General

Series

     Episode ZERO
  • Juru getting excited over drawing his classmate? Not too unusual for an artistically inclined young man. Him making noises that sounds more like he's surfing while doing it? Hilarious.
  • Just the fact that Sayo immediately accepts that a sentient jewel from another planet wants to team up with her to save the Earth.
  • While Sayo's inclusion makes sense given that she's a renowned doctor, the rest of the Kiramgers are an actor, a track and field star, and an esports player. Mabushina doubts each of the choices the Kiramai Stones makes, wondering if these are really the best people to be defending the planet. When the team comes together to prove her wrong, it's both this and a CMOA.
  • During Tametomo's fight, his Kiramai Stone says that he may have underestimated him and calls him funny. Tametomo lets out an amused "Hey!" in mock protest.
  • After an apparent case of Mentor Occupational Hazard and a serious fistfight against the Mooks, it turns out that Professor Hakataminami faked the whole thing as a training exercise. No one is happy with this, least of all Princess Mabushina, who proceeds to headbutt him. Considering she has a jewel for a head, the rest of the team winces in sympathy, even Shiguru.
  • After staying the whole day invested in Juru's drawing and believing there was more to him than she first thought, Kakihara finds his drawing to be...rather shoddy. She isn't happy that she wasted her time for nothing. Even better, Juru keeps explaining the details of his drawing to her as she leaves, not noticing she's leaving until she's actually left the room.
    • Worth noting at this point is that the picture shows Kakihara with some ginormous twisted aura coming out of her from behind, like something out of Junji Ito's works.

Episode 1: The Mashins are Born!
  • The fact that the first thing the students at Juru's school decide to do when they spot the monster is take pictures of the damn thing instead of RUNNING FOR THEIR LIVES is somewhat amusing.
  • The first thing Juru thinks he should do at the sight of a battle involving the Kiramaigers? Draw them.
    • It's quite amusing seeing how invested he is into drawing the Kirameigers, to the point where Juru keeps on moving while unknowingly dodging the mooks' attacks. And when he ends up getting hit while trying to draw Sayo, no one notices.
  • When trying to draw Shiguru, the first thing he does is push him a great distance with his sword. Jetter begins to freak out, thinking he just killed a civilian.
  • When Juru is introduced to the Kiramaigers, he's running around and fanboying over each of them. He then gets to Tametomo... and draws a blank. The latter's reaction is priceless.
  • After the Kiramai Stones take on their vehicle forms, Juru goes over them with each of the members. While everyone else gets something cool, what does Tametomo get? An excavator. He was not pleased in the slightest.
    • There's also a specific reason why he's pissed in particular. While everyone gets a vehicle that complements their skill set (i.e Sena gets a super-car for her speed, Shiguru gets a fighter jet that makes use of his swordsmanship), why does Tametomo get an excavator? Because he's yellow. That's it. Not because of his skills, just the color. Aptly put here:
Tametomo: Just the color?! What about the skillset?!
    • Shiguru in a monotone lampshades that his Kiramai Stone being a jet was because he is sharp.
    • Oh, did we mentioned Juru dropped the honorifics with his teammates that are older than him?
  • In a deleted scene, Juru has an freakout over calling the shots that basically screams Adorkable.

Episode 2: Proof of a Leader
  • They reveal that the blue material forming the guns and swords is a highly unique gem material, and Juru needs more of it. Turns out it's made from Mabushina's tears crystallising, and they get her to cry harmlessly by reading her favourite manga - which is the fictionalization of the real story of the Lupinrangers that one of that show's supporting characters wrote. It's something of a Take That Me when you consider that that season was one of the financially less successful ones.
    • Then it Crosses the Line Twice when the gems are used for a special crystal effigy that turns into a solid clone of any of the Kiramagers, starting with Blue... except that clone-Blue is a slovenly, lifeless bugger that anyone would find fishy anyway.
    • Shiguru's reactions to the whole thing are a riot to behold. To boot, he goes from confused to absolutely freaked out at the clone in a matter of minutes. His face when he turns around to the others is pure comedy gold.
    • In a deleted scene, Shiguru deactivates it by bumping his butt. Seems like Juru learned from the best.
  • The "Super Sentai" Stance has both the girls hefted gracefully off the ground like it was a figure skating routine. The kicker is that the episode has no more context for this than the previews showcasing it.
  • In a deleted scene, Tametomo asks Juru to imagine up some gourmet sushi. The fact that the suggestion comes completely out of nowhere really makes it funny.

Episode 3: The Vice Guy! No Advice Needed
  • The Kiramagers all show up to battle Vice Jamen... except for Shiguru who runs in a second later than the others still dressed as a samurai.
Shiguru: I apologize for the delay.
Sayo: (teasingly) Back from the Sengoku period, huh?
Shiguru: Fortunately, it was time for lunch.
    • What makes it funnier is that Shiguru doesn't break character until he transforms. From the way he talks, to even the way he runs into the scene.
  • After the episode builds up Shiguru as being the Kiramagers' ace, how does Vice Jamen distract him long enough to get a vice on his head? By pointing off-screen and saying "look over there". And it works!
  • The gang's attempts to remove the vice.
    • Operation: Wire Attack: Sayo and Juru tie wires around the vice and try to pull it off.
    • Operation: Heavy-duty Cutting: Sena tries to cut it off using an electric saw.
    • Operation: William Tell: Tametomo tries to shoot it off; at that, Shiguru turns to the camera and says "Kids... Don't Try This at Home."
  • Shiguru insisting that he still film despite the searing pain of the vice. When the team questions if he can do it, he shoots them a Death Glare that makes them back down almost immediately - with some hilarious expressions on top of that.
  • Shiguru still tries to maintain his stoic attitude in front of his crew during the shoot, after which he goes to his dressing room and starts hollering in pain, revealing that he couldn't bear the vice being stuck in his head for so long. Then Sena, Juru and Tametomo show up, having witnesses his Not So Stoic behavior.
Shiguru: (after calmly and coolly walking into his dressing room and closing the door) NYAARGH! AAHH! (whimpering sounds) HOLY MOLY, IT HURTS! (various shots of him trying to pry it off) WHAT THE FUDGE!? (more shots of him trying to take it off) I CAN'T TAKE IT! I CAN'T TAKE ONE MORE—
Sena: (sliding back the curtain) So it does hurt!
Shiguru: WAAAAAAAH!! (lowers his head and raises it again, his face a perfect mask of composure) What hurts?
  • Immediately after this, the team is called to battle. Shiguru proceeds to head out but Juru grabs his arm.
Juru: I'm telling you this as the team leader: Please, wait here.
Shiguru: (whirls around and shoots Juru a Death Glare)
Juru: AH! I didn't mean to shout an order! Please forgive me! (bows)
Tametomo & Sena: (smacking him) Quit apologizing!
Shiguru: (over the sounds of war horns) TO BATTLE!!
  • At the end of the episode, Shiguru appears in an interview where he says that he's going to try and show a more vulnerable side to himself, complete with him striking completely ridiculous looking cutesy poses. He then ends the interview by saying "Sounds weird, don't it?" with a head-tilt. The scene then cuts to the other four watching the interview, slowly turning to Shiguru and imitating his line, complete with head-tilt. They then proceed to tease him relentlessly with Shiguru looking like he's trying not to cry!
    • During the closing credits, we see an awesome looking shot of the newly formed Kiramaizin turning slowly towards the camera, holding its sword until...
      Jetter: Sounds weird, don't it?
      Shiguru: ENOUGH ALREADY!!

