No need for shoehorning, really. Let's just say her creators and most Indonesian users have very different views regarding internet filtering.

In the Blood

Anabelle's world (that admittedly barely exists right now) works on the idea that magic is passed through blood. While her parents weren't evil, and they likely didn't even know they were magic, Anabelle did and tried her hardest to be a great villain... with varied results.

Button Mashing

Kamala is an avid video game player, so I don't know that she would ever use Button Mashing, but if her friends are playing against her, they might need to. (Though she doesn't usually play against her friends. She seems to prefer PC games, like World of Battlecraft.

Acoustic License

Its "quotes" be heard, no matter if it's in the caves, fighting something, or in an earthquake.

If you harm, or heavens forbid, kill, any of this Scrafty's family or gang, you can be certain he'll at least entertain the thought of going out for your blood. Even if you were just defending yourself against a completely unprovoked attack because you took a wrong turn into their 'patch'. Or you just looked at them funny. Justification? What's that? :V

In issue #8 his best defense against the giraffe-robot-thing him and Scud are up against is a toy plane. An issue later, he's downing the offspring of the comic's resident Eldritch Abomination by way of an entire arsenal (and one of those clown water squirter things).
