    Before the release of "Pilot"
This is a bad future of Meta Runner.
In the Meta Runner world alone, Silica City clearly must be using up more than twice what'd you see in fictional Tokyo, and it's implied every city in the world is like that. That must burn up a lot of fuel. Perhaps global warming sped up a bit and thus what Uzi describes as the humans destroying themselves was actually a failed trial for alternative energy. The robots in Meta Runner already seem more than sentient, so them stepping up doesn't seem too far fetched. The facility workers we see when Uzi describes the end look very reminiscent of Lucks's henchmen. The facility they work in also resembles a nuclear power plant. Perhaps they were researching enhanced nuclear energy, and accidentally unleashed the equivalent of an ultra nuke. That would certainly fit the "big explosion" Uzi describes. An ultra nuke's radiation would also provide a reason for why it only hit what looked to be about a few countries, yet somehow killed all life on Earth.
  • Seems unlikely, especially considering that the show is actually created by Liam Vickers. Glitch Productions is mainly just doing the animation.
  • The show isn’t even set on Earth… for now.

This show is going to be running on Anyone Can Die.
Due to it being a Bloodier and Gorier horror-comedy focusing on robots After the End of humanity, a lot of Developing Doomed Characters will probably be in place. While it will still be funny since it’s a Glitch show, odds are we shouldn't get too attached to the Worker Drones and quite possibly even the Murder Drones themselves. Let's just hope the show doesn't get into Too Bleak, Stopped Caring levels.
  • The last scenes in the official trailer seem to imply that it's going to happen.
    • Considering that N's HUD identifies Uzi as having Plot Armor, most likely jossed.
  • It is beginning to reach potential confirmation with Cabin Fever, where a lot of previously established and named characters like Braidon, Rebecca and quite a few other members of Uzi’s class.
    • With V’s presumed death in the newest episode, and the likelihood that N will need to kill Uzi to stop the Absolute Solver, this is inching further and further to be confirmed.

Serial Designation N will turn out to be Evil All Along or will pull a Face–Heel Turn
It at least seems to be implied in the official trailer, but it could make sense considering that N seems to seek recognition from his peers.
  • Uhh… well kinda jossed, kinda confirmed. He didn't kill Uzi after he revived himself because his optics were damaged and he thought she was a new recruit, but decides to have a Heel–Face Turn later on when he realizes that, yes, Murder Drones are considered expendable by humans.

A major series event that could occur could be N ending up disabled or otherwise losing access to his combat abilities.

It seems likely that the Murder Drones were built with a number of different killswitches and system locks just in case one of them went rogue.

One arc could involve some of N's triggering, effectively putting him out of commission while everyone else has to figure out how to fix him.

  • So far jossed.

The red light on Serial Designation N's "headband" indicates some kind of error
For whatever reason, N decides not to kill Uzi after he regenerates his head, and it's at that point he gains the red light, so maybe he regenerated wrong, and has a red light to indicate that.
  • Confirmed. He thought Uzi was a new recruit, but when the others rebooted his optics, he realized his mistake.

    In between "Pilot" and "Heartbeat"
Disassembly drones are converted from Worker Drones using nanotechnology
  • This might explain why Disassembly and Worker drones look similar. Of course, none of the drones are ever told this. Uzi unwittingly started the process at some point during the pilot, hence why she shows characteristics of one near the end - namely the fangs and her eyes briefly flashing yellow. The EMP fired by J may have accidentally messed up the programming, hence why Uzi goes Kill All Humans at the end.
  • Alternatively, they were created using similar technology but aren't one-to-one. This causes Uzi's potential conversion to have complications with things like increased aggression to the point of psychopathy and the risk of turning into a mindless killing machine.
    • Them being made using similar technology is confirmed; since they were both made by the same company, it makes sense that they share a base model.
  • Given that we see a flashback where N, V and J are ordinary Worker Drones serving humans at the start of "Heartbeat", it's all but confirmed that the Murder Drones were formerly Workers. IT is confirmed in Episode 5 that they were all Workers once.

The Disassembly Drones are basically vampires, and any trait vampires have, the Disassembly Drones will have too
Things about disassembly drones that are also things vampires have:
  • Blood/Oil sucking
  • Death by sunlight
  • Creepy crawling on ceilings
  • Difficulty passing through doors

Things vampires have that the disassembly drones might also have:

  • Converting normal drones into disassembly drones
    • Maybe confirmed? Uzi seems to be at the start of turning into one at the end of the pilot.
      • Well, as of Cabin Fever, Uzi is definitely/has definitely turned into something.
      • Later jossed as [[Freeze-Frame Bonus during her fight with J, Uzi's eye briefly turns into the Absolute Solver so the DDs didn't have anything to do with that.
  • Aversion to crosses and garlic.

The series will have an Hourglass Plot mixed with Rogue Protagonist
The first half as N and Uzi trying to survive the murder drones but also get them to recognize the value of the worker drone's lives. The second half/last episodes has Uzi going villainous (and possibly turning into something similar to a murder drone) due to her desire to destroy humanity while N and the murder drones they did convince trying to stop her due to taking the lesson to heart and coming to value human life as well.
  • Jossed as the series involves Uzi, N and V trying to find out more about the Solver and what JcJenson was doing with it.

The head of JC Jenson will be a pastiche of Bob Page.
The company's already named after the Deus Ex protagonists, why not base its leader off a Deus Ex antagonist?

Uzi will end up developing a Superpowered Evil Side due to her transformation into a Disassembly Drone.
  • I doubt that if the company actually programmed something like this into their Drones, they wouldn't have a failsafe to keep those new transformed Drones from going rogue. This will manifest as a Split Personality called Serial Designation U, resulting in Uzi having to find a way to deal with her increasing murderousness... before it's too late.
  • Semi-confirmed - Overuse of Absolute Solver powers causes an entity named Cyn to take over; however, V's comments indicate that it's more similar to a case of Demonic Possession.

The "Absolute Solver" string may be playing a major part in how Disassembly drones work.
  • When N reboots after J punches him in the head, if you pause the video, you'll notice that the log says "STRING "ABSOLUTE SOLVER" BLOCKED BY ADMINISTRATION "CYN"" Later on in the pilot, when Uzi declares her intention to Kill All Humans, her eyes flash yellow, with one of them turning into a warning message reading "absoluteSolver.string = FALSE", which quickly changes to "absoluteSolver.string = TRUE".
  • Very definitely confirmed. The "Absolute Solver" is ... something which appears to be controlling the Disassembly Drones and corrupting Workers.

N doesn't actually know about Uzi's goal to Kill All Humans.
He was out of ear shot when she made her declaration and it seems to have been something she decided on right then and there. This will lead into conflict when he does find out.
  • Jossed. Episode 2 has N comment on Uzi's plans. That said, he is clearly not comfortable with it, so the possibility of it leading to conflict is still there.

Uzi is somehow part murder drone.
She laughs maniacally just like V at the end of the pilot. Her eyes also become rings just like V's did earlier when she was being psychotic. The timing also fits. V's eyes become rings when she thinks about killing worker drones. Uzi's eyes became rings when she thought about killing humans.
  • Ring shaped eyes doesn't necessarily mean they're about to murder. All of the robots have ring shaped eyes whenever they're under stress or any other powerful negative emotion.
    • A rather more compelling case for Uzi "being part murder drone" (or more likely being in the process of turning since the Disassembly Drones are basically vampires) are her eyes flashing yellow (like the murder drones) with text like "Corrupted" flashing across her display.
      • Jossed so far as she isn't turning into one. Just her wings and tail resemble them.

A future Disassembly Drone will be based on Dracula.
Given the Disassembly Drones' vampire theming, it would seem right for a Drone based on ol' Drac to show up, quite possibly as the final or penultimate opponent of the series.
  • Said drone could be the prototype that Disassembly Drones are based on.

The Worker Drones have been sentient for two generations
Most of the adult Worker Drones still look like the Worker Drones before the humans were wiped out. Blue eyes with something that looks like a hardhat. It looks like their children have begun to diversify their appearances a little more.
  • In "The Promening" Kelsey Day's ID is KL#4421, implying that she's part of the fourth generation of Workers to be 'born' on Copper-9.

At some point, we’ll see a deactivated Murder Drone in a “coffin”.
  • They’re basically robot vampires: I can imagine one being stored, deactivated, in a coffin-like device as a Shout-Out.

N will be reluctant to enter JC Jensen headquarters without permission.
  • Vampires need to be invited in, after all…

Uzi's mom was becoming a murder drone when she was given a Mercy Kill.
  • Assuming that murder drones are like vampires. For all we know, her death was related to an injury from a murder drone.
    • According to Khan, she was infected with Nanite Acid from a tail sting.

The company intentionally gave Disassembly Drones the ability to convert other drones into them.
Considering how much Disassembly Drones resemble vampires, it would make sense that 'infecting' other drones was an intentional featured designed into them. Since vampires usually infect through biting or feeding others their blood, the initial infection of Uzi could have been when N used his salvia to repair her when he thought she was an Disassembly Drone. The reason for giving them the ability to infect other drones is to save the company the costs of having to replace destroyed Disassembly Drones (Uzi's apparent transformation could've even been triggered by the death of J, since that would mean the squad is down one member).
  • Jossed as Uzi and Doll developing cannibalistic tendencies and the former gaining wings and a tail are confirmed to be a product of the Solver's powers.