Episode 4: Princess of the Lost Kingdom
  • The episode opens with Sena, Shiguru and Tametomo arguing whether their latest defeat should be called “Neanderthal Jamen” or “Neanderthal Man Jamen”.
  • Shiguru twirling in a dramatic fashion before the team transforms.
  • Activating the Gemini's replicating involves grabbing its hand. How does Juru deactivate it? Bump butts. It makes a funny kind of sense.

     Episode 5: Shovellow Unleashed!
  • The plot convenience of a monster with a joypad for a head is one thing, but later on while the Kiramagers fight the monster, Tametomo's big strategy involves Shiguru restraining it from behind while Tametomo grabs and works the controls, making it look like hazing rather than fighting for everyone else without context.
  • Shovellow coming up with the "Shovellow Corps" note  in order to put Tametomo as leader. Hell, he even came up with the name "Tametomo Sentai Tamesukiger"! note

Episode 6: Suddenly Turning 5 Years Old
  • Sayo effortlessly flipping Shiguru after he was about to reveal something about her past. His look of pure shock afterwards is absolutely worth it.
  • When Shiguru and Sena get their photo taken before being captured, Sena actually complies with DigiCam Jamen and poses, and Shiguru begins screaming that he needs agency approval before taking his photo.
  • As Sayo fights DigiCam Jamen, Galza appears in his train and hits Sayo. Later when he emerges, he looks at her like "Shit, did I just hit something?".
  • 5-year-old Sayo gets to transform, and even has her own role call. Except, instead of the usual reference to her adult self's dexterity, the role call is themed after her favorite food.
Sayo: DELICIOUS CHICKEN AND BEANS! KIRAMAI PINK!
  • Once 5-year-old Sayo finally transforms and starts piloting Helico, she attacks the monster in the best way possible. Hitting all the buttons.
    • While she does this, Helico complains that Sayo's button-mashing is causing her to make sensitive sounds.
    • It is mentioned in Kiratalk that Sayo mashing the buttons caused Heliko to literally fart at Cloud Hildon. Yes, this coming from a feminine Mashin.
  • DigiCam Jamen getting crushed to death by the falling Cloud Hildon.
  • Sayo running around the base with Mabushina.
  • The face Sena makes when she realizes that Sayo was back to normal after crashing into Mabushina.

     Episode 7: Training for You
  • The others arguing about how to divide up their time in training Juru. Shiguru suggesting that Juru only get three hours of sleep has to take the cake.
  • Tametomo simply dropping Sena out of their team pose while Shiguru gently puts Sayo down when the two Jamenshi start fighting each other.
  • Oven Jamen and Freezer Jamen fighting in the background as Galza is communicating with Carantula.

     Episode 8: Express Lightning
  • Juru hijacking Smog Jouki... with Galza still inside.
    • When Smog Jouki and Mashin Express separate, Galza is absolutely pissed, screaming at Juru that he will never hijack his mech again. What does Juru respond with?
Juru: Nope! Whenever we need it, I'll be taking it back.
    • The sheer amount of smug childishness in that response alone is hilarious by itself.
  • At the end of the episode, Juru is now training the other Kiramagers to draw, using Sayo as a model while the others have to sketch her. As noted by Tametomo, Juru is actually even harsher on them than they were on him when training him. To top it all off, not once does Juru lose his cool while critiquing them.

Episode 9: This is My Youthful Path of Karuta
  • Tametomo, Sayo, and Shiguru getting trapped in karuta cards that show off some very interesting, if not bizarre faces. There's even sounds of them groaning to go along with it!
  • Sena bluntly revealing that she has no idea what she's doing, but she's going to blaze on like always. Mabushina, Mach, and Juru's reaction make it all the much better.
  • The team doing their roll call in a manner more befitting a karuta reader. Hell, there's even a traditional Japanese background and writing behind them. The traditional "Super Sentai" Stance is more akin to samurai posing than their usually campy figure skating-esque pose. It still manages to just be as awesome and campy as their usual one. The Shinkengers would truly be proud.
  • King Express formation again. It's hilarious that Galza had no problem with combining and intentionally going with the flow until the fight is over instead of resisting persistently like the first time. Yes, that is exactly what happened.
  • The Stinger has Sena whacking a karuta card off-screen. The funny part kicks in when it's showing Tametomo's card from when he was trapped in Hyakunin Isshu Jamen. Tametomo's reaction makes it even more hilarious.

Episode 10: The Girl Who Chases After Shiguru
  • Oh poor Shiguru...for starters the middle of his salsiccia cheese dog got eaten because of Muryo.
    • To add on, Muryo didn't just simply cut out the middle of the sandwich; he straight up bit and ate into the middle of it.
  • Shiguru denying that he knows Iyo by yelling that it was his imagination. Then he goes on a hilarious Madness Mantra about it's totally not Iyo at all and that it was simply his imagination tricking him. This is despite the fact that he clearly recognized her and even yelled when he saw her shortly beforehand.
  • Shiguru straight up begging Sayo, in the most deadpan tone, to visit Iyo in his stead. The zooms make it way more funny and dramatic than it needs to be. Obviously Sayo doesn't take it and straight up drags Shiguru over to Iyo's place.
  • Shiguru having the best Oh, Crap! reaction when Iyo shows up at her place.
  • Shiguru explaining that Iyo is a slightly overenthusiastic fan of his. Cue the montage of her with full-on body pillows of Shiguru asking for his hand in marriage. Then we see Iyo's room being absolutely filled to the rim with posters and merchandise of Shiguru when she's talking with Music Jamen. The boy can't catch a break.
  • Music Jamen is revealed to have been invisible and clinging to Iyo's back the whole time, which is rather creepy if you know how this happens in actual ghost stories. Then it gets ridiculous when his big game plan upon being revealed is piggybacking her in return just to escape. Well, he's probably in better shape to do that instead of her, but still.
  • The Mashins calling out Shiguru for not rejecting Iyo "properly" and giving her false hope. Even Jetter calls him out!
  • Shiguru getting inspiration to take down Music Jamen from his sandwich. It somehow works.
  • Iyo rejecting Shiguru in favor of Sayo with a kick that would make a Kamen Rider proud. Then Sayo rejects Iyo in a fashion that screams Les Yay. Everyone's reaction to it is truly glorious.
    Juru: Now that's dazzling!
  • The Stinger has Sayo reject Iyo with the help of Helico. What makes it better is the dodgy graphics used to make Helico push Iyo out of the way.

     Episode 11: Time is Looping
  • Yojiro taking out chunks of Tametomo's hair and putting them into a jar with a weird symbol on it to fuel his "curse". It's made even more hilarious by Yojiro's overall narminess about it. Then it gets looped over and over and over...
  • Black Comedy and Crosses the Line Twice gets used full force here when Reset Button Jamen mentally breaks down from the repeated loop thanks to Tametomo shooting the reset button over and over. His state near the end of the episode is pitiful, but absolutely hilarious to see. Then there's the fact that he just gives up his reset button to Tametomo.
    • Despite his looks getting more and more defeated, people are still running away from him scared.
    • Before he just gives up, Reset Button Jamen uses multiple tactics to try and protect himself from Tametomo. It obviously doesn't stop Tametono from hitting the reset button over and over again. In one case you can very briefly see him in baseball catcher's gear and a suit of knight's armor (but failing to shield his head...)
  • When Carantula boasts about Launch Button Jamen Beast's ability to end the fight in one second, Tametomo somehow retorts they'll finish it even faster; they proceed to launch their fastest counter-offensive riding on Mashin Express and outspeeding the Big Red Button press. How they heard an enemy in another dimension is up to anyone's guess.
  • Tametomo's reaction at the end of the episode when he believes that time is going to loop again.
  • The Stinger shows that Tametomo still has the MOTW's reset button. Unfortunately, nobody else (besides Tametomo) knows about its function, which leads to Mabushina to try and push it as she thinks it's a quiz buzzer. Obviously Tametomo freaks out, moves so that the button is out of her sight, and gets up close and personal with the camera with an absolutely hilarious expression. It must be seen to be believed.

