Introduced in Wings of Beginnings
WINGS
Standing for Warriors Inter-National Guardian Security, WINGS is a defence force consisting of only Pokémon as it's members. What makes them unique is that the Pokémon present have a Dynacrystal embedded in them, granting them abilities including the ability to Dynamax or Gigantamax for a short duration without the need of a Power Spot or Wishing Star presences in Galar.
Main Squad
The main squad consists of the main characters raised specially by Commander Gardious Galecita and Professor Pentaster Aquarius. An Infernape who fights using his fists and fire. His stubborn and hot-headed personality usually brings out undying hope for him to pursue saving lives as he can.
- Armor-Piercing Attack: Whatever fire Iggy manipulates back against enemies has it bypass any fire resistances against them.
- Bare-Fisted Monk: He fights using his fists and is the most common out of everyone to fight without a technical weapon.
- Clueless Chick-Magnet: He is absolutely oblivious to the attention female admirers give him.
- Oblivious to Love: Iggy is rather dense about romance when it's directed towards him. Especiallly his relationship to Aria.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Iggy may be one of the shortest members around the group, but that doesn't stop him from burning or punching anything until end.
- Playing with Fire: Figuratively and literally. Iggy's Dynacrystal allows him to manipulate fire's movements. He can also use it on natural fire or fire created by enemies, though for the latter he needs more energy to consume.
- Pretty Boy: Unlike most of the male cast and his status as a self-style martial artist, he has a pretty slim build but still a nicely pretty appearance that draws some girls towards him.
- Shock and Awe: Iggy knows the move Thunderpunch to use against most aquatic and avian foes he is more vulnerable against. Also, he can redirect electricity only towards him to a separate direction.
An Abomasnow who is very quiet and doesn't speak much, only mumbling that most of his friends are able to translate into larger messages. He bears an air of tranquility from his appearance.
- Acrofatic: Downplayed. Just because he is... uh... big-boned, doesn't mean he isn't capable of acrobatic movements. Though his movements are still slow.
- An Ice Person: Also part of his Dynacrysyal enhancements. His ice is more potent to be able to quickly freeze up foes... or people who call him... fat.
- Appearance Angst: Arubo is very concerned to himself of his flabby belly despite the stocky build his species normally has.
- Beware the Quiet Ones: Never, EVER, call Arubo 'fat'. You are never safe regardless of where you are before he freezes you in an coat of ice.
- BFS: Uses one as his main weapon.
- Close-Call Haircut: Has his mouth fur partially cut off against the unknown enemy/Luigi in Frost Cavern. He later fully cut off his mouth fur afterwards for the rest of Wings of Beginnings.
- Gentle Giant: He is big, doesn't talk much and quite polite with many. However, he is still a member of WINGS.
- Precision F-Strike: Arubo's actually quite frequent of this: as long as he is called fat. Without his mouth fur since Chapter 21, it is enunciated loud and clearly.
- Stout Strength: For his... ahem, broad appearance, he still hits hard swinging his greatsword around.
- The Quiet One: Arubo rarely ever speaks words. And when he does, it's usually words to help dispel doubts or calm his fellow teammates.
A Garchomp dual-wielding a sword and knife set which can merge into a spear for him to use. Ever since having the Dynacrystal implanted onto him, he fears losing people around him, but...
- Bifurcated Weapon: Subverted with his sword and knife set. The short sword isn't part of the larger blade; the sheath is just mounted on it to make it seem like it.
- Broken Ace: Ever since Chapter 13, Luigi's been fearing the power of the unknown Mega Stone-infused heart he has been "gifted" with. It made him able to bypass the effects of his Dynacrystal removing memories of the deceased from his mind, and as a result, begun to make him more withdrawn and cold towards his fellow teammates.
- Dual Wielding: Luigi wields his two swords like this.
- Foster Kid: From Chapter 12, Iron stated and Zakh confirms that Luigi is adopted into Fran's family briefly.
- Javelin Thrower: His sword and knife can shift into spear mode which he can use to throw at enemies from a range.
- Morph Weapon: His dual blades can transform into a lance.
- Mr. Fanservice: Luigi has an athletically built body with four-packs and generally has some scenes of him bare at least from the top describing his figure.
