     Pre-reveal

The 2020 team will be sports based
  • The five core rangers will be the colors of the Olympic rings, while the sixth ranger is white note
    • At the very least, they'll do a Super Hero Taisen movie heavily themed around the Olympics — Kamen Rider Gaim had its summer movie themed around the World Cup, so it would be odd if Japan didn't make something tokusatsu related to celebrate the Olympics they are holding.

2020 Sentai guesses
  • a mixture of Middle Eastern mythologies and the Moon
    • The heroes will be good jinns. The items the heroes use will be stamps. The villains will be based on the 40 Thieves named after capitals of Muslim countries while the grunts will be based on evil jinns.
    • It will be narrated by Yumi Kakazu (Shizuka Minamoto) who will also voice the devices.
    • The team will the descendants of heroes of the Arabian Nights.
    • The heroes' base of operations will be Tokyo Camii, a mosque that has a secret and hidden magical base similar to Magiranger's.
    • The movie will be similar to Kamen Rider EX-Aid's movie which took place after the final episode. It will be focusing on the team going to the 7 heavens to fight the remaining villains.
    • Partially confirmed: The Kiramagers are incidentally genie-based.
  • The fourth Ninja team, this time mixed Japanese Gods or various mythical animals
    • Or a Yokai based team
  • Another car/vehicle-based team
    • As a fusion of both, the team could each have a car that transforms into another vehicle, similar to M.A.S.K.. They would consist of a male Red, Black, and Yellow, while the girls would be a Blue and a White. The Sixth Ranger would be Silver.
    • The villains would be self-driving vehicles lead by an evil A.I. similar to Venjix, the main difference being that the AI hasn't conquered the Earth, instead operating in the shadows. They can transform into monsters as a "battle form".
  • An Insect-based team (Sentai has never done that before)
    • To avoid comparisons to Kamen Rider, they'll base them on other creatures associated with insects, like spiders.
  • Ghosts
  • Samurai, mimicking Shinkenger's success.
    • Specifically, a Samurai Sentai themed after Edo Japan, Shogunate, and exorcism similar to Jōjū Senjin!! Mushibugyō and Twin Star Exorcists.
    • The team and story will be built around The Magnificent Seven Samurai. Their color designations will also be based on the rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet and Pink.
    • Going off the above, the season would start with a trio consisting of Red, Blue, and Yellow, with the others joining as the season goes on, similar to Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger, right down to Blue being female and Yellow male. Pink and Violet would be female, while Green and Orange are male.
    • The 6th rangers could be based on ninjas.
  • A witchcraft-based team, similar to Puella Magi Madoka Magica and written by Gen Urobuchi.
    • If Toei had the balls to hire Urobuchi for Kamen Rider Gaim then having him for Sentai would further make the franchise great again.
    • Partially confirmed: The next Sentai is Mashin Sentai Kiramager (literally translated as "Spirit Advancement Squadron Shining Mage Ranger"), though it's primarily vehicle-themed; the closest to being witchcraft-based is through the use of gemstones.
  • A Buddhist mythology-based team (from Japan, China, Vietnam, Korea, Mongolia, India, Thailand and Tibet in particular), similar to Journey to the West, Dragon Ball, 3×3 Eyes, and Gensomaden Saiyuki.
    • For bonus points, the Red Ranger would be themed after a monkey and based on the original Chinese novel version of Son Goku.
  • A cyborg time-travelling Sentai team themed after Fujiko Fujio's cartoons and narrated by both Satoshi Tsumabuki (2014 film adult Nobita) and Wasabi Mizuta (Doraemon).
  • A Sentai team themed after apes (such as monkeys, baboons, and gorillas) similar to Tarzan and Kamen Rider Amazon. It would be filled to the brim with references to movies and anime set in wildlife.
  • A television and film-based team, which revolves around a group of people Trapped in TV Land and become a sentai team to stop villains based on various genres of TV from escaping into the "real world". This will be used as an engine to have wildly varying elements, with every episode homaging different media, while being an overt celebration on Super Sentai's history and role in media.
  • Animals of the Arctic and the Antarctic (both mythological and real)
    • The suits would be half white.
    • Their base would be shaped like a giant igloo.
    • Their vehicles (excluding mecha) will be based on snow and ice vehicles such as snowmobiles.
    • The villains would look like pelt-wearing hunters.
  • A Multinational Team themed after sports, counter-terrorism, and military.