     Episode 12: Wonder Drill Boy
  • There's a certain level of Black Comedy when Takamichi basically leaves Sayo up to her own devices in the forest, while she's injured, twice. It takes some hard convincing on her end to make sure Takamichi doesn't leave her behind.
    • Then he actually leaves her in pursuit of the Monstone. Luckily Jetter and Helico find her in time.
  • Takamichi instantly changing his tune when Sayo convinces him that she'll do anything, as long as he helps her out.
  • The first thing the team does when confronting the Mo TW? Name it. What makes this even more hilarious is that Shiguru does it, stoic face and all.
  • Takamichi paying homage to this during his battle with Meteorite Jamen.
  • Everything about the cheek kisses:
    • First, Takamichi literally going up to Sayo and kissing her straight-up on the cheek as a "you're welcome" for healing her foot. Then he gets down to her level and tells her to do the same, expecting a cheek kiss in return as part of the "mamilina funifuny" note . Now, you'd think that Sayo would completely reject him, but instead she relents and gives him a cheek kiss right back.
    • The remaining Kiramagers' Big "WHAT?!" to the whole thing. They all look collectively scandalized at the whole thing, with Shiguru of all people having the biggest reaction amongst the group. The fact that they do it twice in short order makes it all the more hilarious.
  • The sheer Mood Whiplash from the cheek kisses to Mabushina slapping Takamichi is bound to turn some heads.

     Episode 13: Great Underground War
  • Takamichi pulling off a Big Damn Heroes early on the episode... and promptly taking Sayo with him when his job is done. The others are appropriately baffled.
  • Mood Whiplash comes in once again when Muryo calls Takamichi "nii-nii". Then he reveals that Takamichi is actually his biological older brother, calling him a "full fledged Showa guy", by virtue of being 47. Cue the Big "WHAT?!" from the remaining Kiramagers. There are close-ups of all of their reactions while they do this, allowing us to see their absolutely hilarious faces in all of their glory.
    • Sayo managed to somehow incorporate her "ehh" into her Catchphrase.
      Sayo: Whaaaaaattt a mood!
  • The Stinger: Shovellow sees Drilljan and tries to recruit them into the Shovellow corps, only for it to leave in a haste.

     Episode 14: The Lonely Ace
  • Juru's positively adorable reaction at not being able to dig.
  • The Opening Credits have been updated again, with some humorous additions:
    • Takamichi's outfit being all silver and sparkly... and having an unnecessary amount of fringe. (Seriously, it's just a fringe jacket at this point.)
    • The group picture is all sorts of adorable... then there's Shiguru making a face that looks to be in pain.
    • Drijan and Takamichi being very obviously superimposed on to the scene where the Kiramagers are running is bound to get a few chuckles here and there.
  • Juru appearing with soot on his face after interacting with SL Jamen? Eh, nothing new. Sena and Tametomo's reactions to it? A riot to be seen, especially with the latter's.
  • Duston's scaredy cat tendencies towards anything, such as Juru's soot-covered face.
  • Takamichi being stubborn as all hell when it's shown that he's still in the bath alone, when the bath water is at 47° Celsius note .
  • Shiguru charming the bathhouse owner, with added Bishie Sparkle, pink hearts, and a nice smile to top it off! Then there's the owner's reaction to it, which is nothing short of flustered as heck.
  • Takamichi emerging from the rubble of the bathhouse completely fine... with nothing but a towel on.
  • There's something hilarious about Takamichi not knowing he doesn't have his changer on until he tries to actually transform. The others promptly pull off a Big "WHAT?!".
  • Takamichi being damn near close to have a Heroic BSoD... then Juru shows up and starts drawing. Takamichi is appropriately baffled and offended.
  • The "Super Sentai" Stance is updated to include Takamichi, but instead of having him be carried or something like that, he just lays there right in front of them.
  • Galza quickly changing his tune about lending Smog Jouki to a Jamenshi. Right after he just lended it.
  • Takamichi trying to get everyone to do his Catchphrase. Juru and Sena do it wholeheartedly while Tametomo just sounds annoyed by the whole thing. Crosses over with Heartwarming.
  • The Stinger has Takamichi and Juru cleaning the Mashins... only for Takamichi to state proudly that he basically did it by himself. Then there's Juru's reaction to it. Made doubly hilarious when this whole episode was dedicated to Takamichi finally growing out of his I Work Alone mindset.

Episode 15: Listen, The Voice of Takamichi
  • Shiguru's over-the-top acting as soon as his costar tells him to kiss her. This might be Lampshade Hanging here considering the guidelines that are in place currently due to the pandemic.
  • Shiguru obsessively putting on lip balm because of the "big scene" he has in his drama. The kicker comes in when he's still putting on lip balm while having a conversation with Takamichi.
  • Takamichi's facial expressions when he thinks that his telepathy isn't working.
  • Sayo making fun of Shiguru for taking on the role, implying that he's inconsiderate. Shiguru apparently takes this to heart as he gives a lip balm to his costar, all the while insisting that he is very considerate.
  • The very obvious cuts when Muryo tells Shiguru to take the day off to focus on filming.
  • Filming seems to be going pretty well... then Takamichi comes on to set trying to find his treasure. Shiguru, after yelling at Takamichi that this is clearly inappropriate, demands the director to film in another spot. The others, especially the director, look utterly bewildered.
  • Tametomo calling Carantula "Red Light, Green Light Jamen",note  with Carantula not taking kindly to being referred to as a Jamenshi.
  • Just the fact that Carantula's big plan is to initiate a deadly game... of Red Light, Green Light. The punishment being that you get turned into a daruma if you move. Seriously.
  • Sena's strategy involves running right up to him before he turns around - but then it goes butt-shaped when he steps up his timing to throw her off, just as she's reached terminal velocity, and not only slips up but smashes into the ground behind him. There's even a crater.
  • Juru and Tametomo are trying to figure out a plan while they are still frozen. Then a Bechat comes over and tries to poke Juru into falling over. It works.
  • Shiguru trying to give advice to Takamichi... to which the latter rejects because he doesn't want to be the person to overanalyze everything. Complete with the music stopping and all.
  • Carantula... eating marshmallows menacingly.
  • Mabushina yelling at Takamichi for apparently being rude... before going off and laughing at the whole thing. Doubles as a Heartwarming moment.
  • The Stinger has Shiguru promoting his huge case of lip balms with a rather cheesy kiss to the audience.

     Episode 16: Marshmallow Royale
  • Takamichi takes one look at Marshmallow Jamen, shuts down out of fear, and doesn't transform with the others. As a result, when it's his turn to announce himself, he is still just standing there, head down, unmorphed, ignoring Tametomo's attempt to spur him on. Even by the end of the roll call, he is still just miserably standing there.
  • Everything about Marshmallow Jamen, from his dramatic movements to his unconventional design that somehow manages to work against the Kiramagers. The kicker here: he's apparently turning women into marshmallows because "they all desire plump and soft skin like a marshmallow". It's quickly turned into Nightmare Fuel when it's revealed they're being turned into marshmallows for Carantula to eat.
  • While the reason behind it was depressing, Takamichi's trauma related to marshmallows is bounds to get a few laughs here and there.
  • Takamichi flinging himself over at the news that Akiho has a violin concert.
  • Sayo using the Shiny Breaker's Finishing Move to dish out the Kiramai Stone they were looking for...at the cost of Shiguru being flung over by the recoil.
  • Takamichi assumes that Sena wants to help him because she had an incident similar to his... only to be completely off the mark. Sena promptly calls him out on it.
  • Carantula angsting about his last marshmallow... only to drop it at the end when he bumps into Galza's back. Galza naturally calls him a fool.
  • Akiho mentions Takamichi "hasn't changed at all", which at first seems like a dig at him being just as awkward around her as he ever was. This gets a laugh before she clarifies that he (because of his slowed aging) literally hadn't changed in 30 years and wanted to know what was up with that.
  • The Stinger has Juru standing next to Muryo while holding up a pineapple and an apple when discussing what Mashin Magellan can do, wondering if they can - unh! - use him to mix fruits. You can just tell that somebody really wanted to make that unsubtle Actor Allusion.

