  • Mobile Kiosk: Berry Bitty Adventures Sour Grapes runs a food truck alongside her sister, Sweet Grapes, though she prefers to make non-sweet dishes.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Sour's blue to Sweet's red, due to Sour being more introverted and Sweet being extroverted, welcoming, and well...sweet.
  • Sweet and Sour Grapes: Sour is a girl who is brash but still trying to be nice, while Sweet is always nice to everyone she meets. Their names are Sweet and Sour Grapes, so they perfectly match this trope, not only because of their names, but also their personalities!

  • Tomboy with a Girly Streak: She's the most tomboyish out of the rest of the cast, but she enjoys pretty outfits as long as they don't look the same as whatever Sweet wears, as Sour stated to Strawberry in the IDW Comics/2018 web series.

  • Sweet Baker: She and Sour have their own baking business, and Sweet sometimes helps Strawberry bake recipes in her cafe as well.
  • Sweet and Sour Grapes: Sweet and her sister Sour are Sweet and Sour Grapes, and Sweet is a sweet girl while Sour is a brash girl that is still learning to be sweet. Their names match the name of this trope!
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The sweet and lovable girly girl to Sour's sarcastic and moody tomboy.

  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Cinnapup completely disappears from the show in Season 4. Chiffon doesn't appear, but is mentioned by Apple Dumplin' in "The Berry Best Biscuit". Both make a proper return in the IDW comics.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: Each of their colors corresponds to their owners with the exception of Pupcake and Tom Tom.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tad_webp.png

A frog who Orange Blossom adopts after catching him in the episode "Fish out of Water". After causing a disturbance around town, Orange releases him back to his pond.

  • Apathetic Pet: Despite Orange going out of her way to take care of him, he shows no signs he cares about her, and doesn't even bother to say goodbye when she releases him. Justified, as Tad wasn't happy about being taken from his home in the first place.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: He grows in size throughout the episode and causes havoc in Berry Bitty City.
  • I Have Many Names: Is given multiple names over the course of the episode. First "Butch", then "Stuart", then "Todd", and finally "Tad", which is what the characters stick with for the rest of the episode.
  • Noisy Nature: His loud croaking irritates the other residents throughout the episode.
  • One-Shot Character: Only appears in "Fish out of Water".

Antagonists

Steve Piemanne/The Peculiar Purple Pieman of Porcupine Peak

Voiced by: Dylan Jones (2018)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/latest13.png
Initially absent in the Berry Bitty Adventures TV series, the Purple Pieman would return in the IDW comics and the 2018 webseries. Otherwise known as Steve Piemanne, an ambitious yet sneaky baker who wants to become famous at any cost.
  • Adaptational Dye-Job: He had white hair in the original 1980s special and the 2003 series, then he had dark blue hair in the Berry Bitty Adventures IDW comics and 2018 webseries.
  • Adaptational Name Change: His name is now “Steve Piemanne”, with the “Purple Pieman” moniker now simply being an alias.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: He's a far cry from his previous incarnations in terms of vileness, and is at worst an annoyance.
  • Added Alliterative Appeal: The Peculiar Purple Pieman of Porcupine Peak.
  • Ambition Is Evil: Downplayed, Steve will gladly cheat to be successful, but he isn’t outright evil.
  • Anti-Villain: He’s much less of a villain than his other versions, but would still act as an antagonist.
  • The Cameo: A picture of him appears in the 2009 series' Dress-Up Dreams app.
  • Cheaters Never Prosper: Whenever Steve tries to cheat during a competition or sabotage Strawberry, it usually comes back to bite him.
  • Cut Lex Luthor a Check: Despite being a fairly skilled baker, he still resorts to cheating to stay ahead of the game.
  • Dastardly Whiplash: Very downplayed compared to his prior incarnations, but certain elements are still present.
  • Poke the Poodle: Even compared to his other incarnations, his actions are at worst a minor inconvenience.
  • Pragmatic Villainy: While he does have a bit of an ego, whenever he gets in over his head he knows the best thing to do is to just swallow his pride and ask Strawberry for help.
  • Thin Chin of Sin: Downplayed compared to other incarnations, as his chin is much more average size and at worst he cheats in competitions, but compared to the other characters in the series, it’s still fairly thin and it is one of the more despicable acts depicted.

    Raisin Cane

Voiced by: Kaylin Lee Clinton (2018)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/latest16.png
Sour and Sweet Grapes' cousin, an internet-famous diva and a self-centered restaurant critic. Raisin appeared in the Berry Bitty Adventures IDW comics and later made her animation debut in the 2018 webseries.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: In her original incarnation, she legitimately wanted to be friends with Strawberry. In the IDW comics, she’s self-centered and condescending to Strawberry and willingly works with Steve Piemanne in his schemes. She is slightly nicer in the webseries, though that comes from being a Composite Character of the other girls.
  • Canon Immigrant: Initially starting as an obscure comic character from the 1980s, she was eventually brought over to Berry Bitty Adventures in the comics, and eventually the 2018 webseries as a main cast member.
  • It's All About Me: In 2018, she is so focused on her followers on social media that she becomes very self centered and thinks she's right about everything.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: In the 2018 web series, she is a snobby and selfish social media star. However, she does think of specific ways to help Orange Blossom in many ways, like how she can sell fans to people in Berry Bitty City, and who can be the best person to help with Orange Blossom's family reunion.
  • Punny Name: Her name is a pun on “raising canes”, which means to cause mayhem.