     Pre-premier
There will be an episode where Juru is attempting to score 15 Minutes of Fame from his artwork.
All of his teammates are famous one way or another which would inspire him to become a professional artist (probably a mangaka) and try all sorts of antics, only to learn as An Aesop to be recognised not as a one-hit wonder and to build up his reputation gradually.

The final episode will have Juru releasing a manga covering the exploits of the Kiramagers.
At this point, Juru will finally be as famous as his teammates.

The Yellow and Green rangers are about the same age as Red.
In fact, they go to the same school as him.
  • Jossed for Tametomo, who is 21 as confirmed in Episode ZERO Yellow Hero Interview.
  • Also jossed for Sena, who was revealed to be 21 in the Tokyo Hero Max profile.

The Mooks can harvest dreams out of people.
They can also use them to create the Monster of the Week.

Red can imagine up all the power-ups for himself.
This is putting his creativity to good use.

Juru / Red could have been just as famous as the other four rangers.
It's just that the school he is in does not appreciate enough for him to get recognized.

Galza will betray the actual leader of Yodonheim and take it over himself.
  • Considering how his title is literally the "Demonic General of Betrayal", it wouldn't be a surprise if he decides to usurp Yodonheim from the current leader and take control of it for himself.

Galza did not start out as an evil brother/uncle.
There's a Greater-Scope Villain who's possessing/using him. He is bound to the laws of genie, so he is less of a treacherous spirit and more of an unfortunate soul who is in the possession of the true Big Bad.

Juru (KiramaRed) will learn to move out of his comfort zone.
When it comes to his drawing, he will learn to be more and more professional.

     Post-premier
Shiguru (Kiramai Blue) has more credence to his swordsmanship skill.
Before becoming a stuntman, he was a student in a kendo dojo.

We haven't seen the last of Oradin.
Usually, non-humans (and some humans!) in Sentai don't get typical "lay there unmoving" sorta death scenes; it's Disappears into Light for goodies and Defeat Means Explosion for baddies. Also, Oradin showed himself to be a One-Man Army who only didn't singlehandedly make this a two-minute-long series because of his brother's betrayal, so we know he's quite strong. (Also also, the Princess talks about her kingdom's ruination but not her father's death - too sad to talk about, or... he's not dead? Mind you, if that changes, it'll just mean she underestimated him like we did.) Oradin's going to turn up again.
  • Episode 23 raises the chances of this significantly - if he didn't transmit his consciousness across the stars to Juuru, he could have piggybacked on the Mashin Express Kiramai Stone before finding Juuru upon landfall, or simply turned his own sword into his Soul Jar.

Juru is actually King Oradin's son
A wild stretch, but King Oradin might have reshaped him as a human and sent him over to Earth to keep him safe, which explains why they both have the same Imagination-Based Superpower.
  • As a result, could be the reason why Garza was shocked to learn a human like Juru would have King Oradin's ability, as humans were not meant to have such powers and Juru turns out not to be human.
  • Half true. King Oradin did have a son who lives on Earth, but it isn't Juru. It's actually Takamichi.

Alternative to the above WMG, Juru is actually King Oradin himself, or at least having the consciousness of King Oradin
In episode 4, it is revealed that Juru has known Galza from his dream.
  • Episode 8 shows he even mimics King Oradin's antics perfectly, as if King Oradin himself reincarnates into him. It is possible that in the future, perhaps in the last episode, the happy ending for Mabushiina will involve Juru and King Oradin somehow getting separated, allowing Mabushiina to see her father again.

Oradin is "brought back" as the lifeforce for a new sentient mech
Bonus points if it replaces Jetter as the sword in some capacity. Bonus bonus points if combining with Smog Jouki is part of the process needed to turn Garza good again.
  • Mostly jossed as Mashin Express does combine with Smog Jouki, but it embodies the blessing of King Oradin and that's it.
  • Now confirmed with the existence of Mashin Oradin.