Episode 17: The Mansion's Rare Stone
  • When Takamichi wakes up, he automatically assumes that the others know all of the facts and asks to borrow Tametomo for a bit. Tametomo corrects him in the decidedly sassiest tone possible.
  • Whac-A-Mole Jamen's human disguise can be a bit off-putting... which then circles around to being hilarious.
  • Takamichi being flung around by the MOTW's Mole Heads.
  • Juru making the most unsubtle Actor Allusion when GigantDriller makes it valiant debut.
Juru: Wow! *raises hands and mimes putting something together* Takamichi and Drijan - Unh! They turned into a giant!
  • Amidst GigantDriller's epic debut, we have Kiramazin sitting down criss-cross applesauce to witness the whole fight. Then there's GigantDriller's attacks getting too close to the idle Kiramazin. Luckily the Finishing Move didn't hit them.
  • The Stinger has Shovellow wanting to combine with Tametomo... except that is completely impossible. Tametomo understandably calls him out for this.

     Episode 18: Darkness
  • Turns out Juru can't act at all.
Mabushina: Everyone seems to be acting a bit strange.
Juru: What? No way. Nothing's strange about anything!
Mabushina: It's been ever since this so-called treasure was brought back... You're all acting like my brother now. I do not like it! At all!
Juru: Like how you don't like Takamichi? I sure hope not! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Shiguru: *to Muryo* Juru's acting skills are essentially non-existant.
    • Just the blunt tone of how Muryo says it is bounds to get some giggles.
    • As it turns out, they actually kicked him out.
Juru: So... can I come back in?
    • Context cannot be ignored in this case - Takamichi has just spilled the tea about a bloodline curse that Mabushina's mother may have passed on to her, but all the heroes are treating her more like a terminally ill patient. And one of them's a doctor so they really should know better.
  • The Stinger has the others asking Takamichi who Brulus Liss is, when he's on the video screen right behind them. Takamichi walks out before really explaining anything, leading to the others having a Big "WHAT?!" moment. As an added bonus, there's a caption that says "This guy here!" after Takamichi walks out, as if you couldn't be anymore obvious.

    Episode 19: Partners
  • When the Mashins are giving out advice, we have Jetter saying that Juru could be like Shiguru and be a role model to the children. Shiguru deadpans that he can't argue with that sentiment.
  • Shortly after, Mach says that Juru should just let the momentum flow through him like Sena. Sena agrees with the statement before questioning if it was an insult or not. The others make fun of her in the background, with Shiguru and Tametomo particularly enjoying it.
  • "Freaky Friday" Flip is in full-swing this episode and it is absolutely hilarious to see unfold.
    • Just the fact that body-switching with another character completely replaces their voice. While for some characters it does work to some extent, like Juru and Fire; other characters definitely have it worse, such as Galza as Carantula and vice-versa.
    • Apparently Carantula switched bodies with Galza sometime before he went out with Jouki. Just seeing Galza acting all happy-go-lucky is utterly jarring.
    • In possibly the funniest scene the series has had to-date, we have the Mashins taking to the Kiramagers' bodies, and let's just say the Kiramagers aren't too happy with it.
      • Fire stumbling very awkwardly over Juru's body, clearly not used to being able to move.
      • Mach admiring Sena's body, nearly groping her breasts if it wasn't for her intervention.
      • When Sayo remarks that she had an exam that day, Helico very eagerly remarks that she's always wanted to try surgery. Sayo tells her to obviously not do it.
      • Jetter going around the base like a kid on sugar, saying that he's always wanted to kabedon a pretty actress like Shiguru does. He then basically shoves Mabushina to the glass while Helico mimes the action. Shiguru is displeased by this.
      • Then we have good ol' Shovellow, acting like an old man in Tametomo's body while proving that he's clearly pretty damn spry by flossing. Tametomo is very annoyed by this.
    • Fire doing the worst impression of Juru ever. He first does Juru's "Hiramaeking" before proceeding to scribble all over the paper. Then he rips up the paper in the hopes of inspiring Takeshi, which works. Unfortunately it leads the other kids to do the exact same thing to their drawings for the contest. Luckily, it's rectified with the collage they make afterwards.
    • We have a young man acting rather comfortable to an older woman while an older woman raps out of thin air thanks to Moving-Out Jamen. We also have an older male trying to take a selfie with a girl who's clearly freaked out, a woman looking very distressed while she's making a phone call, and a police officer running away while a robber chases him. The voices aren't switched this time around, making the switch all the more jarring.
    • The Mashins go out to fight... at the unfortunate cost of actually not knowing how to fight in their new bodies.
      • Shovellow tries to go at the Bechats head-on, but his supposed back problems and weak moves get in the way of that.
      • Helico tries to fly at the MOTW before Sayo has to remind her that she most certainly can't do that as a human.
      • Jetter tries to sneak up on the MOTW to no avail, quickly switching to flailing his sword around before injuring himself.
      • While all of this is going on, Mach is crouching in the corner with the Kiramai Shield, trying to "protect" Sena's body. Sena calls him lame, making him go into a massive slump.
    • In the epic fight scene with the Mashins, we have Mach still depressed about what Sena said. The thing that snaps him out of it is Sena saying that she loves him, to which Mach immediately stands up, grows a pair, and takes on the mooks in the most badass way possible. As a bonus, Kenji Akabane (Mach's VA) tweeted about this, writing out "daisuki" in all caps romanization.
    • The "Mashin Version" of their "Super Sentai" Stance is both this and a CMOA, as the Mashins epically do their partner's poses before adding in their own quirks. Then they do a pose that's a combination of their interpretation of their Mashin forms, the dance moves from the ending theme, and ToQger's "Super Sentai" Stance. A couple of months later, the voice actors of the core Mashins did the pose as an off-shot of the "Kiramager HERO BOOK".
    • The MOTW tries to switch Takamichi with one of the Bechats...only for Takamichi to shove both mooks at him, switching their souls instead. Apparently they have different souls too, seeing their reactions to the switch.
  • The fact that the Jamen Beast is named "Homeowner Loan" Dagames. His "loans" are in the form of chains that bind the Kiramagers.
  • The first thing the rapper does after they switch back? Rap about how everything is a-okay again.
  • The Stinger has Takamichi trying to communicate with Drilljan, except he doesn't obviously understand it at all.