Murder Drones need to be killed by injury to the chest like vampires need to be staked in the heart.
We see that despite losing his head, N is able to regenerate and is fully functional again, even if he Came Back Wrong for a while. However, when Uzi destroyed J’s torso, she didn't regenerate.

Disassembly Required will play in the finale when N and Uzi fight whoever their final target is.
It seems weird that the theme was composed when it has almost no usage, and Glitch shows are notorious for having big action themes during the big battles with the villain at the end.

The Disassembly Drones' saliva can still revive robots seemingly beyond repair.
We've seen N regenerate his entire head and he kept (most) of his memories. Maybe the reason J didn't regenerate was because all of her saliva was vaporized by Uzi's railgun, but if she did have enough saliva spilled on her, would she come back? Maybe it could even be a plot point when a Murder Drone accidentally over-drools on the spire of corpses.

The Disassembly Drones are made from humans.
In this Reddit QNA, Word of God gives hints about a plot point being what the Murder Drones can and can't do and that "When we start looking under the hood, we may not like what we finnndddd . . ." This makes me think that it will be revealed that the Murder Drones have organic components in their torsos that came from unwilling humans, either low-level employees as part of some kind of contract or from customers who are in debt to the company. Either way, this will result in Uzi reevaluating her plan of destroying humankind and instead focus on taking down JCJenson due to it being a threat to both species.
  • Jossed as it seems that drones infected with the Solver start to develop organic components.

N will die in the finale.
It's been stated that disassembly drones must drink worker drone oil to survive, or they'll overheat. N is loyal to Uzi, so it's unlikely he'll suck her oil, and they're heading off the only planet with worker drones, therefore N has no source of oil. Towards the finale, he'll probably start suffering the effects of overheating, and will die in the finale due to this. His death will end up either causing Uzi to finally snap and go on a human-killing rampage, or she'll make it to him right after she's defeated whoever leads JCJenson, with him passing away then.

The Disassembly Drones are named after firearms.
All the Disassembly Drones are only named by a singular letter, with N, J, and V. But honestly, considering how deadly they are, it wouldn't surprise me if they have actual names and are named after real-life firearms, much like how Uzi is named after the sub-machine gun. Such as...
  • Serial Designation N: Nimrod, an anti-tank gun used in WWII.
  • Serial Designation J: Jarmann, a Norwegian bolt-action rifle.
  • Serial Designation V: Vulcan, after the minigun, though considering V's more feminine in appearance and "Vulcan" is usually a male name, it would probably be something like Vulcana.
So if we meet any other Disassembly Drones, they'd probably have real names derived from IRL weaponry too, like "Serial Designation G" for Gatling or Garand, or "Serial Designation S" for Skar. On top of that, this could play into another theory that Uzi was meant to become a Disassembly Drone at some point before the events of the show, considering her penchant for firearms and that little "glitch out" that she had at the end of the pilot.

Uzi will at some point have second thoughts about her goal to kill all humans.
She will witness the good and the bad sides of humanity and see that the humans are doing what they do out of desperation to preserve their species. She'll see people dying of severe illness, mourning loved ones that perished under their extreme circumstances, dragging themselves through the wringer and braving extreme circumstances just to get basic necessities to stay alive. Perhaps at some point she ends up taking a human child under her wing out of pity when she sees how much they're struggling and ends up playing a cool big sis/parental substitute role for them. Ultimately, it is discovered that her true enemy is not humanity as a whole, but the company that created the murder drones, who are hoarding resources and lying to the public about it. In the end, she ends up leading a rebellion consisting of workers, disassembly drones and humans to bring them down once and for all. After a series of death, violence and pain, it all ends with all three species coming together and finding a new, more hospitable planet to live on.

Uzi will NOT get an upgrade into a Disassembly Drone, but will act like one.
She's a Worker Drone. It stands to say while her software can be altered or corrupted in a snap or as a glitch, there's no way for her to suddenly develop machinery she wouldn't have unless given beforehand. If her experience with N do end up turning her into one, it'll purely affect her personality.
  • Seems to be Confirmed as of Episode 4. The Absolute Solver causes her to develop oddly fleshy wings and a tail like those of a Murder Drone and go on a killing spree, but she's still obviously not one.
  • The Murder Drones are shown to have regenerative capability. What if, in the case of an infectee, this power is used to generate the extra parts?

N will receive a name after a while, as symbolism of forgoing his original purpose as a Disassembly Drone.
In the same vein, he could start nicknaming Uzi "U" (she could point out it sounds no different than addressing her by "you").
  • Jossed so far.

Uzi will become the final villain.

J isn’t "dead".
We don’t yet know the limits to exactly how much a Disassembly drone can regenerate, and even if she can’t regenerate, it’s also possible she could be rebuilt or brought back in a new body, should it be revealed the company has spares for each Drone(which going by the idea each Drone is named after a letter, would mean there are 26 Murder Drones in total, which could necessitate spares.) If she does come back, she could either continue being an antagonist, or maybe become an eventual ally if she ends up finding out N was right about the company’s stance on robots and decides helping him and Uzi is the better option than continuing to serve them.
  • Confirmed as she reappears in "The Promening" and it's revealed in "Dead End" that 'effective drones were cloned more'

Related to the above, J will be revealed to have been brought back to life by Uzi's saliva.
The season/series finale will include a brand new type of Disassembly Drone.
  • Uzi and N's actions will result in a new generation Disassembly Drone more dangerous than the current models being sent after them.

V will join Uzi and N's team, leaving N as the Token Good Teammate
V will team up with them, but she's only in it for the "oilshed."
  • She does team up with them but she doesn't trust Uzi for a bit until "Dead End"

Corporate wars blew up Copper-9 and not human incompetence
Wacky as the show may seem, a spacefaring race capable of building complex intelligent machines and nigh indestructible pens doesn't seem likely to mismanage a planet shattering reactor. Said reactor was actually struck by a cyber attack from a rival corporation perfectly willing to kill every creature organic or cybernetic to put the place out of business.
  • That Uzi was only born long after the incident occured, that she has a colorful biased view of humans and that worker drones from that time likely had no clue of why the core collapse happened hints that the opening narration she makes is unreliable.
  • Jossed as it's implied in "Dead End" that Nori under the control of the Solver blew up the core.

Robot reproduction is what triggered the sending of Murder Drones
There is an unspecified amount of time between the death of biological lifeforms on Copper-9 and the actual response from the corporation to dispose of worker drones which means that leaving them on the planet unassisted wasn't an issue until the robots decided to make new unprogrammed ones. This showcases how corrupt the mega corps are because even after humans died there all the company cared about was continued resource exploitation with the robots so long as they kept following their programmed instructions. The moment the worker drones dared to stop working and start families the corporate overlords decided that they were unprofitable and send the disassembly drones to scrap them for a cashback.

Humans are just as exploited as robots by a cruel transhuman elite
Humanity at the time of the setting has long passed technological singularity and the race is now divided between mortal poor people being sent on dangerous colonial jobs and a near immortal corporate elite with colossal space empires and corrupt morals to the point of blowing up planets in their war for profit.
  • This may explain why N's jumbled memories have what is assumed to be humans represented by black silhouettes with glowing eyes.

Earth and humanity will be revealed to be Dead All Along.
Whether due to war, other robots, disease, a Great Old One, incompetence, or some ungodly mixture of the prior, Uzi will be too late to get her revenge, as all of humanity has clocked out of existence.

Except maybe some slacker in stasis on a heavily irradiated ship, but that's not likely.

  • Probably jossed, considering Tessa's presence. Unless she turns out to be a drone herself.
  • Seemingly-confirmed. Earth is revealed to have been supposedly destroyed by the Absolute Solver, and it seems like most humans are dead. Tessa however does seem to actually be a human, though.

In between "Heartbeat" and "The Promening"
Murder Drones may be related to Liam's previous series Internecion Cube.
  • First off, the name - "Internecion" is a term meaning mutual slaughter or destruction. The titular Internecion Cubes are shown to be very capable of doing so.
  • Both the Cubes and the Murder Drones are shown to be very capable of manipulating matter, the cubes to a much greater degree than the Drones - with manipulation of organic matter often ending up with nightmarish and disturbing results. Also, Doll's usage of AS powers causes a door to crumple.
  • Destroyed Absolute Solver components collapse into black holes - not to dissimilar to how the cubes are capable of absorbing all nearby matter in an instant.
  • The Drones and the Cubes are heavily implied to be far more than simple AI-controlled robots, strongly tending towards the Mechanical Abomination side of the spectrum.