Sena will allude to the postponement of the 2020 Olympics
Where the Olympics special episode would take place, perhaps she would be moaning about training so hard only for it to be shifted next year.

There will be more than just 6 Kiramagers
Due to the fact the only thing someone needs to become a Kiramager is to partner with a Kiramei Stone. Other stones who gained enough sentience will find partners on their own. For example:
  • Mabusheena will partner with the white Kiramei Stone since it was her father's.

Galza will control the King Express at some point.
Just like the Ride Crosser in Kamen Rider Drive which many pointed out its similarity to, the King Express will be controlled into fighting for the Yodonheim due to Jouki's affiliation with it, making the mech as a double-edged sword.
  • This actually already sort of happened, when he was able to control the Jouki head to attack in King Express' first appearance, only for his attack to be redirected when King Express decombined. I think in order for him to take full control he'd have to find a way to kick whichever Kiramager was in the Express cockpit out, to prevent them from decombining.
  • Confirmed in #34.

Galza will be a Disc-One Final Boss
Galza will get killed by Juru in their final battle halfway through the series which causes the leader of Yodonheim to reveal himself and take a more direct approach in the invasion of Earth. Smog Jouki will then be taken by the Kiramagers with Tametomo as its user due to its Breath Weapon fitting with his skillset.

Alternately, Galza is revealed to be a Stealth Mentor akin to Wolzard
Think about it, the only real confirmation of King Oradin's fate is his word for now. He's often been more ruthless with his own troops than his actual enemies. And the case of Reset Button Jamen could be seen as a Mercy Kill.
  • Half true? Leaning on jossed. Episode 21 shows that he functioned as a Stealth Mentor to Takamichi... a Manipulative Bastard version. It's also shown that Oradin's pretty much dead and that he kills people out of sheer anger.

Muryo gets to be KiramaiViolet
And instead of the deliberately anticlimactic older Rangers we've had (like RyusoulBrown), he turns out to be a Dance Battler inspired by '80s aerobics, in particular the Takefuji dancers.
  • Jossed. He is instead imagined as KiramaiGold. Also, he has no intention of becoming a ranger himself, being satisfied in supporting role.

The loose thread left by Reset Button Jamen is resolved in the movie
Our heroes find a way to limit the time reversal effect to a small area, then shoot out the Big Red Button to bring it and the Jamen back - then they convince him to rewire it for a one-time use, turning it into a conventional Deus ex Machina.
  • How do they limit the area of effect? By using Kiramai gems to create a sphere, with one hole for Tametomo to shoot into, while making sure his shot deflects off the walls long enough for them to reseal the hole before it hits.

Yodonna is Emperor Yodon's daughter.
In #34, Emperor Yodon was pretty insistent on Galza saving Yodonna even though Galza was just about to finish off Grateful Phoenix, suggesting a more personal connection between her and Emperor Yodon. It would also explain why her name is pretty much just a feminine version of Yodon.
  • Jossed. She is, in fact, Emperor Yodon himself, or at least a separate personality of his.

If there is a 10 year later special Juuru and the others dynamics will be flipped.
Unlike the the main show where Juuru was nobody important while the other 4 were celebrities, by 10 years Juuru will be a famous artist/manga author just hitting his stride, while the others will have started aging out of their fields or in Sayo's case simply overshadowed by newer smarter doctors and the difference in their situations will be a big part of the special. They may or may not be upset about this, and could potentially refocus their careers (Shigeru starts playing older more mature characters, Sena shifts from running to racing etc) to show they can still "Shine" even at different stages in their lives.

If Kiramager will get a "10 years later" movie, Yodonna would become an ally of a Kiramagers.
The Kiramagers would meet Yodonna and fight her, but then she would explain to them that she became good now and that there are people in Yodonheim (like Hanidora from Yodonna 3) that want to revive Emperor Yodon, so she'll help them fight the movie's antagonist.