    Episode 20: Dangerous Pair
  • The sheer Refuge in Audacity in doing a plot about two people in a Chained Heat situation in the middle of COVID-19 is worth a few laughs.
  • The MOTW comparing himself to Cupid because of his glue. Yeah, sure you are.
  • When Glue Jamen runs away, we have Shiguru in the background holding on to Sena and his "combined" sword.
  • Another PPAP reference comes from Muryo once again when he's describing the situation Juru and Kakihara are in.
  • When Kakihara recognizes the other Kiramagers, Tametomo is utterly shocked she recognizes him, thanks to her brother.
  • Shiguru once again trying to charm Kakihara into keeping this whole incident off of the internet.
  • When the others are trying to keep Juru's identity a secret, they make up a bunch of excuses. Once such excuse? Muryo saying that weird things happen when he detransforms. The room instantly goes dark with a single spotlight on Muryo as he's saying this. Tametomo instantly calls him out on this.
  • As soon as Takamichi is in the room, he's utterly shocked at the sight of Kakihara and Juru together, thinking that they're a couple. Unfortunately, he lets out the secret that Juru is Kiramai Red, which leaves the others' efforts for naught. The others' reactions to the are hilarious. Sena and Tametomo look like they're about to strangle him, while Sayo facepalms and Shigeru smacks the wall. Takamichi is entirely oblivious to all of this. Muryo, meanwhile, just starts cracking up.
  • Kakihara calling Mabushina a "talking rock girl". The comment makes Mabushina instantly and dramatically slump towards the wall. Tametomo and Sayo quickly try to comfort her.
  • Juru trying to pass himself off as Kakihara's little brother. Joko doesn't buy it.
  • Tametomo and Takamichi creating a hammer out of all of the stuff the Jamenshi glued. It works.
  • The fact that the "combination" between GigantDriller and Kiramazin is literally just the two mecha combined together with the Jamen Beast's glue. Seriously.
  • When Kakihara is still holding Juru's hand, Sayo, Tametomo, and Shiguru instantly get what's going on. Takamichi and Sena hilariously don't.
  • The Stinger: Juru and Takamichi "combining" by putting their backs together and spinning around like what GigantDriller and Kiramazin did earlier. Muryo hilariously rejects the combo, making the two dramatically slump.

Episode 21: Fishing, Sometimes a Master
  • It's rather hilarious to see Numajo casually sipping tea when Oradin, Mabayuine, and Takamichi confront her.
  • Takamichi showing Shiguru the poster from August 30th before going off at the Mo TW on his own. Shiguru doesn't even bat an eye.
  • There's something funny about Shiguru dropping a shameless plug to his upcoming movie that somehow manages to be a badass Pre-Mortem One-Liner.
  • The Stinger: Galza and Carantula shamelessly plugging Motorboat Basra.
Galza: Look at the claws! The boat! The spray of the sea!
    Carantula: So sweet!

Episode 22: Are You Prepared? The Witch is There!
  • The Running Gag of Numajou's toxic venom letting out a terrible stench, that's somehow lasted since the Aqua Kiramai Stone was hit in the first place. When he's first brought out, the camera switches to reveal that Shiguru is the one leaning the furthest back from it.
  • While in the past, Tametomo and Sena attempt to delay the Crystalian royals by dressing up as Bechats. They proceed to go full Gorenger on them.
    Tametomo: Appearing with a splatter!
    Sena: Muddying up the situation!
Tametomo & Sena: We're not letting you take another step, becha!
Mabayuine: ...Your Majesty, were they always so... talkative?
  • After his first attempt to swipe Numajo's cup fails, Juru's next idea is to pretend to be a servant... while still in his Kiramager suit.
  • Muryo trolls Takamichi by saying that Mabushina isn't here with them... because she's on her way to see him.
  • The Stinger has Zabyun asking Juru if he's a shark or a train. Juru replies that he's a shark train. We then get this gem:
Zabyun: You're trying hard to sela that idea, huh?

    Episode 23: Mabushina's Mother
  • Mabayuine fainting... over Mabushina stubbing her toe.
  • Refuge in Audacity kicks in once again when the Kiramagers decide to just pretend that their fights with Yodonheim are a part of a play adapted from a famous Crystalian play so that they don't freak out Mabayuine. And it somehow works. At least, until Mabayuine eventually finds out on her own volition.
  • Shiguru putting on the charm when meeting Mabayuine.
  • Mabushina is about to introduce Shiguru as the leader, only for Mabayuine to assume that Tametomo is the leader, as the leader of the thieves in the play, Mr. One, wears yellow.
    • In their next battle with Safe Jamen, Tametomo hams it up as "leader". Safe Jamen even wonders when did he get so florid.
    • The role Shiguru got? The pitiful geek Mr. Five. And his reactions afterwards show that he is not happy about it.
  • The fact that Shiguru still remains in character as Mr. Five even after the deception is revealed, even though he's initially not happy with the role. Tametomo even calls him out on it.
  • The credits has Oradin gushing over Mabushina performing her image song like an excited father at his daughter's first school play.

    Episode 24: Let's Start a Band!
  • The Kiramagers try to do their roll call pose, but Speaker Jamen derails it with another Loud of War, causing the team to clutch their ears. While Shiguru is at least able to let Sayo down semi-gently, Tametomo drops poor Sena to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Not that she seems to notice.
  • Apparently one of Shiguru's roles had him playing the bass, as Bass Attorney.
  • Shovellow immediately assumes that Tametomo can play anything, which then shows him holding a bunch of instruments with a hilarious expression. Tametomo angrily punches through the screen in response.
  • When Sayo goes Drill Sergeant Nasty on the team, Sena and Tametomo immediately blame Juru for putting them through it. Juru, being Juru, immediately complies.
  • Galza playing the guitar. Even after the Jamenshi is destroyed, he still continues jamming on it.
  • When the Jamen Beast appears, Takamichi immediately recognizes it as being modeled on a jukebox. Immediately Juru asks — completely seriously — what a jukebox is.
  • Takamichi wants to headbutt the others into waking them up. Mabushina automatically tells him not to do that.

Episode 25: That Cute Shrine Maiden
  • The temple priest explains that there was another person at the temple that hung out with him... which he believes to be an alien. Juru is impressed, Tametomo is confused, and Takamichi points to himself, believing that the priest was referring to him (despite him being a human raised in Crystalia) before rejecting the notion. This also may be Foreshadowing to next episode, as it shows that Oradin hung out with him on his adventures.
  • Bomb Jamen's shtick revolves around bombs... specifically bomb bowling. As such he needs at least 10 people for it to go off. When he rolls down the Kiramagers, he doesn't realize that there are only six of them present, meaning that the bomb doesn't go off at all. Galza huffs in disappointment just after being quietly impressed by his antics. You can practically hear Tendou's influence when the Jamenshi realizes his mistake.
  • Tametomo going head-over-heels for the standoffish shrine maiden him, Juru, and Takamichi met at the beginning. Too bad she actually ended up being a Yodonheim general...
  • Juru, Takamichi, and Tametomo excitedly showing off Energia to the disinterested Shuka.
  • Takamichi accidentally letting the Monstone absorb Energia into its body, making it grow into giant. Cue massive Oh, Crap! from Juru and Tametomo. Nice going Takamichi.
  • A meta example. Before the episode premiered, the official Kiramager Twitter put in the hashtag #TameKunDoushitano note  in pictures where he's admiring Shuka. Everyone in the cast and staff used it with utter glee when retweeting the pictures, including Subaru Kimura, who voiced Bomb Jamen. After The Reveal, the Twitter put up a hashtag that said #TameKunDonMai note  in the Episode 26 press releases. Poor Tametomo.
  • After the episode premiered, many international fans joked that Saber practically didn't even exist and that Kiramager was the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) after executing such an epic twist. Domestic fans seem to agree with them, as Kiramager was trending at #7 on Twitter... a spot ABOVE Saber.

Episode 26: Make it an Arrow Weapon
  • After The Reveal that Yodonna's ability to power up her minions is potentially lethal, there's some Mood Whiplash when Bomb Jamen is also whipped and turned into 5 copies of himself - and in the final fight he's sticking his butt out expectantly so she can do it again.
  • Oradin deciding to shoot through two targets to win against the priestman. Unfortunately, he strains himself while doing it, breaking the bow as a result.
  • A dark example when Yodonna is laughing at the Kiramagers. The sheer awkwardness of the laugh makes it seems like she's just trying a little too hard.
  • When Sena gets her turn with the Kiraful Go Arrow, she simply blasts at the Jamenshi with zero care for accuracy, saying that it'll be okay anyways. And somehow it works.
  • Juru temporarily stopping the celebration, because he thought it was necessary to comfort Tametomo due to his crush on "Shuka" ending badly. Naturally he doesn't take it that well especially since it came from Juru of all people and starts wildly eating the cake out of sheer self-pity.