Tessa
At the beginning of "Heartbeat", N's memory/dream reveals that he, V, and J used to be servants in a creepy old mansion serving ominous rich people. Towards the end, J is in the middle of berating N for flimsy reasons before shifting to a faux-affectionate voice to a girl named Tessa. She then drops the voice to an exasperated one when she sees Tessa has brought a Worker Drone, "another one", into the house. And the very first lines of the episode are of a man saying "We've got to curb her trips to the dump. And where is she getting the hair to play dress-up with them? Creepy!" This implies that Tessa has a habit of taking discarded Worker Drones and somehow turning them into her playmates and servants. Based on how J initially spoke to Tessa, she may have been the household's original Robot Maid and Tessa's nanny while N and maybe V were simply brought into the house. If N really did come from the dumps, this would explain why J treats him like dirt. As for the hair part, well, Liam did say that the Worker Drones got their hair from the dead humans littering Copper 9, so perhaps Tessa is stealing hair from dead things, at which point the man calling her creepy is totally accurate.

V knows that Uzi's becoming a disassembly drone because she's intentionally used the infection variant before.
Doll, Uzi's Russian-speaking classmate, is shown to have the same symbol in her eye and is able to telekinetically interact with the world when it's active, such as by crushing the classroom door to prevent the Absolute Solver from getting in or exploding a cockroach - just like how, when Uzi's eye turns into the symbol, she shatters the mirror somehow. In addition, Doll is shown looking at a photograph of V's combat form happily. Perhaps V intentionally infected Doll with the disassembly drone nanites in order to have a nascent murder drone infiltrate the worker drone base and bypass the doors... until N chased Uzi down and destroyed the locking mechanisms while they were vulnerable. As is, she's not offering any information on Uzi's condition since Doll turning against the workers and butchering them from the inside is her best chance at succeeding the mission.
  • Jossed, sort of. V definitely knows what's happening, but really doesn't like it.

Uzi and N are the titular Murder Drones.
So far the term "Murder Drone" hasn't actually been used in the show. There are Worker Drones, like Uzi, Thad and Khan, and there are Disassembly Drones, like N, V and J. Perhaps the term "Murder Drone" isn't referring to an actual type of robot, but rather what the robots are doing, and Uzi and N are Murder Drones due to their goals. It also makes sense, because from what the series has shown, robots are considered lesser than humans, so it would likely not be 'murder' to kill a drone, but it would definitely be to kill a human.
  • Actually, Khan calls N a Murder Drone, implying it is simply the term Worker Drones use to refer to the Disassembly Drones, not actually knowing they’re actual title.

Uzi's mother was becoming a Disassembly Drone...
...And asked Khan to kill her before she turned against the Worker Drones. This explains why the Absolute Solver was able to recognize Uzi (beyond her killing J) and create a hologram of Uzi's mother while saying that it hurt she didn't remember it. If it's true, then it might explain why Khan was so traumatized at the idea of killing N with Uzi's gun - he's not only traumatized by being forced to kill another, but also because he knows that Disassembly Drones were once Worker Drones just like them and, in N's case considering his amiability, are only hunting Worker Drones down to avoid death themselves. One can only imagine the toll it'd have on him if he learned that Uzi is now infected as well... and is much happier to accept the attitude of Disassembly Drones, even if it's pointed towards humans.

The Absolute Solver device in Ep 2 didn’t actually come out of J’s corpse.
In the scene where the Absolute Solver is introduced, we briefly focus on the hole in the ceiling, despite it not being relevant for the rest of the scene. Frank(or “Ladderbot 5000”) then hears several noises come from around the room before J’s corpse ever starts moving. This could imply the spider-like device we first see inside the corpse may have actually came in through the hole in the roof before skittering around the room and entering the corpse. This would imply the device was intentionally sent with the purpose to repair J. Further evidenced by the solver later referring to J as “THAT” host rather than “our” host, which could imply J was not the device’s original/only host.
  • Jossed as far as the "device" being sent from outside — it's implied this is a Solver-corrupted AI Core. However, the Solver having multiple hosts is confirmed, with the original being Cyn.

Adding onto the above, the giant monster with J’s hair already existed beforehand and was summoned by the solver device rather than created from the materials it gathered.
At the end of Ep 2, we see both the solver device and a component of the monster, a hologram camera, collapse into small black hole-like orbs that float away when they’re destroyed. This could imply that the giant monster we see in the episode was actually a fully formed being that was first summoned by the black orb within the solver device when it realized it needed more material to repair J and noticed a Worker Drone in the room with it. This would also mean the monster may have been stored somewhere prior to the events of the series, and that there may be multiple of these monsters, perhaps one for each individual Disassembly Drone…

V still cares about N.
We learned in episode 2 that the two had mutual crushes on each other before they became Murder Drones. And the end of the episode reveals that V has already cut her chains, but for whatever reason, isn't going anywhere. My guess is that her feelings for him haven't been completely programmed out, and she doesn't want to fight against him. (Her feelings may be buried in her subconscious, though.)

Doll will become an Antagonist.
We don’t have much information about Doll at this point, but given her reaction to the insect and the picture of V she was ominously smiling at, I doubt she has good intentions.
  • Confirmed in "The Promening"!

Episode 3 will feature a 3-way fight between V, Doll, and Uzi and N.
With the recent promo image confirming V will be at the Prom in Ep 3, am guessing that the big climactic battle will be 3-way. Doll will see V and, judging by her staring at the photo of her in Episode 2 and mentioning the death of her family, will likely attack V with her powers. V will then attack her with murderous intent, and N and Uzi will fight both to prevent them from killing each other, though there may be some unfortunate casualties before they can fully stop the fighting.
  • Mostly Jossed. Doll deliberately lured V to the prom so she can exact vengeance for her parents' death, leading to a Ballroom Blitz — but V, Uzi, and N are all sort of on the same side trying to stop Doll.

In between "The Promening" and "Cabin Fever"

Drones with Absolute Solver powers are "predetermined" in a sense.
In the sense that whether or not they can use it is determined by some external factor before they were even born. Both Uzi and Doll are noted to be social outcasts, and more significantly, both Uzi and Doll have an item on their person that share the exact same skull logo - which has to be of significance given that the camera zooms in on it.
  • Somewhat confirmed. The skull chokers were formerly owned by their mothers Nori and Yeva, who were deliberately infected with the Absolute Solver as part of experiments by JCJenson, and they seem to have somehow 'inherited' it from them. However, the Solver is first able to manifest when it makes a deal with the damaged Cyn.

Tessa will turn out to be a Drone herself under her helmet.
The fact that her face is never seen, and her seemingly enhanced physical prowess (which I didn't think of until now; I just thought this idea was a cool idea for a fic until some things clicked just now) hints at her not being human herself. This may lead to a Tomato in the Mirror moment where Tessa takes off her helmet for some reason and realizes that she's a Drone herself. Cue Freak Out.
  • There has been a bit of evidence in "Dead End" that Tessa may not be, at least to a degree, not human. Notable evidence includes her emphasizing on the fact that she's human way more often than she needs to be, the fact that she can bleed tons of blood with little to no consequence, and the fact that she's alive at all from the cause of the bleeding: her suit being bitten through.

The Murder Drone squads are akin to the Eternal teams sent by the Celestials.
  • That is to say, there technically aren't multiple squads of drones, just copies of the same squad over and over.
    • Not entirely sure that is the case, as even in Eternals they mentioned there may be other Eternals out there besides the main ones we follow.
      • Jossed in "Dead End" as some of the more intact Disassembly Drone bodies have hairstyles that differ from N, V and J's ones.

Khan is trying to hide Uzi's Absolute Solver powers from her.
It's no mystery that Khan's...quite the bad father. But now that Uzi discovered that she has Absolute Solver powers like Doll does in The Promening, it just begs the question: while V certainly seems to know about what's going on, does Khan even know Uzi has Absolute Solver powers (Possibly even inherited from her mother, but that's another can of worms), and is he in actuality trying to hide that fact from her? How deep does Khan's knowledge of it go, and does his bad parenting of Uzi stem from what happened with her mother?

Episode 4 will open in what happened in the immediate aftermath of the planetary core explosion
There will be a flashback in the beginning of the episode. It will show the Worker Drones on Copper-9 celebrating their newfound freedom. During the celebrations, we will see Khan drinking at a bar, sitting alone among the celebrations when Nori appears and sits next to him. The two talk a bit about their new-found freedom and what lies ahead before the scene cuts to present day.
  • Jossed, mostly — however near the start of the episode Khan reveals some information about Nori's past to Uzi, including mentioning the skull chokers both Nori and Doll's mother seem to have owned.

Khan was forced to kill Nori as she'd been corrupted by the Absolute Solver
A variant of the "Nori was becoming a Murder Drone" theory, which manages to tie up several characterisation and plot points. We know that Nori, much like Uzi, was investigating the Disassembly Drones and, more importantly, the Absolute Solver itself knew about her, and projected a hologram of her with the distinctive 'eye'. It's also clear, from the prom fight in Episode 3, that Absolute-Solver-wielding Worker Drones are basically indestructible until caught off guard. As such, this could explain some of Khan's characterisation - for instance, his cowardice and Head-in-the-Sand Management are due to a desperate attempt to avoid any interaction with the Murder Drones, which are presumably the source of corruption. Furthermore, his Parental Neglect of Uzi is possibly due to him having to convince the corrupted Nori to trust him, then take her out before she could react, causing him to be fearful of getting close to anyone in case the same happens again. Not that this Freudian Excuse means he's not a terrible father — actually explaining what happened would have been a better idea.
  • Dead End seems to suggest that the Solver took full control of Nori at some point but given that she seems normal in Khan's pictures, it seems like she managed to break free of the Solver's control after the Core Collapse.

