What do you want, then, ~Septimus? A crowner on if Weird Moon should be made a supertrope? I thought we were in general agreement on that, but the three active posters in this thread didn't have a consensus on which tropes belonged as subtropes to "the moon behaves oddly" concept.

Yeah, that was why. Artsy Moon doesn't have a clear meaning right now, which is why it was sent to TRS to begin with. Why declare the term to be a subtrope when it doesn't have a clear meaning?

Note that despite its name, Bad Moon Rising is not about moons per se, but about any portentuous celestial body (the most common example being a red comet).
Note also that Blue Moon is in TRS now.

I find those tropes rather different, since the Moon Rabbit trope is a lot about actual rabbits from the moon, rather than the moon itself having the shape of a rabbit.

Clarifying question request: Examples of Lunacy where the moon clearly has supernatural influence over events on the planet, would those still count as Wierd Moon? Would the tropes overlap there?

Three pages, and I'm having a hard time seeing exactly what the misuse was the begin with. But what do I know?
Calling crowner in favour of The Man in the Moon, Cheesy Moon, The Moon Is Always Full, Gigantic Moon, Moon Rabbit, Vulcan Has No Moon and Bad Moon Rising being subtropes of Weird Moon.