- Precision F-Strike: Luigi is the first of the characters to do this, justified that he was in a growing temper during that time.Luigi: I'm not a heartless, fucking monster!
- Survivor Guilt: Unintentionally is the main cause of the deaths of the squad he was in when they were investigating an unknown cause which actually originated from another dimension, specifically the ones with the Megahearts.
A Primarina wielding a flute and having incredible abilities of water manipulation and music from her flutist skills. She has a gentle nature and cares well for her comrades. Unlike most of the members, she is a Half-Blood Pokémon having the blood of a Mythical Pokémon in her veins.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Iggy had to take a water spout for suddenly leaving her on Wings of Beginnings Chapter 18.
- Magic Music: Uses her flute to attack and support the party.
- Musical Assassin: She uses a flute and fights enemies with her music. Her initial flute is a gift given to her on her birthday from someone unknown.
- Semi-Divine: Aria's a Half-Blood, her mother being the Mythical Pokémon Meloetta.
- Squishy Wizard: She has one of the worst physical sets of attributes, but has the highest capacity to conduct spells in one full storage and is great with supportive or water techniques.
A Flygon who joined WINGS just years ago. He is usually very timid and underconfident of himself. Wields a bow and has learnt abilities and magic to heal others.
- Butt-Monkey: No one for their first meeting ever calls Fran a man.
- Closet Gay: Fran is infatuated towards his adopted elder brother, but he is extremely nervous to tell him his exact feelings.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Fran's normal appearance as a Flygon is suffice to say, incredibly beautiful with womanly proportions. Many who meet him for the first time without reading his biography assume he's a woman.
- Even the Guys Want Him: After finding out that the pretty, 'female', goddess Flygon is in fact a man? Some still remain infatuated towards him.
- Fragile Speedster: Fran is one of the faster members who attacks with his bow but defensively, he's still considerably brittle.
- Friendly Sniper: Fran is one of the ranged-oriented characters and he's very polite while he isn't nervous.
- Lethal Chef: For whatever reason when Fran always usually deviates from the recipe for being unable to tell the difference between similar-looking ingredients, the food he makes somehow tastes like sand regardless of what it should have been. He's putting 'Desert Spirit' to a whole new level...
- Shrinking Violet: Fran is very timid and shy around just about everyone, stammering plenty and twiddling his fingers nervously.
- Unsettling Gender-Reveal: To many who finds out that she... is a he, especially Brandt, who hit on him for a week, is still in denial after the revelation and touched his chest to confirm everything.
- White Mage: His Dynacrystal allows him to be able to use energy to heal his allies and himself.
- Wholesome Crossdresser: Unlike the males of the entire group, Fran is able to equip female-exclusive equiment, much to his chargin. That means he can already keep himself free from Status Aliments earlier than male characters would.
- Expy: Of Akiza Izinski from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds.
- Green Thumb: Along with Arubo and Treant, hers lie towards debilitation.
A Rhyperior wielding a hammer and having the ability to manipulate earth. Usually outgoing and trying to get girls' attention to him, he holds a not-so-secret crush on his fellow colleague, Claire Leonhart.
WINGS's ill-mannered, foul-mouthed "problem member". He's not actually looking to pick a fight, but it sure seems as though he is. His grades are poor, but his skills with a staff is unmatched.
- Book Dumb: Gray is the worst academically performing member out of the main squad.
- Expy: Of Nine from Final Fantasy: Type-0.
- Idiot Hero: His Running Gag is trying to prove he's a (insert adjective) person by naming the eight regions, only to be told that doing that won't make him (insert adjective). And when asked to just do that, he can't get the names right.
- Kiai: One of his attacks involve yelling really loudly, appropriately called Shout, to harm enemies.
- Magically Inept Fighter: He's great in physical combat and defense, but he absolutely can't cast spells to save lives.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: Generally the Red Oni to Guy's Blue Oni.
- Verbal Tic: Usually begins his sentences with "Yo" and ends his sentences with "ya'ow" or "ah".
Gray's elder twin brother in WINGS who always has a smile on his face. His leisurely tone and jokes are able to dispel tension in even the most dire situations. Though he appears frivolous on the surface, he deliberately tries to lighten the mood and has a stoic side he rarely shows around others.