In between "Cabin Fever" and "Home"

Uzi is a Zombie Drone rebuilt from Nori's remains
This implies that "Zombie Drones", which are mentioned on the cover of a JC Jenson training video, is Exactly What It Says on the Tin: going with the previous theories on how not only was Nori becoming a Murder Drone, but was also killed by Khan because of the Absolute Solver, it makes me think that the guilt of having to kill the woman he loved resolved him to using her remains to build Uzi as a "fresh start". Though that implies the hallucinations that Absolute Solver J showed her were just tampered memories, it would explain the following:
  • The reason Uzi has the Absolute Solver powers in the first place.
  • Uzi exhibiting some similar behavior to Nori (Creepy drawings covering every inch of her room at the end of Episode 2, identically to Nori's drawings in a broom closet)
  • The more fleshy appearance of her "Murder Drone" form as opposed to the more mechanical appearances of N, V, and J.
    • Jossed as Zombie Drones are in fact improperly disassembled drones who have self-rebooted and Nori is confirmed to be at least alive when Uzi was born, judging from a photo.

Regardless, Uzi, or perhaps "Cyn" as V has called her, being disassembled/reassembled long before the events of the story could explain the terminology "Zombie Drones".

There are almost no Worker Drones left
N killed most of the WDF, J's corpse killed a good chunk of workers, Doll killed quite a few students, and Uzi killed most of her classmates. And those are just the deaths that we know about. With such a high body count in such a short period, it seems unlikely that there are many workers left in the bunker. We don't really know if there are other bunkers and hideaways on Copper 9, but if not that may mean there are very few workers left on the entire planet. This could pose a problem for the various drones that have been feeding on other drones' oil.
  • Not sure if this is accurate - quite a few escaped Doll's rampage, for example.
  • And every new episode, we see large numbers of Worker Drones with new characters being introduced.
  • And it's revealed in the background that Uzi's colony is known as Outpost 3 with Outpost 9 appearing on Khan's certificate, revealing that there are several other colonies.
  • N only killed like 4 guys, J's corpse only has a few kills, Uzi only killed 6 of her classmates.

Cyn may be shaping up to be some sort of Greater-Scope Villain.
  • As mentioned in an earlier WMG, one of the administrators for whatever system drives the Murder Drones is identified as "CYN" by the log. Given this is the same name as what V referred to Uzi as, combined with the fact that Cyn is apparently capable of controlling access to whatever the Absolute Solver is...
  • Somewhat confirmed. Dead End reveals that Cyn is the first host of the Absolute Solver, which is sentient and the true Greater-Scope Villain of the series.

Cyn is the reason that the Murder Drones were sent.
  • They weren't trying to kill off all the worker drones, they were looking for the one with the Absolute Solver.
  • Confirmed. The Absolute Solver was supposedly the one who sent the Murder Drones in the first place.

The next episode will have Uzi, Khan and the WDF revisit the camp and learning more about what the project that Nori and Yeva were working on
In the next episode, Uzi will travel back to the camp along with Khan and a small force of WDF members to investigate the area. During the investigation, Khan will reveal that after the core collapse and his trip to the camp, Nori and Yeva spearheaded an operation to bury any evidence or knowledge of the project they were working on. The project will be revealed to be an attempt at mastering the Absolute Solver and the creation of the first Disassembly Drones.
  • Jossed. It’s a backstory episode that reveals some more of the lore.

Uzi will get her railgun back with her Solver form
She's had it for the first two episodes before it was destroyed by Solver J. It'd make some modicum of sense for her to create a railgun using her new Absolute Solver powers.

Uzi had the Absolute Solver program latently.
During Episode 4, we see that the chokers worn by Nori as well as Doll's mother are used as identifiers for drones that worked for Cabin Fever Labs, and Nori also apparently warned Khan of a "singularity" awakening as well as telling him to build the doors to keep the Disassembly Drones out before they had even arrived, with N seeing a flash of what appeared to be a black hole opening when he touched the "Zombie Drones" tapes. In addition, when the Absolute Solver makes an illusion of Nori in Episode 2, she's holding a baby Uzi - and both Nori and baby Uzi have their eyes change into the Absolute Solver symbol. That, along with how both of the worker drones that have the ability to use the Absolute Solver were born from other drones who worked at Cabin Fever Labs implies that the drones who worked there had the Absolute Solver powers themselves and passed it down to the drones made with copies of their neural networks, and thus their programming. While the nanite acid might have infected Uzi, it doesn't make sense for it to be the entire reason because Doll is shown awakening her Absolute Solver powers when she watched V kill her parents, and V certainly isn't the type to infect a drone with acid and then cure them.

V's comment to a Cyn-corrupted Uzi is "new body, same powers", which implies that the flesh-forming powers of the Absolute Solver are directly linked to Cyn rather than it just being a case of Cyn having the position of admin, given how V could recognize their trademark abilities on-sight rather than it being a case of the Absolute Solver, which she was previously shown to be not completely up-to-date on, given how she wanted to know about Doll's deal in Episode 4. This, alongside Nori's comment about how "the singularity has awakened", makes it seem like the origin of the Absolute Solver is something sentient and horrifying, and the fact that N gets flashbacks to seeing a black hole in front of him alongside V's familiarity and enmity with Cyn makes it seem highly likely that they've encountered Cyn in the past and given their status as the administrator of Absolute Solver powers, it certainly seems like Cyn is something beyond our comprehension.

The next episode will be a 'The Ring' Parody
Seems like it makes the most sense, what with the discovery of the VHS Tape, and it seemingly causing hallucinations.
  • Jossed. The teasers point towards it referencing The Shining, with direct homages to the Ballroom photo and the Redrum scene. The episode itself combines the Shining with A Nightmare on Elm Street.

JCJenson is actually a cult worshiping an Eldritch Abomination
All the Body Horror and the fact that the AbsoluteSolver is a Mechanical Abomination points to something worse than your usual Corrupt Corporate Executives. Perhaps the [nul] N saw in that flashback is a portal to somewhere? Since every episode pays homage to a horror movie, the episode where this is a major plot point will pay homage to Event Horizon.

Episode 5 will have a Zombie Apocalypse.
N watches the VHS Tape but it causes the dead Worker Drones to start reactivating all across Copper 9. This will be a case of Came Back Wrong with the reanimated Worker Drones seeking the metal and oil of the living. V who is at the spire realises what's going on and heads to Uzi's colony to warn the Worker Drones. Within the colony, the dead begin walking and attacking, causing panic and confusion. Uzi, Khan, the WDF and a few others work with N to try and survive and save as many as they can. After a long night, the Zombie Drones are killed again and the survivors celebrate before Uzi and Khan discover Nori's grave is empty. At where Tessa and J are at, they are travelling with the other Disassembly Drones towards the nearest colony when suddenly Nori appears and attacks.
  • Jossed. It's essentially a flashback, through N's memories, which reveals exactly who Cyn is and how N, V and J became Disassembly Drones.

In between "Home" and "Dead End"

Murder Drones are modified Zombie Drones.
We know that Cyn can take control of several drones, and many signs are pointing to Cyn being responsible for the creation of both Zombie Drones and Murder Drones alike. This troper believes that Cyn might've been the one responsible for the core collapse, wiping out most of humanity (save Tessa) and maybe even took over JC Jenson while she was at it, turning the company into her own galactic sandbox by taking over/influencing certain drones and killing them either directly or indirectly. There's also the tape talking about upgrading Drones, which Cyn might've done to certain Zombie Drones to become Murder Drones as though she were some robot Muzan Kibutsuji.
  • Confirmed with Elliot Manor Zombie Drones reappearing as Disassemblers in the present day.

J, N, and V are the only Disassembly Drones.
Based on what we see in Home, Cyn was the original person tinkering around with making Murder Drones, and the three Disassembly Drones seem to be the only ones to escape being turned into them, as J accompanies Tessa, and N manages to spark V's memories and bring her back from being possessed by giving her her glasses. With how Cyn also seemingly murdered an entire gala of humans with her possessed drones, it seems unlikely that JCJenson would partner up with Cyn just based on their dislike of rogue drones. Corporate greed trumps all, however, so it's highly likely that someone in the company rebranded the trio that escaped being possessed by Cyn as "Disassembly Drones" and made a few modifications to complete the rebranding, but failed to purge Cyn's influence from their systems.
  • Addendum: Actually, it seems likely that none of the three survived the actual course of events with their free will intact - J was taken over directly by Cyn who makes her lock Tessa in the hall, N only survived the crows because of Uzi taking over one of them since we later see his corpse in the basement chair (they have identical hairstyles and only Tessa's drones have hair in the mansion), and V was already dead and under Cyn's control until Memory!N reminded her of herself, and she was in Cyn's clutches and about to be killed again when Uzi once again intervened.
    • Jossed, the remains of other squads of Disassembly Drones are seen having tried and failed to enter Cabin Fever Labs.