    Episode 27: Great Pinch Runner
  • Sayo comments that it was kind of the Bechats to clean after them. Shiguru and Tametomo promptly call her out for it.
  • Sayo claims to have known about the Jamenshi's plan all this time, right after she commented that the Bechats were awfully nice. Shiguru once again calls her out for it.
  • Sena can't stop running because of the bomb, so she just decides to keep on rushing through everything. Including jumping over a couple of workers moving furniture, going through a long flight of steps, and taking a couple's takoyaki after eating one of the balls.
  • After Yodonna manages to sabotage the support gear, she lets loose a bout of evil cackling... before turning to Galza and asking if this is an appropriate time to laugh. Galza replies "How should I know?"
  • When Sena explains the plan to get her bomb off, Yodonna drops this one-liner.
  • Just as King Express Zabyun and GigantDriller are about to finish off Superglue Shellga, Mach jumps in out of nowhere, bursts into flames and single-handedly destroys the Jamen Beast. He then complains to Sena that she didn't call for him.
Zabyun: Mach can get crazy jealous!

    Episode 28: Crying Shiguru
  • Shiguru actually shedding tears over Mabushina's wish to see her father... which turns out to be him just rehearsing his lines for a show. Later on, Shiguru actually uses the same lines he was rehearsing for his show on Hakobu and Juru notices the similarity.
Juru: ...Wait, where have I seen this before?
  • Zabyun mentions that Oradin used to be quite the crybaby. Cue Sena picturing a hand-drawn chibi-Oradin crying waterfall tears and wailing like a toddler.
  • Sayo offers herself up to go talk to Hakobu, but Shiguru refutes it, saying that Hakobu doesn't need medical treatment. He then goes on to dramatically play up what Hakobu really needs...
    • The others are clearly startled by this, with Muryo looking like he's about to have a heart attack!
  • Juru and Shiguru's Boke and Tsukkomi Routine was absolutely hilarious. Why it didn't get Hakobu to laugh is a mystery.
  • When Muryo is trying to reveal how the Jamen Beast is disguising himself, he badly covers himself with a white sheet and dramatically drops to it "reveal" himself. The others are clearly confused, leading to Takamichi dropping this one-liner.
    • Afterwards, you can see Tametomo silently motioning that the comment was clearly inappropriate.
  • Shiguru letting out the tears seem to be a moment of Heartwarming... until he starts going overboard with it. This somehow gets Hakobu to cry too.
  • The sheer Refuge in Audacity of Sayo walking up to Yodonna from behind, peering over her shoulder and asking what she's doing... and Yodonna actually answers her. The look on Yodonna's face when she catches on is priceless.
  • The sheer Soundtrack Dissonance of Shiguru's emotional rock ballad playing over clips of his Butt-Monkey moments. Bonus, the song ends with "sounds weird, right?", a line used against him back in Episode 3.

    Episode 29: The Illusionary Atamald
  • When Projector Gomuryu starts smoking, the team automatically assumes that Hakobu did something. Turns out that it was just its projector overclocking and needing a cool-down.
  • Just seeing both Crystalians and humans living together with zero care in the world gets a few laughs here and there.
  • Out of all the reactions to their evil doubles, we have Shiguru straight-up screaming before fighting off his double.
  • Carantula's reaction when he notices the petrified Oradin.
Carantula: Hey, Projector Gomoryu's done cooling off... *glances* WHAAAAAT THE HECK IS THAT!?
Yodonna: It's nothing, forget you saw it.
    Carantula: Uh, not happening!
Yodonna: Stop babbling and send Gomoryu to cause more damage.
Carantula: Quit bossing me! *walks away* Order me, will ya...?
  • As Oradin's petrified body begins to crumble, Yodonna — thinking that Oradin is dying — once again laughs evilly and asks Galza if this is the right time to do so. Galza shoots down that moment by voicing his realization that Oradin is not dying, but transferring his soul.
  • When witnessing Oradin's resurrection as a Mashin, Galza grouses that this would be the moment when Oradin would say "Kings make miracles come true", before turning towards the camera and yelling "What kind of miracle trash is this?!"
  • Just when Takamichi is about to make an impassioned speech to Oradin, Oradin leaves the Kiramagers right after. This, understandably, leaves the team utterly bewildered at what just happened.

    Episode 30: A Proud Warrior
  • As she's being turned into a mannequin, Sena muses that at least she'll look cute.
  • While Tametomo is carrying Mannequin-Sena away to safety, he complains that she's gotten heavier. Cue Sena's eyeballs swiveling towards him in a Death Glare and Tametomo hastily apologizing.
  • Mach's reaction to Sena's predicament:
Mach: *sobbing* Oh, milady! My soul bleeds for you! And yet, even as a mannequin your beauty is still so animated! Her stillness only emphasizes her elegance and curvilinear beauty! Like a statue that monopolizes the air around her! A Venus by any other name!
    Sena: *glares at him*
    Jetter: He's going nuts again...
  • Apparently Yodonna, on a lark, decided to pretend to be a mannequin to see what it's like.
  • During their argument about what to do with Muryo, Mabushina calls Tametomo out for not being as passionate as he is levelheaded. He refutes that he always straddles the line of being cool and passionate.
  • Mabushina headbutting Tametomo. And then he simply pats her head when they are deployed to battle.
  • The boys' reactions when Sayo gets turned into a mannequin.
  • While the boys are fighting off the Bechats, we have Tametomo hastily trying to get Sayo to safety, lampshading that this is totally not cool at all.
  • When the Mashins are being flung, Tametomo is also being flung, and it's clear that he doesn't have the same safety mechanisms as they do.
  • The credits has Hakobu rambling on how Muryo's image song's title is too long.

    Episode 31: Toys
  • The reason Zabyun and the other auxiliary Mashins are absent this episode? Hakobu took them on a team-building exercise trip to Atamald.
  • Thanks to the Monster of the Week, the main six Mashins with Juru and Takamichi in them have shrunk into the size of the actual DX toys.
  • The Mashins' reaction to what Tatsuki is doing to them is a gaggle of laughs with special mention to Takamichi's whimper of fear after Tatsuki "crashes" Jetter & Helico and annoyance at Tatsuki naming him "Magma Driller" after transforming him.
  • Tatsuki combining the Mashins together much to their discomfort except for Shovellow who only needed to be clipped onto Fire.
  • Tametomo and Shiguru's reactions to Sayo's comparison of trying to find the mecha to like grabbing a cloud.
  • When Juru and Kiramazin disappear from base, Mabushina tries to find them in her hair.

Episode 32: There's Something About Sayo
  • The other Kiramagers and Mabushina behaving like gossiping housewives over Sayo's date with Yujin. Then they start talking about marriage, even in the middle of a fight!
    • Just the fact that Tametomo is the one that's getting the most worked-up over the whole thing.
    • Sayo eventually caves in and starts thinking about a special "confession" that Yujin will make. Too bad it turns out to be something else entirely...
  • Yujin really wants to tell Sayo something, but he gets tongue-tied... three times. Sayo just lets it go.
  • We get another Pun-based MOTW, instead this time there in the forms of riddles. Poor fansubbers.
  • Juru decides to get the Jamenshi to answer another riddle, with the reward being that they get to finish him off. It goes about as well as you can expect.
  • The MOTW decides to pull off another riddle, which everyone gets besides Shiguru. What follows is everyone saying an excited "boom" with Shiguru clumsily trying to follow along.
  • The Stinger: In a bit of a darkly humorous one, we have Carantula saying that the Jamen Beasts are about to rampage among the city. This would be scary if it wasn't for the fact that he's coming up right to the camera for this one.

