They are currently fighting against a Mechanical Abomination but who says one can’t Squee after someone invites them to their party after saying they are cool?
In a World… with Killer Robots, a reality-bending computer virus, and killer robots infected by said computer virus, there's still some wholesome, fuzzy moments.

All spoilers are left unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

Episode 1 - Pilot

  • The Worker Drones' lives after the extinction of humanity on Copper 9. While the event was horrible for humans, it wasn't the Drones' fault, subverting the standard murder robot scenario, and allowing them to finally have a place of their own, where they're free to do what they want. They can even start families.
  • Uzi's talk with Thad. It's the first time in her life when someone casually talks to her without treating her like an outcast. She's so baffled that it makes her "blush". After yelling and stomping out, she assures him she's not mad at him, just angry in general.
  • N is a people robot person. When he thinks Uzi is a Disassembly Drone, he bonds quickly, answering all her questions and revealing he only slaughters droids because it's his job; he cares about whether he's a liability to his companions and, even after his optics are fixed and he realises Uzi is a Worker, he protects V from Uzi and later admits he that he did enjoy their short time together; that talk had a big enough impact on him that he questions the parameters of their mission to J, and he scoops Uzi onto his shoulders when she collapses in exhaustion after the final battle. Throughout the episode, it's clear that his personality isn't into murder, and he'd rather just be friends with everyone.

Episode 2- Heartbeat

  • Thad remains to be the nicest Worker Drone. He brings Uzi her Railgun and uses the opportunity to thank her for saving his life. He even asks for her help to figure out the latest disappearances.
    • He also doesn't mind N's presence, even giving him friendly thumbs up.
  • It's played for laughs, but N's apology for murdering Worker Defense Force is genuine. He even draws an apology card.
    • Bonus point for the guard for accepting it. He even hangs it in his booth. If you look closely at N while he does this, he gains a little blush.
  • As thanks for saving him (again) Thad invites Uzi and N to his party. Their reaction? A super adorable Squee.
  • The reveal that V's chains were already broken and yet that she decided to still keep N company, this is what started hinting at the fact that V might still care about N.
  • She might be motivated by self-preservation or protecting Lizzy, but Doll breaking the door saved her classmates' (and their teacher and Khan's) lives.

Episode 3 - The Promening

  • N and Uzi reuniting and making amends.
N: I could help. But you probably don't want me...
Uzi: N-no! I could use the... help... of you... being there? (Blushing) ...with me?
  • Uzi gives an impassioned speech about working together to make sense of everything, it seems to have won both Khan and V over, but not Doll.
  • Khan, for once, decided to run in and help his daughter. Unfortunately for him, Doll slammed the doors in his face before he could get in.

Episode 4 - Cabin Fever

  • It's only shown in a brief flashback, but we see that Khan tells Uzi more about Nori's past and the camp that she came from before requesting that Uzi would at least keep herself safe when she explores that area.
  • We can see that the Worker Drones are able to quickly get along with the Disassembly Drones when they aren't in constant "genocidal rampage" mode, moreso with N due to his friendliness.
  • Easy to miss, but it's hurting N that snaps Uzi out of her rampage. It really says a lot about how close they are since all the drones that Uzi kills in the episode are ones she's known for years.
  • N and Uzi share a moment with one another as they're freefalling, with the former providing a hefty dose of emotional support to the latter, who is feeling scared of what she's become and what she might do to him. N explains during the moment that the night actually felt scary because Uzi wasn't there to make it fun. Uzi responds saying she feels the same way. They even have a little fun with the newly-formed jaw-tail Uzi has before they hit the ground.
N (voicing the jaw tail): Then we will stick together!
Uzi: *chuckles* Don't freaking touch it!
    [Beat]
Uzi (also voicing the tail): Plus, my voice is more like- *Uzi and N hit the ground*
  • Right after N helps Uzi calm down, Lizzy is grossed out by this, and almost gets into a fight with V. Lizzy dismisses V, telling her that she's been such a diva lately. V smiles, as Lizzy is treating her like one of the girls, instead of as a murder drone.
  • Apparently all the planet's dogs were evacuated before the core ruptured. Also they are immortal thanks to science.
  • Although she wasn't shy about being creepy during the process, V did seem to show some care for Uzi when she lied about what happened to the missing campers, which is a stark contrast against how she was originally trying to kill her.

