiroth's section. Also, Humanoid Abomination is being redefined, so he no longer qualifies. Hijacking Cthulhu fits better in his case.
Can I suggest two edits for the Complete Monster page. For the Literature page, Straff should be replaced by the example below.

He is utterly okay with systematically abusing both of his children to force them to conform to his standards. I removed the Plagiarism example from Sonichu. It has no other work wicks, so clearly it's not intended to be used as a trope, and as written it comes across as a mean-spirited Take That! to the author.
