I didn't care much about fictional romances until recently. I surprised myself when I started an Archive Binge of GirlGenius by really liking the Belligerent Sexual Tension between Abner and . . . argh I forget her name, but she was (eventually) awesome. And the wittiness between Master Payne and, uh, his wife (forgot her name too, oh man this is making me look sexist against my own sex, I don't intend it).
And I shipped Agatha/Lars and then suddenly . . . stuff happened. *sniff*
Not Agatha/Gil, at least yet. His goals are kind of nebulous and he seems a bit brattish. But apparently there are lots of people shipping them in 2015/16 (I'm still in the first decade of strips), so I have to guess his character develops.
For Harry Potter . . . well, Lupin and Tonks are almost the only fictional people, ever, that I've deliberately read romance fanfic for.
ALSO, I friend-ship people. I usually show it with an ampersand instead of a slash - for instance, Jack&Stephen from AubreyMaturin have the best rambling conversations while tuning up the violin and 'cello. And Vet&Vimes from Discworld.

Those who have seen me on the Kingdom Hearts based threads probably know that I ship Roxas/Xion. Why? Well, think of the cutest thing you can possibly imagine. Now think of something one hundred trillion times cuter than the cutest thing you can possibly imagine. This is how I consider this pairing.

I was never one with constant Shipping Goggles, but I have a few ships of my own. I personally prefer canon or heavily implied ships, with a few that aren't. I apologize if my explanations aren't the best, i was never good at that.
- FerrisWheelShipping aka Hilda/N- The one seen on my avatar, actually. Just before the credits rolled, that cutscene just made me ship it.
- HardenShipping aka Maxie/Archie- I blame the fanart, i became a fan since i saw someone on Tumblr do an RP blog on them.
- OriginShipping aka Steven/Wallace- I honestly don't remember when/how I became a fan, but I did. Maybe it was Wallace's artwork for the remake, maybe that helped.
- RocketShipping aka James/Jessie- The episode "Holy Matrimony" did it for me. To be honest, I hate Team Rocket when they're just scheming and trying to catch Pikachu for the 900th time (or however many episodes they've been doing that), but those subtle hints and whenever either of them are happy doig something just makes me happy. Like when Jessie did contests during the DP arc. She's actually good at them and made it to the Grand Festival! Also, apparently in the Spanish dub, James makes some references to Spanish songs, with the Shipping page on Bulbapedia listing out just the love song references. That's really cool. If the Anime does end sometimes within the next 20 or so years, make RocketShipping canon, that's all I want in the anime.
- ChosenShipping aka Female Green/Silver- The end of the Johto arc did it for me. I love thier relationship and the Dark and Troubled Past they share.
- FranticShipping aka Ruby/Sapphire- I think they're cute, especially since they've pretty much always been interested with each other, and it sucks they have to break up due to Ruby not remembering most of the Kyorge and Groudon situation. No one tell me about how they are in the ORAS arc, cuz i'm not there yet. Are there even scanlations of the XY and ORAS arcs yet?
- Reyn/Sharla- Alright, I admit it. I saw Let's Play/Chuggaaconroy's LP on it, and watching one of the cutscenes just made me a fan with that hug of theirs. It's too cute. Not only do i not want to spoil it, but i also don't remember exactly when it happens. I guess I gotta get back to my game, I have the New 3DS port. I'm trying to get a high affinity betweem the two because of how much i love the ship. I know by the end they have feelings for each other, but Sharla's still healing over her late fiance Gadolt (now i'm in the mood to read a Hurt/Comfort Fic starring these two). The ending cutscene is pretty ambiguous whether or not Sharla/Reyn are canon, but I'm still gonna think they are.
- Mario/Peach- Sure, let me jump on the bandwagon. That picture for Smash 4 that showed Mario's hand holding Peach's hand with a ring on it got me pretty excited.
- Tippi/Count Bleck [[Spoiler:aka Timpani/Blumiere]]- It's too cute, I can't take it. I need this game for story purposes alone.
- Link/Zelda- It's just from SS ship them in. I don't play a lot of Zelda games, but I know that most of them feature Link and Zelda know each other because they are both chosen ones, and don't do much else otherwise. This game has them be childhood friends and classmates (and chosen ones) with Zelda having a crush on Link, and that is so cute. Zelda's adorable herself, I love her design in that game.
- WALL-E/EVE- Probably the first ship I ever had, back when I was 12. This is also my favorite movie of all time, so much because of how much I love these 2. They are absolutely adorable.
- Buzz/Jessie. Again, too cute. The 3rd movie did it for me. There weren't enough hints in the 2nd movie to make me want to really ship it, but i still see some pretty good hints. When i heard there was gonna be a 4th TS movie, and it was gonna be a love story, i really thought i was gonna be about Buzz and Jessie, before it was confirmed to be Woody and Bo Peep. Not against that ship, but I hope i still get my Buzz/Jessie hints.
- Gwymplaine/Dea- The 1928 silent film version made me love them. I did read the novel, most of it, before i got bored. I kinda regret doing that because for all i know, i missed out on some major shipping that Hugo put in. It's too cute, i love them.
- Christine/Erik- I think it got to me that Stalking is Love is a bad relationship, but I'm not so sure on jumping on the Christine/Raoul bandwagon.
- FortuneShipping aka Lucas/Dawn- This ship sunk after beating Platinum, and the opposite gendered rival (Lucas in my case) does nothing interesting at all after the event of the game. You don't even get to fight them, and I was very disappointed.