- Affectionate Nickname: Guy loves to give anyone whom he meets nicknames as a term of endearment.
- Blood-Splattered Warrior: He can't help it either: taking damage or reducing his state down to critical levels leaves his clothes soaked in his blood... until he soaks the enemies' blood along.
- Cast from Hit Points: Guy's Cracking Raid sets his HP to One.
- Clark Kent Outfit: When Guy does not have any of his clothing on, viewers can see that he is incredibly ripped with six-packs compared to his slightly less muscular younger twin.
- Cloudcuckoolander: His apparently very silly everyday behaviour and going through tough times with a crack of a joke has this view on him.
- Counter-Attack: How his Slowpoke and Instinct works.
- Difficult, but Awesome: Out of everyone, Guy is literally the slowest character in movement, even without his weapon called. His regular attacks are incredibly slow and can easily be dodged. However, if one can have him counter well and make use of his low HP benefits, Guy can easily become one of the most damaging members of the party.
- Dissonant Serenity: Killing Dulleds? Smiling. In the middle of a large battle? Smiling. Everyone is down and gloomy? Still smiling.
- Genius Ditz: Guy always looks so lazy, seemingly a slacker. However, his higher than average grades and combat skills says otherwise.
- Hidden Depths: While alone by himself and seeing visions of him dying, Guy is suspecting something about themselves, which he assures others that once the right time comes, he can tell them.
- HP to One: This is what Guy's Cracking Raid does to him, putting him at his literal last legs, but using the health he consumed to unleash a devastating attack as a crimson wave.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: In the first of the Side Stories in the main stories or generally a previous timeline, he died by dropping into a stalagmite through the stomach.
- Laughing Mad: Put him in a hot environment, and see him do this in a sudden drunken-like stupor.
- Life Drain: After using Cracking Raid, Guy is able to take off enemies' vitality to restore his own. It even includes Undead targets which normally would have dealt damage while restoring their own if targeted by draining techniques.
- Mellow Fellow: Guy is usually present with a smile on his face, cracking jokes and puns to lighten the mood around.
- Mighty Glacier: He is literally the slowest moving character out of everyone by normal standards, even without his weapon summoned. But bulking that up are high parameters that allow him to dish out damage an axe can do.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Because of setting his health to critical levels, Guy possesses frightening nimble movement that allows him to slip through any attacks for a short moment.
- Older Than They Look: Despite acting lazy and jovial in his work and life, Guy is 22 years old and is the older twin of the rambunctious Gray.
- The Pollyanna: Life is hard but he is still hopeful, even when he has to fake a smile or genuinely smile and being cheerful.
- Troll: Oh, does Guy love to do this a lot. Ranging from jokes to even fooling around with enemies... And even ruining heartwarming moments at very inappropriate timings, his fun doesn't even stop from his younger twin either.
- Amazonian Beauty: Being a Nidoqueen, Claire has incredible bodily measurements and a muscular build that sends forth many Pokémon in WINGS to be infatuated around her, including Brandt. Unfortunately, due to her being Oblivious to Love, she doesn't even notice how sexy she is.
- Badass Long Coat: She wears a large coat around her as part of her combat uniform.
- Catchphrase: Relating to Brandt? "Weird."
- Even the Girls Want Her: Scorch expressed about Claire's figure being incredible in Chapter 17 when she was focused onto the feminine-bodied Fran.
- Hidden Buxom: Claire usually wears a breastplate with her combat attire, her reason is seeing that her breasts bounce around too much without it.
- Lightning Bruiser: Claire's stats have her versed in attack and defense. She has good movement and attack speed too. However, being centralized as a tank, she lacks more ranged options to handle enemies from afar.
- Mix-and-Match Weapon: Her gunblade is her Weapon of Choice.
- Oblivious to Love: Claire has a worse case of this when compared to Iggy. Even when the one obviously crushing on her gets cold feet every time in front of her, she thinks he is being weird.
- Stuff Blowing Up: Her gunblade can cause explosions from the blade and released bullets.
Higher-Ups
Consisting of the more important Pokémon who manages WINGS. They are the ones who raised up members of WINGS.