     Sixth Ranger guesses
Possible Colors
  • White
  • Black
  • Orange
    • While silver, orange is the secondary color of his suit.
  • Purple
  • Gold
  • Silver
    • Confirmed!
  • Color never used before
    • Crystal
    • Bronze (he's themed after a gem mount)
  • Prism-themed — Primary White, secondary rainbow.
  • Let's face it - a regular sixth Ranger who isn't yet another gold or silver will probably never happen again. Which is too bad - if it could be black, it'd make Juru's colored pencils (the five Rangers' colors, and black) awesome Foreshadowing, as well as letting Power Rangers fans see the original MMPR palette once more if and when it gets adapted. Of course, black doesn't exactly sparkle.

The Sixth Ranger will be the same species as Mabushina
  • Maybe even her brother
    • Semi-confirmed; he is from Earth and is Mabushina's adoptive older brother.
    • Or she becomes the Sixth herself
    • Not likely. The sixth is always a new character who first appears in his debut episode.
      • Not always, though it has been quite some time.

The Sixth Ranger will be a Mashin that becomes human
This Mashin will wish that he was as cool as the Kiramagers, and so is able to assume human form and morph like the rest of them. But similarly to Gosei Knight, they'll also transform into their mecha.
  • Flipped, he is a human/stone hybrid, being in his human form most of the time.

He will be a prince from another kingdom.
And his Mashin will take the form of a flying fortress.
  • Semi-jossed; he is a prince, albeit a commoner human born on Earth who was adopted into the Crystalian royal family. His Mashin is also a giant drill.

He will be themed after metallic ornaments.
This is in contrast to the main team being themed after gemstones.

He's an Aloof Ally who never reveals his real identity to the main team...
...but due to plot convenience they bump into him in the wild, and never make the connection until much later.
  • Looks to be jossed as he's announcing himself like ShinkenGold

He gets his own motorcycle to help him speed off after every fight.
The last time we got a Ranger bike was Kyuranger, and that was a once-off gag.
  • Semi-jossed as his weapon comes with a flying PMD function.

Guesses on Sixth Ranger's personality.
Since Naruhisa Arakawa is the head writer of the show, The personality for Sixth Ranger of Kiramager could be similar to the Sixth Rangers from the shows he written.

  • Hardcore loner and anti-hero like AbareKiller from Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger
  • Wise voice of reason for the team like DekaBreak from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger
  • Comic Relief like GokaiSilver from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
  • A space pirate who loves exploring, but is currently in battle with Yodonhelm. Will bond with Juru once he shines the brightest while flying in the Earth's blue sky.
  • Formerly talentless whose sheer hard work is about to fully pay off.
  • A former criminal or delinquent who wants to improve himself for his past misdeeds.

The Sixth has a connection to either Shovellow or Tametomo.
Thus far all the "construction" themed Mashin do, and given that Silver's Shiny Changer looks like a hard hat with a gem embedded in it, his weapon is a jackhammer that presumably turns into a sword, and his mech is named Giga Driller, it seems unlikely that they won't continue the trend.

He is a CARAT employee
Being paid/sponsored to explore the world for unusual treasures.

As he appears to be an explorer/treasure hunter from scans, he is fascinated with the Kiramagers after witnessing them battle the MOTW somewhere and is on a pursuit for them, unaware he possesses Kiramental himself.
Jossed. Takamichi stumbles across Sayo on one of his adventures and has no interest in fighting with the team.

Shiny Breaker is the true form of Mashin Drijan.
Using Shiny Breaker as the control is uploading Drijan's consciousness to the mecha body.

Takamichi is not a Crystalian.
He is a human adopted by King Oradin.
  • Confirmed in #13.

He is talked into the team via a hefty heart-to-heart with Juru.
Juru gets angry at Takamichi for abandoning Crystalia, and decides to have a pretty hefty heart-to-heart with him that sees Takamichi decide to join the team to redeem himself to Mabushina.

Minjo will return
In order to get revenge on Oladdin for killing her sister, she will place a new curse on Mabushiina.

    Future Mecha

Magellan is tied with KiramaiStone!Driljan.
As a guardian who safeguards the headstone, he is also capable of understanding (and even beeps in) its language.
  • Age wise, Magellan is in-between the cores and the auxiliaries, being a junior in comparison to Driljan's headstone.