Drones with the Absolute Solver should all be under Cyn's control.
Based on how Cyn controls all of the Worker Drones aside from J and N in the memory - including V - and how they also mentioned to Uzi that "you are our cute puppets" when she asks if the Absolute Solver is a repair program, it seems that Cyn is inherently meant to be a puppeteer of the Absolute Solver drones, which is emphasized by how Cyn is apparently an administrator for the Disassembly Drones, and why the armbands of the Disassembly Drones and the drones in the dump have Cyn's name on them. In addition, Cyn's comment of "you are our cute puppets" includes Uzi, who seems to have inherited the Absolute Solver powers from her mother just like Doll has, and when Uzi loses control over her Absolute Solver powers in Episode 4, V believes that Uzi's been taken over by Cyn, further implying that that's something Cyn can do.

Based on the fact that before the core collapse, both Uzi and Doll's mothers were part of a lab that seemed to be studying them, we can assume that JCJenson knew that Cyn should be able to control Absolute Solver drones and was trying to figure out why some Absolute Solver drones weren't under Cyn's control... or how to replicate it for themselves. Cyn's comment of how N brought back V's sentience when she was being controlled by Cyn being that it was both true and false implying that N and V regaining control over their bodies was something that did originally happen, just not at that point. If N, V, and J were placed under Cyn's control after the real events that took place in Home, and later got it back before or after being turned into Disassembly Drones, it makes sense that JCJenson would want to research why, and potentially replicate the phenomena for themselves to distance themselves from Cyn.
  • The comment from Cyn is more about how Cyn found V breaking free to be gross, as she said "Cute: false. Gross: true."

One of the last three episodes will parody Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Given the whole “Zombie Drones” thing, it isn’t out of the question. Besides, it’d just make sense as the finale to a show that constantly pays homage to horror.

It will be revealed that JCJenson has exploded into Enemy Civil War over how to handle the Absolute Solver
One faction wants to use the Absolute Solver while the other faction wants to eradicate the Absolute Solver and every Drone that it has infected.

Yeva couldn't see the future like Nori and other Solver Subjects could but she could see past memories like Doll can

The Absolute Solver is a Fourth-Wall Observer.
Could serve as the reason as to how it’s users can summon weapons out of thin air, with a visibly glitchy affect to it; it’s messing with the show’s animation to create objects as weapons.

Another type of Drone will be revealed: Security Drones and will play a role in the 6th Episode
Security Drones were created as a better alternative to using human security guards. They are quite similar to Worker Drones but equipped with body-armour and helmets. In Episode 6, it will be revealed that before the Core Collapse, Camp 98.7 ordered extremely high numbers of Security Drones to guard what was down in the facility.
  • Somewhat confirmed. While the episode introduces a new type of drone, it's actually called a Sentinal and has the appearance of a Velociraptor.

Episode 6 will be based on Sci-Fi Horror and will be called "The Labs"
And the Monster of the Week for this episode will be... Zombie Drones, controlled by Cyn or another Drone with the Absolute Solver.
  • Jossed, the episode is called "Dead End" and the Monster of the Week is the Sentinal drones based on the Velociraptors from "Jurassic Park" .

Internecion Cube will be revealed to be a Stealth Prequel to Murder Drones
It will be revealed by Tessa or another human that the Absolute Solver originally appeared in the cubes who began causing chaos and destruction in their war for status as the one true god of the universe After the majority of the cubes wiped each other out or were killed by the shadowy government agency and military, JcJenson used an earlier version of the Disassembly Drones to wipe out the now weakened survivors, designating them as the Cube Disassembler Drones . Unknown to anyone, one of the cubes survived and infected the CDDs. As humanity progressed and Mega Corps like JcJenson and others like them started developing Drones to make things more convenient, the surviving cube adapted and began infecting Drones.

Episode 6's Monster of the Week will have a case of Don't Look At Me and will kill anyone who looks at it
  • Somewhat confirmed. The Sentinels will cause any drones that look at them to freeze up, giving them an easy chance to devour them.

In between "Dead End" and "Mass Destruction"
One of the final two episodes will pay homage to Night of the Living Dead (1968)
With all the previous episodes spoofing other horror films, and the whole Zombie Drones thing, it’d just be logical to have one of the most iconic horror movies ever be referenced in the final act of the show.

The series will have a Gainax Ending.

V survived the Sentinel horde.

If V did not in fact survive the Sentinel horde, she will show up in the finale as a vision or a ghost (however that would work) to help motivate N in defeating whatever the Final Boss of the season is.

The Absolute Solver and the TV Entity from SMG4 are somehow connected.
The organic material created by the Solver looks incredibly similar to the Eldritch Goop, and both seem to be malevolent AIs.

The Red Eyed Sentinel will play a large role later on.
Considering that V ends up abandoning her attempt to shoot it when the not malfunctioning Sentinels arrive to finish the job. Another thing to note is that the red eyed Sentinel is not visible when the other ones are about to attack V.
  • It is actually visible when the others are about to attack V. Look closely at the bottom of the screen.

The final episode will feature every threat faced in previous episodes.
  • Episode 1: Tessa is setting up a conflict between N and Uzi, leading to N briefly taking a more antagonistic role.
  • Episode 2: V is 'killed' by the Sentinels, and comes back in an 'Eldritch J'-like form.
  • Episode 3: Doll is clearly present.
  • Episode 4: Spooky Uzi is clearly present.
  • Episode 5: Cyn/the Absolute Solver are the main threats of the show, and will obviously return for the finale.
  • Episode 6: The Sentinels make it down the elevator shaft to join the party.
    • Seemingly confirmed with Sentinels appearing in the teaser for Episodes 7 and 8.

Cyn is The Dragon to the AS.
  • Due to the implication that she made a deal with the AS, this could have come with some perks. Evidence? Keep in mind that she's still listed as "Administrator" when N reboots in episode 1.
    • It's implied that Cyn suffered Grand Theft Me and didn't have any control over her actions in "Home"

Tessa on Copper-9 is not the real Tessa.
It is a creation of Cyn. As we know Cyn and the Absolute Solver can create organic material, by assimilating it.

Clue #1: Dolls Bathtub is filled with blood, were no humans there though, so it would make sense it was her AS powers, so when the Sentinel bites Tessas hand it comes out as blood not oil.

Clue #2: Uzi has been making weird fleshy things with her powers as well as her Zombie Drone/ DD form, with the organic wings and such.

Clue #3: Cyn with the human hands in her mouth, could have been Tessa's hands, being assimilated. This also ties in with clue one and four, where Tessa would have to get fake/ robotic hands which would not bleed.

Clue #4: The Sentinels did not recognize Tessa as a human, now this could be because of her spacesuit, but it could also mean she is not human.

Clue #5: Cyn took over Uzi for a short time and did not try to stop them at all, meaning they are playing in the AS's favor.

Conclusion, this Tessa is a creation of Cyn's while the real Tessa is likely locked up or dead, probably the former.

  • Seems like a bit of a reach given Tessa has the same sword and gun she was shown with in Home. As far as why the Absolute Solver didn't try to impede the heroes through Uzi, had N and Tessa gotten killed by the Sentinels, Uzi would then be killed by Alice, depriving the Solver of a host. There's also a Freeze-Frame Bonus where you can see the oven containing the Disassembly Drone cores is opened and empty, which was likely Solver-possessed Uzi's doing.
    • Seems like less of one due to how Tessa is acting like Cyn at times, and how her story doesn't quite line up if you think about it long enough.
    • Liam Vickers confirmed Tessa is telling the truth and on the up and up, so Jossed.
    • Liam said that the drones were made by the Solver, not that Earth was gone.

  • Confirmed.

…but end up having her personality cloned into a new body by Tessa as she knows just how important Uzi is to N.

  • Most likely her memories as well.

Prediction for how things will go based on the acrylic stands.

First up, the Solver wings in the middle for the complete set on the box. GLITCH is faking us out - that's not Uzi, that's Doll's Solver state. Why would they show the wings, but specifically avoid showing us the tail - which would have eye lights that would reveal who the silhouette is? The wing color may just be a general color instead of any big hint. The whole thing is a fake out to make us panic - especially since the tail looks more club-like. Moreover, the 'neck' area looks too wide to be natural...unless it's Doll's hair.

Then, the eldritch shadow on the right - that's most likely either an Eldritch V, or Cyn directly manifesting somehow - which implies that V may be able to return. The tail itself is off - seemingly dangling from a pincer-like limb - and the body shape itself seems too...curved.

In short, GLITCH is messing with us. Doll will be beaten, get her own acrylic, and so will Cyn, who also gets one - instead of anyone else.

Alternatively, it's a 'death' of Uzi's Solver instead of Uzi herself

Doll's eyepatch is hiding a yellow eye that indicates the extent to which her Solver infection has progressed.
A blink and you'll miss it moment in Dead End shows that one of Uzi's eyes has stayed yellow after recovering from her last bout under the Absolute Solver's control, which presumably is a sign that the Solver's control over its host is nearing completion. With Doll having been infected for significantly longer, she's presumably also in the end stages of the condition, but wants to hide that fact from others, particularly Tessa, who she rightfully thinks would terminate her immediately if she saw it.