Episode 5 - Home

  • N and Cyn had somewhat of an older brother-younger sister dynamic in a past, with Cyn even calling him such. With that:
    • Cyn stepping up in response to Louisa telling Tessa to throw the drones away and N taking the blame for Cyn talking against their masters and taking the punishment.
    • In return, it seems like this treatment has carried to the present, if the "STRING 'ABSOLUTE SOLVER' BLOCKED BY ADMINISTRATION 'CYN'" from the first episode goes by anything.
  • When Tessa was first introduced, the obvious assumption one can make is that she's simply playing dress-up with the Worker Drone staff of her family's mansion... but now, seeing her interactions with them as well as with her 'parents', it's clear that she outright regards N, J, V and—for a time—Cyn as her best friends, if not family. And going by how J treated her... the sentiment was very much reciprocated. She even begged her mother not to throw them out.
    • J was helping Tessa get ready for the gala and was even calming her down before getting ready to talk to other people.
    • Tessa was genuinely happy to see N and even swung him around. When N was confused about Cyn being locked up, Tessa was about to gently explain to him why before her mother interrupted.
    • When they were all chained in Tessa’s bedroom, Tessa yelled at Cyn, with an implied threat that there would be consequences if N got killed for Cyn’s sake since he took the blame for it.
  • Cyn has possessed V and is using her to erase N's memories for good, only V can't pick up the scalpel due to her poor eyesight. N's reaction, rather than beg for his life, he gives V her glasses so that she can pick up the scalpel followed by a reassuring "I got you".
    • Special mention to why N does this. He had just been sitting nervously in the chair but when CYN gets frustrated with V and grabs V's head angrily, that is when N gives V her glasses. He readily helped in his own digital lobotomy to protect V from CYN's anger.
    • This is immediately followed by V reiterating what N was reading about Golden Retrievers earlier
      V: Gold... en Retrievers have...
      N: ...Gentle mouths, dude.

Episode 6 - Dead End.

  • In the beginning of the episode, despite being clearly terrified, 029 still tries to help one of her fellow WDs get to safety before the Sentinels kill them both.
  • Tessa is clearly overjoyed to see N again, showing that she never stopped caring for the drones.
  • V carries Uzi on her back until she regains consciousness. While not much focus is brought to the moment, it's a subtle sign that V is warming up to her.
  • After N and Tessa reunite with V and Uzi, both N and V repeatedly stop Uzi from using the Absolute Solver even during the fight against the Sentinels. They both know that if Uzi uses the Absolute Solver much more, she might end up fully possessed by the Absolute Solver, and neither of them want that to happen to her.
  • Although the ending of V being heavily implied to have been ripped apart by the Sentinels is as heartbreaking as it sounds, she at the very least goes out fighting to ensure the others can progress.
    • Furthermore, what are V's last words before being separated from the gang?
      V: Uzi... I trust you.

Episode 7 - Mass Destruction

  • Despite all her faults, Nori deeply cares for Uzi and fights the Solver with N to save her.
  • After Uzi finally regains control of herself and swats (not knowing it was her) her mother off of her, N and Uzi start to scream in confusion… only for both to stop and hug and comfort each other.
  • When they are both being dragged of to the meat hole by the Absolute Solver, Uzi sees the key of the spaceship of J so she decides to give N another chance in life by kicking him out of the church with the key so that only she is dragged off. Just like how V saved them, Uzi is now saving N. Really shows how close they have become ever since they met.