Episode 33: Giant Panic, Big Clash!
  • The dark humor carries over to this week, as Mr Hakataminami's idea of a battle map involves pulling together whatever toys and decoration he has in his office to represent everything and everyone:
    • The Tank, Sengoku and Shield Jamen Beasts are a toy tank, a miniature samurai helmet and a tiki shield that dwarfs everything else on the map.
    • Gigant Driller, Kiramajin and Mashin Zabyun are ice cream cones, a Tin-Can Robot and a stuffed toy shark. Greatful Phoenix is a wooden duck.
    • The Yodon Ivy seed is a walnut. Yodonna is a rubber ducky that is somehow already painted dark blue and decorated with wings on the head.
  • Yodonna laughing is a funny moment all on its own. Yodonna laughing while the room around her is dead silent for an uncomfortable amount of time? Hilarious, for all the wrong reasons.
  • Juru saying that they've got this with Tametomo's plan. The latter is mildly offended before ratifying that he's still got it.

Episode 34: Blue and Yellow Passion
  • The episode begins with the replaying of the scene where the Kiramagers destroy the Yodon Ivy seed from the previous episode... which turns out to actually be a recording being played back at the Yodonheim base. A pissed-off Galza promptly destroys the recording.
Galza: Do NOT put this garbage on display!
  • Shiguru's grand plan for him to destroy the mask: get on top of Jetter and jump down to slash the mask. Due to the effects of the poison however, he seizes up and falls directly on Tametomo.
  • The Stinger has Sena and Zabyun plotting revenge on Galza for hijacking Mashin Express.

    Episode 35: A Wandering Mabushina
  • Mabushina + Japanese tea = RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.
  • Drunk Mabushina is a ball of laughs from her personality to her voice. Inori Minase lets her comedic side loose and it is glorious.
  • Golf Jamen's shtick is using people as posts, specifically their butt.
  • The sheer Refuge in Audacity in Yodonna and Golf Jamen explaining what the hell Mabushina did yesterday.
    • During Mabushina's rampage, she manages to give Yodonna a taste of ice cream pops, which results into an addiction, to the point where she actively threatens the ice cream vendor to give her everything he has.
    • After Golf Jamen managed to fuse Takamichi with Cart Hildon, a drunk Mabushina forces him to help her save her brother by making him pilot Drijan only to abandon him when she feels sleepy and the Mashin is sinking into the lake.
  • Sena running after something with her speed and Shiguru yelling at her to slow down.
  • Galza celebrates after destroying Cart Hildon, thinking he has killed Takamichi along with it, not knowing that Takamichi was just rescued by Grateful Phoenix. Back at Yodonheim HQ, Yodonna and Carantula — who saw the entire thing — contemplate on who gets to tell Galza the truth.
  • Tametomo teaching Shiguru the floss dance.
  • So the day is saved, the Jamenshi and Jamen Beast are destroyed, and all is well with the world... and then Mabushina grabs the wrong cup, which is filled with Japanese tea, to the Kiramagers' horror.
    Takamichi: NOT AGAIN!
  • The Stinger has Mabushina once again wake up, this time amidst the unconscious bodies of the Kiramagers.
Mabushina: What happened?! Did I do it again?!

    Episode 36: RAP
  • Hakobu and Oradin celebrating Crystas with the Kiramagers via Zoom.
  • The sheer fact that Carantula's grand plan revolves around weaponized diss-rapping, akin to Hypnosis Mic.
  • Yodonna dressed as a rapper. And then she starts rapping...
  • Juru’s terrible rapping. He even calls himself out on it!
  • The Stinger has Sena having to listen to Mach list off all the things he's grateful to her for. And he still has 1,824 more to go.

    Episode 37: Sena 1/5
  • When Yodonna accidentally turns Sena into 5 copies of herself, all of them have additional numbers stuck on their helmets; then they change back, causing the numbers to move onto their lapels, just for the sake of differentiation. Then Muryo figures out how to put them back together, causing all the numbers to accumulate on the lapel, which makes sense in context. Then turning back into Kiramai Green causes all the numbers to go on the helmet, which ends up looking ridiculous.
    • Muryo's idea was basically do the PPAP with Sena 1 and Sena 2, just in case the viewers didn't catch on who he is. And if that wasn't enough, perhaps Takamichi going "Wonder, ah!" in reaction to that might push the hint even more.
  • The revelation that Yodonna and Emperor Yodon are one and the same? Played completely seriously. Rewatching all of Yodonna's comedic moments after that with the knowledge that that's technically Yodon himself? Hilarious.

Episode 38: Watching My Uncle's Moon
  • Carantula trolling Yodonna by persistently calling her "Emperor Yodon" and claiming that he's talking to Yodon through her.
  • Apparently Sayo is not fond of dentists. Even though she herself is a doctor.
  • Tametomo being reduced to a clingy, wailing kid by the MOTW's cavity powers.
  • The second battle with Tooth Decay Jamen has Sayo, Tametomo and Sena wielding giant toothbrushes. The Jamenshi has to tell them that no amount of brushing will instantly get rid of a cavity.
  • Takamichi eating a dirt-ball under Illusia's effects.
  • Zabyun gets hit by Tooth Decay Jamen's cavity beams shielding Sayo, Tametomo and Sena. Since he was designed with teeth, he ends up getting cavities as well.
  • The Stinger has Zabyun getting his teeth brushed by Sayo while in his stone form, declaring that he never wants to experience toothache again. He, Sayo, Tametomo and Sena then proceed to remind the audience to always brush their teeth, complete with pose and Audible Gleam.

Episode 39: The Emperor is a Sniper
  • Takamichi secretly giving a card to the jeweler, asking him for the company discount for some reason.
  • Shadon, another of Emperor Yodon's personalities and a fearsome sniper... is destroyed in the same episode he debuts. In the end he was just another MOTW that got outsmarted in a single episode.
  • The Stinger has Tametomo bragging that there's nothing he can't hit... except for a girl's heart. Cue screenshots of him and "Shuka" from #25 appearing, with Tametomo swatting them away before breaking down and sobbing.
    Shovellow: ...that's rough, kiddo.

    Episode 40: Aching Person
  • The Shapeshifter Wire Jamen enters the field and immediately turns into one of our heroes to start confusing them. Unsurprisingly, Shiguru ends up taking all the abuse.
  • Once they start suspecting from one another, they decide to try and find out who is it. On Shiguru's signal, Sena and Mabushina rushes to tickle poor Takamichi into submission.
    • Next Takamichi asks Sayo how many crackers she ate on snack break. Two? Nope. Three? Not by a long shot. She ate seven, according to Helico's count. And that serves as enough reason for Takamichi to send the "Tickle Squad" at Sayo.
    • It's specially fun in hindsight, but the Wire Jamen only impersonated one of them once and that was more than enough for them to suspect each other, and even suspect of Muryo when a second Muryo arrived in the base. Thankfully the Muryo that was with them was just a Daiyakun.
  • Juru running past Muryo, then running backwards on realization.
  • The Stinger: After Illusia is drained of its energy and turns black, Yodonna notes that it fits in with Yodonheim now.