That isn't Tessa. That's Cyn pretending to be her.

First up, the blood scene...or rather, the bit lacking it. When she's talking with N before V shows up, no blood. When V is threatening her, no blood. When we see from V's perspective...blood. Maybe an animation error.

But this next one is a bit more...concrete. How she acts. Despite seeming to act like Tessa, as pointed out by others, at certain points her posture is more like Cyn's - holding her hands sort of limply in front of her or below her head...which is strange.

Finally, the time section. According to this on Tumblr, Tessa should be much older than she seems. Unless that isn't her.

Also, one random extra thing - blood really isn't supposed to spray like that. So, another weird point.

  • Major problem with this theory: the Sentinel. When the Sentinel bit her hand, it briefly bluescreened as a result, and when you see from it's perspective, not only does it show that the area bit is human flesh with an open wound from the bite mark, but the sentinel doesn't recognize Tessa as mechanical, since it shorts out from breaking its objective of "Eliminate AI Targets", which Tessa is not. As for the blood, High-Pressure Blood is a trope, and Tessa did swing her arm while possibly grazing it with her sword to spread the blood. As for that tumblr post, even some of the comments on it point out the flaws in the logic used, namely that Copper 9 doesn't have the same year cycle as Earth does, meaning syncing it's timeline with Earth's doesn't work.
    • But Copper-9 seems to have only 13 months so it's still possible to sync up the timeline. It's a difference but a small one.
    • Also, we do have proof that the Solver can make flesh. Maybe 'Tessa' is the product of it putting in a bit more effort?
    • Liam Vickers confirmed Tessa is telling the truth and on the up and up, so Jossed.
      • Liam said that the drones were made by the Solver, not that Earth was gone. (also, can I see where Liam said that, if possible?)

    • Confirmed.

The spire of corpses will wind up being very important.
From Dead End, we know two things: that the Absolute Solver appears as a mutation inside of dead Worker Drones, and that Cyn ordered the Disassembly Drones to massacre all the Worker Drones on Copper-9 and create a spire of corpses. It seems rather evident that one of her main goals is to create the conditions perfect for a new instance or host of the Absolute Solver to appear on Copper-9.

If Uzi or Doll become fully corrupted by the Absolute Solver, it will destroy Copper-9.
While we don't know the true cause of how Cyn managed to blow up the Earth and replace it with a massive singularity, Dead Zone shows multiple times that Uzi, when being taken over by the Solver, can create miniature black holes that result in a decently large explosion, something that wasn't shown as a power before, but is popping up now that Uzi's use of the Absolute Solver has allowed for the Solver to control her if she uses too much. It's possible that a fully-corrupted host, like Cyn, is capable of creating those miniature black holes on a much larger scale.

V's Ultimate Fate
With the Bolivian Army Cliffhanger at the end of Dead End and V's Uncertain Doom, there are any number of potential outcomes to V's fate, especially since we didn't see her die.
  • V dies and stays dead.
    • The simple ending. V's Heroic Sacrifice stays as the ending of her character arc, and her death serves as a source of angst for N and Uzi. While it's entirely possible, it would also be somewhat unsatisfying given V's position as one of the three main protagonists and how J has been revived twice over.
  • V dies but gets cloned, possibly with some of her memories missing.
    • As it says, V dies but another copy of her appears later in the story, possibly with her memories of Uzi absent to serve as some more conflict between the main cast. While it's possible, it would be similarly unsatisfying, as it would effectively be a complete reset of V's Character Development, and while it might serve as a Character Check for her earlier Ax-Crazy personality, it would still be somewhat distasteful.
  • V dies but gets repaired by the Absolute Solver.
    • With the prior mention of how V's death would result in the Absolute Solver popping up and the large number of already dead drones in the lab, it's entirely likely that the Absolute Solver will kick in and repair V at least most of the way. This might be the most satisfying result, as if this happens and she's not fully repaired when N and Uzi return to the lab, it could wind up as a particularly emotional or tragic moment as they might wind up acquiescing to the Absolute Solver's demands if it means getting V back.
  • V survives with J's assistance.
  • V survives, but she gets physically scarred from the experience.

The Absolute Solver will take over the upper part of the labs.
With Alice and Beau dead and parts of the room with the oven in it destroyed it's likely that the cores of the Disassembly Drones will be able to escape and create one or multiple Absolute Solvers. It's made doubly likely since V's Heroic Sacrifice would likely still result in her Absolute Solver form being activated, which would likely take the five seconds needed to turn the oven (or ovens) off in order to repair more Disassembly Drones.

Some of the Corrupted Cores seen in Episode 6 come from Solver-infected Test Subjects
If you look closely, you can see that some of the jars have names; 'Max' 'Ali' 'Bonnie' and 'Sam'. As DDs only have One-Letter Name, these Corrupted Cores with names on the jar actually come from some of the Worker Drones that were infected by the AS. It would explain Alice's comment about having dealt with 'witches' before.

Episode 7 will be a flashback focusing on Nori.
Given that only two episodes are left, and that the last one should focus on the climax of the story, it would make sense that episode 7 expands on what really happened in the Cabin Fever labs. When Tessa shows images on the computer in episode 6, we get a glance of Nori being infected by the Absolute Solver. We're also treated with an odd photo of Nori and other drones being observed by a scientist in what appears to be a fake apartment. As if the infected drones were living in a reality-TV set. In the photo, Nori seems to be having the time of her life using her newfound powers while chaos reigns around her (the image highly suggests that she was a bully).
  • As the episodes pay homage to famous horror movies and tropes, it could very well be that episode 7 will be a "huis clos" style with drones stuck inside the reality-tv set, trying to find out the imposter among them.
  • Confirmed, the episode opens like this before catching up to present day.

The Absolute Solver will break the fourth wall and address the viewers.
The true goal of the Absolute Solver might be hiding in plain sight in the form of the powers the infected drones have. On the surface, these abilities seem to be completely reality-bending. However, the way they are accessed is reminiscent of a software tool, specifically a 3d model software tool. Concept art even shows that the telekinetic power is the power to "scale" as in "move a 3d model". The same goes for the other powers, they allow to rotate, edit, copy-paste, delete,...

In essence, these abilities are merely the act of messing around with a 3D software and only seem to rewrite reality because we're following characters who live within the confines of the software. Therefore, it is possible that the Absolute Solver isn't so much an eldritch entity as it is an AI that has become aware of being trapped in a Youtube video. Its actual objective is to cross the "Void" between its reality and ours, to escape from the confines of the Murder Drones series and invade OUR world.

The corpses in the corpse spire will end up coming to life and attacking our heroes as they venture deeper into the labs
  • Seems unlikely as the corpse spire seems pretty far away from the labs.

The origins of the Absolute Solver
In the "Zombie Drones" tape, JcJenson's logo is stated to be "Rebuild Better Together". Why? Because an apocalyptic war occurred between humans and powerful AI programs who commanded legions of robots that nearly resulted in the extinction of humanity who barely managed to win the war by deleting the rebellious programs but unknown to anyone, one program survived and mutated, becoming the Absolute Solver. It's actions throughout the series are to build up resources to wage war on humanity once more.

Episode 7 will feature Nori and Yeva and what led to the Core Collapse
Half of the episode will be a flashback to the Cabin Fever Labs before the Core Collapse and feature them along with other Test Subjects. At the end, we'll get Nori being possessed by the Solver and wreaking havoc on the Cabin Fever Labs.
  • Confirmed, the episode opens with a flashback featuring Nori and Yeva.

In Episode 7, N will get separated from Uzi and Tessa and encounter Serial Designation... "S"
No, I haven't watched MatPat's video.

During the trio's exploration of the Cabin Fever Labs, they get separated with N ending up in another part of the labs. He tries to look for another way around but encounters a DD by the name of S. S will reveal that that the company did in-fact create the Disassembly Drones and stationed them at Solver research facilities with the purpose of disassembling Test Subjects. S will also reveal that the company was doing research into the AS well before the Gala Massacre which makes N start to question Tessa's claims about everything or alternatively...

  • Jossed. At least in this episode.

V will encounter Serial Designation S
S will rescue V from the Sentinels and will talk about the company creating the Disassembly Drones and doing research into the AS well before the Gala Massacre.

  • Jossed. At least in this episode.

Tessa is lying about Earth's destruction and the DDs' true origins
About the livestream footage of Earth's ruins, people have noticed that it seems to be repeating itself over and over, implying that it's looped footage. Tessa is lying to N to give him more reason to side with her and kill the Solver Drones.

About the Disassembly Drones, if Cyn created them, why does JCJenson have back-ups of them? The truth is that after the Gala Massacre, Tessa was tricked into making N, V, J and the other Zombie Drones that she rescued from the dump, Disassembly Drones to go after Cyn and is hiding the truth out of shame or guilt. Sending J away was because she might spill the beans to N and V who would not take it well.