I'm not very much into shipping to be fair, I am just too story-oriented. I'm almost an anti-shipper because I'm just not interested in pair every single character I see. Althought there some small bunch of ships than I approve.

The pairing I does not approve.
Any crack pairing, almost no exceptions ("OMG they are standing next each other, they must be in love", yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh *cough cough* stupid *cough cough*)
Any yaoi/yuri pairing that is also a crack pairing (Homosexuality it's OK and all, I have real life homosexual friends, but since when the homosexuality became a trend?. Mind you, I'm talking about CRACK pairings here, canon or ship tease homosexuality is ok in my book).
Flahs Light (For starters, I DON'T HATE Flash Sentry, I can't find him annoying, I just don't like the pairing, NOT because "Twilight is my waifu", but they hardly interacted with each other and their relationship goes to nowhere. Plus, he's a bit of a flat character).
Foe Yay (Dammit, they are enemies, and unless the story shows actual ambiguity in their relationship, Foe Yay is a bit of no-no).
Sorato (I admit I was kinda dissapointed by the ending of Digimon Adventure 02, this was only one reason among many others, but yeaaaaah, everytime I remember, well, it hurts. Like the Flahs Light, I still can't hate Yamato/Matt, I just don't like the pairing).
Joker X ANYONE(Dude, HE'S A PSYCHOPATH, there's no way one can find a cute relationship with him, not even Harley).
Kefka X ANYONE(Same as Joker, he's a freaking evil sociopath. It's easier to find a fan of Food Fight than a healthy relationship for Kefka).

on r/RWBY it is more like "can they be shipped" and "what would their shipping name be?", and most things can be shipped (with the exception of Tauradonna). this gave rise to some glorious ship names like "Ice Sculpting", "Corgi Café", "Bad Dragon", "Arctic Monkeys", "Guns 'N Roses" and "7.8/10 Too Much Water"

I don't know any of those ships. In fact, I shouldn't be here, I'm not really very romantic, but I made that post in my first days in the Yack Fest and I was kinda excited to make posts even if in hindsight I wasn't and still not suited for the threat.

I ship Stormpilot so much.They`re such a cute fake couple.For those of you with a life,thats Poe Dameron/Finn from Star Wars:The Force Awakens.With that lip biting,it drives me nuts not knowing if Poe is really into Finn.Oh,and for Tomb Raider 2013 I ship Lara/Sam so hard.I cried when I realized Sam wasn`t in Rise of the Tomb Raider.No crack pairings for me,thus far at least.

If I ship Ichika/Houki and Charl/Laura, does this mean I should ship Rin/Cecelia? Or should I just give up on them since they're all bitches?
Also, amusingly enough, I once saw an AMV of two shippings from two different series that both involve an ordinary guy and a psychopathic girl with red/pink hair and a name that starts with the letter L. I ship neither of those couples, but I find that combination of AMV love song shipping...strange.