Episode 41: I Want to Be As I Am
  • The Jamenshi this time... is a Maneki Neko (lucky cat) monster that makes peple behave like cats, complete with fuzzy ears. Funny enough, but Carantula hypes this up as his strongest Jamenshi ever, only for it to be revealed as something completely ridiculous. The Kiramagers are highly underwhelmed, and Tametomo straight-up says that Carantula is out of ideas.
  • After three of our heroes have been turned into Cat People, Juru runs off and Shiguru and Tametomo have to physically haul Sena and Sayo back - in the same manner as their "Super Sentai" Stance.
  • In the background you can see a camera owned by a passing through Kamen Rider, causing many to joke that Decade is somehow responsible for the entire plot. ONORE, DIKEIDO!!!
  • After Sena, Sayo and Juru and transformed into cat people, Tametomo has a really rough time with Sena, Shiguru is purrfectly okay with Sayo cuddling with him, and Takamichi hits his Wonder Jewels when he gets tripped by Juru over a railing.
  • Maneki-Neko Jamenshi dodging Carantula and farting on his face.
  • Funny and adorable are two words to describe Juru and Carantula's relationship in this episode: Juru pestered him innocently, because all he wanted was to play, and eventually went to hand paint a banner as carefree as ever, then Carantula notices through Juru's sketchbook that they aren't so different and that they both love to create art. next the two paints a butterfly with the most cheerful smile ever.
  • After Carantula undoes the hypnosis, Juru still retains cat like features despite regaining his senses... And does a lot of cat puns. He later uses the same technique Carantula used on him to bring Sena and Sayo back to their senses so they can fight the Jamenshi.
  • Everything about the cattified roll call. Juru and the girls all get their catchphrases twisted with cat puns, and their sequences not only have cats flying around in the background, but their respective Mashins all have cat ears! Somehow, this being intercut with Tametomo and Shiguru's completely normal roll call sequences only makes it doubly hilarious. In the end, it finishes up with an altered logo reading "Kirama-nya".
  • During the fight against the Jamenshi, Tametomo and Shiguru caves in and decides to "fight like cats" as well. It works.
  • Takamichi has had enough with the Cat-Food-Tin Jamenju and digs into the ground frantically looking for a spring. Cats Hate Water, after all. Doesn't sound funny, except his entire tunnel is done in frame cuts while we clearly see the Jamenju animated normally up there.
    Takamichi: Wonder Onsen! Nyaa!
    • Despite the simultaneous finisher performed by Gigant Driller and the Kiramagers otherwise being awesome, the fact that they slip in one more cat pun is honestly laugh-inducing.
      Juru: SPARKNYANG PHOENIX!
  • Really, the entire premise is this. Rio and the girls are clearly having fun pretending to be cats.

Episode 42: The Battle Without Honor
  • Sena, Sayo and Shiguru rib Tametomo about "Priestess Yodonna". Tametomo is not amused.
  • After seeing Galza absorb Emperor Yodon's powers and transform into Lord Galza, Juru begins repeatedly muttering "So...", leading us to believe he's suffering from a Heroic BSoD... only for him to declare that that was the coolest thing he'd ever seen.
  • The Stinger has Takamichi trussing Carantula up like a turkey.

    Episode 43: The Dirty Hero
  • Juru declares that he'll keep his promise to Kakihara, while holding up the amusement park ticket she'd given him in #42. Tametomo grumbles about how come Juru's the one with the date.
  • Juru squeeing over how awesome Galza's attack is.
  • Carantula easily giving in to Juru's demands despite resisting Takamichi just minutes before.

Episode 44: Rest In Peace, My Friend
  • While grieving over Juru's (apparent) death, the Kiramagers remember that they still have to deal with Yodon. Sena is just about to announce what their battle strategy is... before immediately foisting it to Tametomo. Cue mass Face Fault.
  • A subtle moment when Carantula is sneaking around to get Illusia out of Yodonheim.
  • When Juru reunites with the team, Shiguru's response is to release the waterworks. Also counts as a Heartwarming moment.
  • The fact that all the Mashins and Kiramagers drop everything during mid-battle with Emperor Yodon and rush to greet Juru, when it's revealed the latter survived. One can imagine Yodon offscreen saying "Um, hello? I'm still here!" Takamichi even has to point it out to the rest of the team before deciding to join them anyway.

Episode 45: When You All Shined Together
  • After Yodon is defeated, Muryo has a mini celebration in the CARAT base...only to accidentally fall out of his chair.
  • Once again, Shiguru devolves into Inelegant Blubbering when he reunites with Jetter.
  • Kakihara suddenly crashes the reunion, annoyed that Juru drew a picture of a Sentai team (that one being the Zenkaigers) instead of a cute portrait of her (though she's still featured in a bottom corner). He claims that he went on pure instinct, which leaves her even more annoyed. The final scene is just the two of them running around.
    • The others' reaction to Juru and Kakihara finally getting together is nothing less of heartwarming and hilarious, most notably Tametomo and Sena's reactions having the biggest Squee on their faces.
  • The yearly Hand Off has Zenkaizer seemingly going in to fist bump KiramaiRed, but Juru being Juru - he instead has his palm out (probably as a way to signify his Catchphrase), deciding to go in and grab the latter's hand, clearly overjoyed at his successor.

Mashin Sentai Kiramager The Movie: Bee Bop Dream
  • Some of the nightmares everyone gets trapped in are hilarious.
    • Shiguru finds himself with the vice on his head once more.
    • Mabushina gets married. The groom? Rugby Jamen. And somehow Oradin is approving of it!
  • In an attempt to wake the Kiramagers up, Muryo dances to PPAP. No, seriously, he does the entire routine and all. Throughout the whole series, various Actor Allusions have been made in regards to Muryo's actor, Daimaou Kosaka, having also performed the memetic Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen song and video. But the movie chucks any and all subtlety out the window in a way that's honestly hysterical.
  • During the ending dance, Galza doesn't dance at all, instead tapping his foot to the song.

     Mashin Sentai Kiramager vs Ryusoulger
  • The trailer immediately establishes the Trapped in TV Land premise, and ends with the usual Big "WHAT?!" Running Gag when Takamichi apparently sees all of his team in the same movie he's been watching.
  • Canalo is at it again. This time, his target is Yodonna.
    • Then during the ending, he hits on Mabushiina, much to her bewilderment, Oto's approval, and Takamichi's protest.
  • Meta: as part of the announcement, the official Twitter page for Super Sentai posted a picture of Mabushiina with Kleon with the caption being a quote from the former about what an honour it was to meet the Ryusoulgers. The response from Ryōko Shiraishi (Kleon’s VA)?
    I’m not a Ryusoulger!!!
  • Another meta moment: Hayate Ichinose (Koh) comments that he's glad to have a VS movie... and that it's over 15 minutes long.
  • A later trailer was narrated by Mio Kudo… as Kanon Fukami, who reacts to Sayo being her lookalike.
  • The ending dance is all sorts of fun, but what's even funnier is the fact that even the Yodon Generals are doing it, with Yodonna seemingly having the most fun.
    • The fact that Galza of all people is willingly going along with the dance is worth a laugh.

    Mashin Sentai Kiramager: Yodonna
  • Really, the entire premise. Yodonna, the split personality of the Big Bad, gets partnered with Kakihara, Juru’s Genki Girl classmate.
  • The Running Gag of Yodonna telling Mizuki she needs to exercise more, because or her low stamina for combat.
  • Yodonna learns of Pleasure when Mizuki comes back from having beaten a maid from the yakuza-run Maid Cafe in order to steal the attire and sneak in.
  • Just as Yanako, the bodyguard of the yakuza boss, is about to defeat Yodonna, Mizuki takes over and does the ending dance from Kiramager as her "combat moves". And it works flawlessly in intercepting and countering attacks. What makes this more hilarious is Yodonna's deadpan and slightly confused expression while she dances.