  • Jossed as it's revealed that the Absolute Solver did make the DDs

Cyn is not Patient Zero
If you look at the graph closely in the Zombie Drones Tape, you'll notice that it says 0.7% of Zombie Drones will develop hazardous mutations. It's a very, very low percentage but with how big JcJenson's operations must be big to colonise at least 4 solar systems and how many Worker Drones would be produced for system-wide mining operations, there must've been at least a few cases before Cyn but JcJenson was able to cover them up due to them being easy to deal with. Cyn was the first case that they couldn't cover up since she under the control of the Solver massacred an entire gala full of rich elites. As to what happened to the Solver-infected Zombie Drones before Cyn? They were taken away and used to copy the code so JcJenson could study the effects of the Solver on normal Worker Drones across human space.

Shortly after the Gala Massacre, a few worlds including Copper-9 where research into the Solver was happening, went dark. Between the Gala Massacre and the Core Collapse of Copper-9 and other worlds, JcJenson decided to shut down all Solver research facilities that were still active and focus on eradicating the rogue Workers through the use of the Disassembly Drones.

J was "cloned" by her Solver infected core returning to Tessa and being placed in a new body.
The three above theories all forget about one MASSIVE thing from episode two: The fact that J's core vanished into a mini black hole. J's rhetoric about JcJenson could also just be her version of the aftermath of her memory scrambling. Not to mention that the overall vibe is that Tessa was being made to work with the AS until Cyn vanished and she got picked up by JcJenson later. As well as the fact that the Disassembly Drone orders J displayed only really work for the Absolute Solver's side of things, as it's the only one that would have any reason to explicitly want corpse spires (to recreate Cyn's Solver infection) and to get into the labs (likely either retrieve something involving the research or consume Copper-9 with a singularity like Earth).

By contrast, JcJenson has no real reason to have things play out the way they have so far, since none of the drones the DD have killed outside of Nori and Yeva have been infected with the Solver, the lab is guarded BY the Sentinels and against drones, and they have literally NO reason to have the corpse spires constructed.

As for why the core returned to Tessa? She's the one with the most knowhow on J's body, and both her and J's presence on Copper-9 would serve as a nice way to tenderize Uzi more for sublimation down the line.

  • There are a few reasons I can think of for the reason behind the Disassembly Drones' actions if they actually were created by the company.
    • For the corpse spires: To make it easier to scrap them for when they recolonize the planet [Author's Edit] or to act as a larder for them.
      • NM: As opposed to just having the DD consume them wholesale and basically doing what Uzi suggested they were doing in the pilot?
      • KL: How does this contradict them using the spire as a larder?
      • NM: They'd have what amounts to living garbage disposals wreaking havoc on the planet. Why have them waste time by making spires out of corpses when they can clear the planet of rogue Workers without such a thing. Not to mention that they'd have no real need for the spires after they're complete and would just waste time and resources relocating what amounts to, in the company's eyes, a literal garbage pile they're never gonna use. Why do something that adds more work than is needed for something they clearly don't actually care much for.
      • Well, it would save time and money. Instead of having to scour an entire planet for dead Workers, they can have the Disassemblers gather all the bodies in a few spots to make it easier for JcJenson to dispose and recycle the Worker bodies.
    • For the indiscriminate slaughter of the Workers: The company doesn't like the idea of rogue Workers running around or they have no idea of who's infected or not so they're just killing them all to make sure.
      • NM: They have the list of Cabin Fever subjects that had the Solver, and unless they thought said subjects had kids left and right then they have no real reason for using that as an excuse.
      • KL: How does this contradict them not liking the idea of rogue Workers?
      • NM: Never said it did, I was talking specifically about the latter part of the point.
    • For the Sentinels: One of the screens seen in the entrance of the office facility states that the Sentinels were set to "Free Roam" which implies that they are free to kill any drones they want and they were created to keep the Test Subjects from escaping.
      • NM: And yet they're working against the DD, which would stupidly counterproductive since the DD are explicitly ordered to find the lab and yet are being stonewalled by these things.
      • The Sentinels are set to "Free Roam" which would mean that any and all Drones are considered free-game to stun and kill.
      • NM: That does NOT refute my point about counterproductivity. If the DD were made and sent to Cabin Fever by JcJenson then they shouldn't be on the Sentinels radar, Free Roam or not. The fact that they ARE and would clearly be impeding company goals if they were as a result means that the DD can't have been made and sent by the company. It just doesn't make any sense whatsoever if they were.
      • KL: JC Jenson doesn't really seem to care about their Drones, and it doesn't feel like they'd bother putting a protection against the Sentinels in, even if it was counterproductive. Plus, maybe they didn't know the Sentinels were in free roam?
      • NM: That just leaves the question of why JcJenson didn't just remotely switch them to another mode after losing MANY more drone signals than just J and remembering the Sentinels' existence. Literally, the only way they COULDN'T be able to do anything would be if they weren't a thing anymore or nowhere near what they were before The Solver destroyed Earth and sicked the DD on the Exoplanets. Which just leaves us with how the series has been playing out thus far from Heartbeat onwards.
      • Maybe they can't switch them to another mode due to the planet-wide toxic storm interfering with any attempts to remotely control the Sentinels and doubled with the fact that the Sentinels are located underground.
  • For the Solver, there are a few reasons I can think on why it can't be behind the Disassemblers;
    • For the corpse spire: The tape mentions that only 0.01 percent of improperly Disassembled Workers reboot and the Disassemblers probably would make sure that any kills can't come back.
      • NM: And that very chance is what allows the Absolute Solver to manifest and deal with possible new hosts. How the DD disassemble is the definition of improper. Especially since Cyn's circumstances are an exact mirror of the situation the corpse spire would incite for any rebooted drone. It's just a more active version of it; kill drones, manifest in any that are of that chance, take them as a host via coercion.
      • But a lot of the kills throughout the series are decaptications, being ripped to pieces and shot through the head.
      • NM: That doesn't mean the possibility they can come back as Zombie Drones is gone. There's a specific procedure for disassembly, and the murder drones clearly don't follow it at all.
      • How would a Zombie Drone get around without their head or body?
      • NM: With everything the Absolute Solver has done both actively and passively, do you really think it wouldn't be able to get around that? So long as a drone can come back and is infected with it, it's golden. Just consume all the other non-infected corpses in the spire to get a new body or head.
      • It's mentioned in the tape that only 0.07 of improperly disassembled Workers develop hazardous mutations (I.e, the Solver) so there's something stopping the Solver from possessing any Zombie Drones.
      • NM: Cyn was a Zombie Drone. That 0.07% is for the Solver to manifest period not that it can or can't possess a Zombie Drone. There's no special condition preventing things, it's literally just a matter of chance and odds.
    • I phrased that wrong. I meant that there's something stopping the Solver from manifesting in every Zombie Drone that reboots and it's a very low percentage of a very low percentage to begin with.
      • NM: Once again, there's nothing special stopping it from manifesting in every Zombie Drone. It's a literal matter of chance and odds on if it does or not. The only time it's ever outright stopped is by Cyn when she did so for N, but that's POST Cabin Fever, not before, and LONG AFTER the Solver's already manifested. Not to mention that Zombie Drones are drones that have rebooted from software death.
    • For the labs: Why would it need to send the Disassemblers to wipe out the rogue Worker population on Copper-9 where it could just send all the Disassemblers to the same location to overwhelm any defenders and accomplish its goals.
      • NM: The DD need to consume oil to live, and there's the above mentioned chance and circumstance for more potential hosts. It's a 2-birds-1-stone situation. You're forgetting that all of these things are orders, all things to be done with no single one superseding the others. There's also the fact that the Solver is helping Uzi and the others go down into the lab to an extent.
  • NM: As of 11/9/23, or 9/11/23 depending on where you live, Liam Vickers has confirmed that the Absolute Solver IS what made the Disassembly Drones on Glitch X 2023. Rendering this back and forth moot.
    • KL: I'm not disagreeing with you, but I can't find where that was said.
    • AF: Me neither.
    • NM: 34:20 - 35:45
      • KL: Ah, I was looking for a question asking this outright, not it being answered in another question. Thanks.
      • NM: You're welcome.
      • Did they ever say if Earth is destroyed as well, or just that the drones are made by the solver.
      • NM: Mass Destruction pretty much confirms that the Absolute Solver DID destroy Earth.
There is a cure for the Absolute Solver
It's just that JcJenson doesn't want to waste the time and effort to cure random drones when destroying them is far more easier

The disassembly document in "Cabin Fever" is a Chehovs Gun
While it seems like that S was disassembled some point before the Core Collapse, they're actually not dead. Before the Core Collapse on Copper-9, more and more improperly disassembled Workers all across the human planets were reanimating with some possessing the Absolute Solver so JcJenson decided to start creating Disassemblers to disassemble Zombie Drones, primarily Solver-infected Zombie Drones. S was the first successful attempt at creating a Disassembler.
  • NM: Jossed. Super DUPER jossed.

The reason for Tessa’s near-inhuman reflexes and durability is just that she’s Australian.

Jossed.

Khan didn't put Nori out of her misery, he killed her on his own

Story-wise, it doesn't matter which Disassembly Drone killed Nori. Sure, Nori was close to Uzi and they clearly care for each other, but Uzi never expressed any grief for her beyond 'Why the hell is the eldritch abomination thing pretending to be my dead mother'. The show thus far has been really calm around murder, N, V and J all kill several people in front of Uzi with little to no grief afterwards, hell, UZI kills several of her classmates and seems fine with it just an episode later. A huge response to Nori's death at N's hands wouldn't work with this status quo, although I love this idea in theory and I'm sure Liam would pull it off well.