The next/final batch consists of a set of 3 military vehicles.
In allusion to the mecha in very early sentai series, they'll be made up of a jet, a tank and carrier that combines into one mecha.
  • Bonus points if those past mecha appears and Juru takes inspiration from them.

Smog Jouki gets an addon mecha to counter King Express Zabyun
It's a lot simpler in design and "driven" by Carantula, by which we mean Galza tweaked it to ensure he has full control this time. Its vehicle mode is a caboose. Bonus points if Galza makes a snide remark about Carantula snacking through the battle.

     Ryusoulger Cross Over guesses
How they bring back all the Kishiryu.
It's a fairly obvious one - all the Ryusoulgers have to tap into their own Kiramentality and reform a new fleet of Kishiryu from a surplus of Kirame gems. As in, a Deus ex Machina where our heroes find a hoard, not because they make Mabushina cry a river (bonus points if she smacks the one suggesting that).
  • They could get really dark with this - the hoard could actually be the remains of Crystallia troops sent to assist the Ryusoul tribe against the Druidons, establishing the crossover event as a legit prophecy.
    • Just the part with the gems is confirmed, though it should take a LOT more than 1 gem each to pull it off, but hey.

Canalo and Takamichi
A joke will be made regarding Canalo's failure to get with a girl and Takamichi's instant Ship Tease with Sayo.
  • Jossed: he goes after Yodonna and Mabushina. Neither of the female Kiramagers are considered (on-screen at least ;) )

Alternately, Canalo's target this time is Mabushina
The Crystallia family line is just as in need of continuing as the Sea Ryusoul tribe, and since Takamichi is adopted and not in the direct line of succession, it's all up to Mabushina.
  • Takamichi's big game plan with the Kanaema stones is to rebuild Crystallia, and let Mabushina be the new queen rather than try to bring her parents back to life, so this option is at least on the table.
    • Confirmed at the very end of the movie.

All of the above theories are Jossed. Due to COVID-19, the crossover movie's not gonna happen.
  • That is Jossed in itself—the crossover is announced after Kiramager's last episode.

This crossover will provide hints to Zenkaiger's mysteries.
For example, Kaito's parents will be involved here that would hint their wherabouts.

     Power Rangers adaptation guesses

If this ever gets a Power Rangers adaptation, the PPAP joke will still be retained.
If ever Hasbro, for some reason, doesn't hire Daimaou Kosaka aka Piko-taro for at least a cameo appearance, his most famous song will at least be acknowledged as sort of an Actor Allusion. During the height of PPAP's popularity, Piko-taro even collaborated with several American creators.

The Power Rangers adaptation will bring back the Zeo Crystal
It seems appropriate, given the gemstone theme. Plus, it would give the writers a chance to explain why the Rangers had to get rid of it in favor of the Turbo powers.

Season Name Guesses
  • Gem Warriors
  • Crystal Machines
  • Crystal Charge
  • Mystic Patrol
  • Jewel Riders
  • Rock Rollers
  • Steel/Iron Charge
  • Gem Drivers
  • Arabian Force
  • Shining Soldiers
  • Arabian Knights
  • G.E.M.

Ranger name and/or civilian identity guesses
  • The rangers' civilian identities could be based on their zords. Thus Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Pink could be a firefighter, construction worker or architect, racer, pilot of some kind, and medic or coast guard respectively.
  • Red
    • Jules
    • River
    • Muhammad, Ali or some other Islamic name, as a Mythology Gag to Kiramager's Muslim references.
  • Yellow
    • Since Kirama Yellow is an esports athlete, the following names are derived from notable IRL esports players
      • Brandon (Larned)
      • Richard (Landström)
      • Gustav (Magnusson)
      • Justin (Wong)
    • Will be mostly known by his nickname/handle name, naming himself after his shooting specialty:
      • Blaster
      • Magnum
      • Barrel
      • "Shinobi" as a reference to Ninja
    • Gomer, which is a real, albeit Hebrew name that's just one letter off from "Gamer". His online handle could be "Gomer the Gamer".
    • Bob, after both Bob the Builder (for the construction equipment roots of his mech) and Bob from ReBoot, due to his love of online games.
  • Green
    • Sheena
    • Named for a known female athlete like Serena (Williams)
    • Ivy
  • Blue
    • Kirama Blue's name means "autumn rain", so the following names have something to do with the season; source: https://www.momjunction.com/articles/fall-autumn-baby-names_00401544/
      • Woodrow
      • Aurelius
      • Radley
      • Rory
      • Archer
      • Wheatley
      • Crispin
      • Rowan
      • Oakley
      • Brock
      • Paisley
      • Griffin
      • Asher
      • Lennox
    • Or they keep his actor job and name him after a big name like Leonardo (DiCaprio) or Tom (everyone thinks it's for Tommy Oliver but it's actually Tom Hanks)
    • Diego, after Zorro.
  • Pink
    • Lacey
    • Gale, after Florence Nightingale.
  • Silver
    • Ahmad or Jamal, a reference to jazz pianist Ahmad Jamal, whose has an album titled "Crystal".

The Rangers' stones would be specified.
Likely as Ruby, Topaz, Emerald, Sapphire, Spinel, and Diamond.
  • Alternatively, they could Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Tanzanite, and Morganite

Interracting with the Kiramai Stones will be written as a stock civilian power.
Red can communicate with them via telekinesis and bring the best of of them, sculpturing them into zords based on vehicles they best represent.

At least one ranger will explicitly be Muslim or at least have a Middle Eastern name
It will be done as a Mythology Gag to this series.

Don't expect this series to be adapted into Power Rangers...
Otherwise, it would be a shameful attempt by Hasbro to cash in on the success of Aladdin (2019), and it would become so widely panned by critics and especially fans, as well as a financial failure that it will end up becoming the ultimate Franchise Killer for Power Rangers.
  • Beyond the fact that the Red Ranger makes some reference to the Muslim faith fans don't see how this can be spun into a "shameless cash in" on Aladdin.
  • This doesn't make any sense. You're basically saying "If this references Islam, Americans will boycott the whole franchise for years to come because only Disney can reference the existence of the Middle East!" and that is, frankly, daft.
  • Besides, it's far too late to try cashing in Aladdin's success; the earliest year Kiramager could be adapted would be 2022, and that's if Dino Fury were to last one year instead of two.
  • Not to mention that in the suits alone there's nothing flat out Arabian, American fans would sooner assume it's Steven Universe inspired.

Or... they just adapt the Ryusoulger Crossover.
Since Dino Fury is already ongoing, there's definitely plans to deal with the Kiramager vs Ryusoulger footage in some way. My guess is they take the Alien Rangers approach, especially with the Kiramager suit design having more in common with Kakuranger than most other seasons, without the ninja aesthetic to work around. Bonus points if the lack of a Kiramager all-mechs-together form inspires Dino Fury to keep their combined mecha forms more streamlined, explaining how Kishiryuoh Jet or King Kishoryuoh use less parts than the earlier Kishiryuoh Five Knights.
  • While it's not impossible, it doesn't really make sense. Alien Rangers still got a 10 episode season, they weren't brought in just to use the Ohranger vs. Kakuranger. More recently, Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters wasn't touched until Go-Busters was adapted. I don't think Hasbro is so desperate to use team-up footage when they can wait and adapt if/when they adapt Kiramager.

At least one of the villains will be voiced by a VA from Steven Universe
Mostly because it would be kind of amusing and a nice shout-out/Voice actor joke.

Yodonna's counterpart will be the Big Bad
Just put a new actress in the costume and you have a human looking villainess a la Rita, Divatox, and Astronema. We haven't gotten that for a while, I think.

The threat will be inter-dimensional rather than from outer space.
There will be dimension-travelling through mirrors.

If there were to be a previous batch of Kiramai-Rangers, then Yelllow and Green would switch genders.

The Kirama Stones and the Mashin will be separate things rather than the same.
If Power Rangers is still unwilling to use talking Zords, they could just use the Kirama Stones as the ones who talked and interacted with the Rangers, while the Mashin's counterparts could be just assumable forms created from their essence, explaining why the Mashin had the Kirama Stones' bodies.