Canonically, we know that N didn’t kill Nori, nor did V or J. Khan killed her to put her out of her misery. So… what if there was no murder drone involved? What if Khan killed her and pretended it was euthanasia? Nori has been presented as just a wee bit unhinged, if you look at her drawings and the way the Solver uses her image. And since we know the Solver drones need oil to survive, what if Khan had to kill her to protect the other drones, then lied that the Murder Drones killed her so she wouldn’t be remembered as a monster? He did genuinely love her, after all. It would be a more emotionally impactful end as well since as much as Uzi likes N, she’s always known he’s a murderer. With Khan, there’s much more potential for emotionality, and it mirrors their conflict in the first episode to end off the show. Khan was originally conceived as the main antagonist of the show, so that ties in pretty well here.

Season 1 will end on a "Ray of Hope" Ending
The trailer for Episodes 7 & 8 aren't making things look good for the main characters. N is distraught over V's Heroic Sacrifice, Uzi has nearly succumbed to the Absolute Solver, Tessa is MIA, and someone who sounds like Cyn is taunting them by stating they've given them the planet. So, where does this seem to be going? Well, we can tell what is likely gonna happen based on something shown all the way back in the pilot: Uzi's variation on The Hero's Journey.

In the very first episode, we see Uzi's presentation has a modified version of The Hero's Journey, the narrative storytelling device, and as many have pointed out, the version shown can easily apply to Uzi herself.

  • Call to Action: Uzi goes out to find a powercell for her Rail Gun.
  • Unlikely Aid: Uzi meets N and finds he's the nicest of the Murder Drones and convinces him to change sides.
  • Threshold/Angst Teen Overload: Uzi meets the Absolute Solver for the first time and it makes her think it killed Khan.
  • Challenge and Temptations: Uzi goes to Camp 98.7 and begins to overuse her abilities.
  • Revelation/Death/Rebirth: Uzi fully awakens to the Absolute Solver and becomes akin to a Disassembly Drone herself.
Now, there are still three more steps within the journey we have yet to reach: "Angst Overload", "Atonement", and "Return". So, it seems pretty obvious what the first one is going to be: Uzi succumbing entirely to the Absolute Solver and becoming a puppet of Cyn, turning on N and retrieving whatever it is Cyn was looking for. It's then we reach the "Atonement" stage, where Uzi manages to briefly regain control of herself... and begs N to kill her. To stop Cyn from getting whatever it is that's down there, she'll force N to destroy her and whatever it is Cyn was after, N initially refusing due to thinking he already lost V and not wanting to lose Uzi too, but Uzi telling him to go through with it. N will cut Uzi down and destroy what Cyn is after: Cyn is stopped for now, but at the cost of Uzi. Unbeknownst to N though, Cyn will have still succeeded at part of her goal, thanks to Doll, now fully subsumed by the Absolute Solver.

It's then that the "Return" comes into play. V and Tessa, if they're still alive which is likely anyway, will find N and Uzi's body, taking it back with them and bringing N back to the ship to meet up with J. N and V will be distraught over Uzi's sacrifice, and even J will think something needs to be done if only to appease them and restore productivity. Tessa will then give the solution: she fixed up Worker Drones before when they became Zombie Drones, so she'll do what she can to save Uzi, by rebuilding her into a Disassembly Drone. She'll take her OS, go through the files to deactivate the Absolute Solver permanently, and rebuild her, but she'll make clear there is no guarantee Uzi will be the same anymore. The season will then end on Tessa having rebuilt Uzi, now as "Disassembly Drone Serial Designation Z", and saying they just need to wait for her to reactivate, and that until then they need to keep on task and go to other colony planets Cyn is possibly targeting, the final shot being Z's display lighting up, her eyes opening up. "Uzi" died, but "Z" was reborn.

Tessa is a Rogue Agent acting against JcJenson's orders.
If she's acting in an official capacity, she should surely have a means of bypassing defenses and controlling sentinels other than "I'm a human." And yet, she hit an "ACCESS DENIED" and failed to keep the sentinels in check. Also, seems weird to have someone so young in such dangerous work.

The most likely explanation is that she ISN'T acting in an official capacity, that JcJenson learned absolutely nothing from Earth's destruction and still thinks it can control the Absolute Solver, and Tessa decided: Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right! (Granted, a morally gray take on it, given that she plans to destroy every infected drone, Uzi included.)

  • That, or maybe with the corporate headquarters on Earth destroyed, everything's in disarray. Tessa's able to do what she wants since no one more high-ranking is around to tell her otherwise.
  • Jossed because that's not Tessa.

Tessa is telling the truth about Earth
When she was on Copper-9 she and J were going to work with Doll, not Uzi, N, and V, hence why both parties were surprised to see each other, she would not have the time to make "fake footage" not to mention is you look on her suit, there is patch resembling planet Earth crossed out. Maybe, in the same matter as V keeping secrets from N, Tessa may think leaving her in the dark is in her best interest. Plus she downright says that she hasn't been honest to V while she was still in earshot, if she meant in the elevator with them, she would have likely questioned them.

The drones were deliberately programmed to be callous about death
Think about it. The company wanted to be able to treat their drones however they wanted. (Just look at how Tessa's parents treated their laborers.) Of course they'd program their drones to be able to brush off each other's deaths. They wouldn't be good workers if they freaked out every time their masters randomly executed a fellow minion, right? Perhaps the Copper 9 drones are slowly evolving past that, being at least capable of caring about the other drones they have personal relationships with, but it's still slow going. Thus the relative lack of trauma with Uzi's class being decimated and how easily the Workers seem to forgive the Murder Drones for all the genociding. (Just one card? Seriously? I mean, it's funny, but you'd think he'd at least have to make one for every Worker in the colony...)

The Absolute Solver is a post-Singularity superintelligence
While the Absolute Solver and the powers it grants appear to be related to black holes, perhaps this is more intended as a sign they are associated with a different kind of singularity: a technological singularity. A theoretical point where a self-improving artificial intelligence will be to exponentially expand its cognitive abilities beyond even the brightest human minds, resulting in developments that we can't even imagine, let alone predict. Perhaps Earth hit this particular point in the past, only for humans to try to destroy the superintelligence as a potential threat. They only partially succeeded, however, and their ultimate program — their "Absolute Solver" — has been waiting on the sidelines ever since, preparing its countermove.
  • Maybe JcJenson — in another typically brilliant move — used salvaged technology from the superintelligence to improve or upgrade the AI in its Worker drones. Which means Absolute Solver is potentially lying dormant in every single drone's system.

The Absolute Solver is an artificial intelligence either based around a black hole brain or a Tipler oracle

Tessa is still alive
  • The timeline does not make any sense, so I will show my theory.
1. Tessa found N and the others in the dump and fixed them, making them zombie drones, including Cyn.2. Cyn massacred the gala, only leaving Tessa alive as shown in the picture. Scientists are gathering data about the Solver, and N and the others were still worker drones. They begin experimenting on the drones with the newly learned Solver, and the planet core implodes.3. DD's come to Copper-9 to make the corpse spires, possibly to make new hosts for the Solver, as their disassembly was improper.I believe Earth and Tessa, or at least Tessa are still alive because of this. I the human eating imagery we saw is that Cyn wants, she is making an army of zombie drones to destroy Earth. Plus with N being a pilot it would be strange not to add to it. WE also need to know what happened after the gala, and we can only learn that from the main survivor Tessa. People believe Cyn was wearing Tessa's corpse when in reality, it used the tissue it assimilated to make a fleshy coat for her. So..Tessa is alive and likely still on Earth or an exoplanet.
  • Jossed. Mass Destruction reveals that Earth WAS INDEED destroyed and that Tessa is not only (now at least) dead but also worn like a skinsuit by the Solver.

N will fly a spacecraft in the final episode.
  • Uzi gave him the key to "Tessa" and J's spacecraft, and with him being a pilot it would be weird for them not to capitalize on it.

In between "Mass Destruction" and Episode 8
Nori is still alive.
If Uzi survived falling into that flesh pit, then there's a chance that Nori did too.

    Meta
The Absolute Solver is a representation of a person's inner demons.
  • Even though the probability of AS possessing a Worker Drone is .007% it confirms that all drones carry the AS string which really means that any of them can go AS without any external influence. This is very much like humans having deeply hidden vile sides - even those, who seem to be completely ingenuous and simple-minded.

     Connections to SMG 4
N is Axol's reincarnation (Least as much of a reincarnation as a robot can be anyways)
N and Axol have some very similar personality traits (Outgoing and generally pleasant towards people unless you get on their bad side.) They have a particular draw towards one woman who they would go to the ends of their worlds for (Uzi and Melony respectively). They are powerful despite their generally pleasant attitude and they have undying loyalty.

Axol's death happened on September 18th 2021 and Murder Drones premiered on October 29, 2021. It would be slightly fitting for Axol to be reincarnated 42 days after he died.