WINGS's Commander and the main teacher of the main squad. Once celebrated as an Elite of Galar, he is known as the Aerial Reaper, his attacks tearing through enemies like a violent gale. Though appearing dominantly frightening, he truly cares of the members of WINGS.
An intelligent Starmie wise beyond his years, working as a Professor in WINGS. While not suited for combat missions, Pentaster is fluent on the arts of supportive magic. He wishes to create a solution that would allow those with Dynacrystals to be able to continue remembering the deceases.
WINGS's primary physical trainer (though he is not there most of the time due to certain reasons). He was part of the Galar Defense Force alongside Gardious and Pentaster, and his swordsmanship is exemplary. Has a huge habit of being half-naked.
- Hopeless with Tech: Takan can't figure out on his life on how to open electronic doors, or even respond to his communicators.
- Hunk: Despite his insectoid body, Takan has grown abs at his underbelly.
- Mistaken for Pedophile: Takan is roughly two decades older than most of the cast and he casually checks the Dynacrystal of newcomers without their consent.
- Mr. Fanservice: His Walking Shirtless Scene shows his adult and pretty muscular build.
- Running Gag: Takan will always be topless: either taking off his tops when given to wear or having them destroyed by attacks.
- Samurai: Takan fights like this with three katanas in a set by his side.
- Silver Fox: Takan is nearing his fifties and he is considerably attractive and has gained many young admirers, male and female alike.
- Walking Shirtless Scene: Takan is constantly always half-naked and never ever puts a shirt on unless it is for occasions (or the others force him to).
- Even if he does have a shirt on, he'd either take it off himself or someone somehow miraculously destroys only his shirt.

- Punny Name: Glitch Atad, it fits the fact that the Dubious Disc used to evolve him to a Porygon-Z makes his personality unstable, and Atad, an anagram of 'data'.
- Recurring Extra: Since there are many dimensional counterparts, Glitch also turns up in another realm called Unita as a doctor. He will appear in more places eventually.
- Summon Magic: Able to call forth digital products, mainly turrets to fire off fire, ice and thunder rounds in rapid-fire rate.

Recruits
Those who have just recently joined WINGS, but have already shown skills to participate in joint missions with the main squad.
An Empoleon recruit who surprisingly has his shield as his primary weapon. Skilled in his defensive tactics, he usually has a calm and composed personality... until he thinks you call him short.
- Berserk Button: It's easy to make Claus flip when you call him "short", or even if he thinks you indirectly call him "short.
- Expy: Most of his general attire and personality is derived from the Warrior of Light, while his temper of being addressed as short, from Edward Elric.
- The Napoleon: Claus is shorter than the average Empoleon, at 1.3 metres in height. But point that out and his aggressiveness will show.
A Torterra who wields a giant sword and holds it by biting onto its' hilt and ability to cause wood to burst from locations. Generally very quiet, she has trouble speaking out her mind fully.
- BFS: And she bites onto it's hilt too.
- Boob-Based Gag: Treant's breasts once a few times caused her breastplate straps to snap. Or used as a cushion... in a sense.
- Childhood Friend Romance: With Rutile. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long.
- D-Cup Distress: Treant is extremely embarrassed of her E-Cups after she has grown since being a Grotle. And E-Cups... in Torterra figures.
- The Blacksmith: Treant regularly does smithing of weapons and armor during her free time.
An Salted Cream Alcremie with strawberry bangs. It is said that she had been raised by Dulleds in her childhood years. She has an strange fascination with Dulleds, knowing to sew and create plush replications of the ones she has knowledge of. She is generally nice despite her fascinations and can be snarky. Also supportive with Brandt's crush on Claire.
- Beware the Nice Ones: She is pretty polite, supportive, and nice. However, she shouldn't be messed with as she is one of the deadliest mid-ranged fighters.
- Chainsaw Good: Her main weapon is a polearm with chainsaws as blades on both ends. The chainsaws use her magic as fuel to deal strong damage overtime effects.
- Combat Medic: She may not be strong as Fran in damage, however, all of her skills heal while dealing damage and passive ability prevents allies from getting inflicted with Status Ailments with her around.
- Death by a Thousand Cuts: Her Attack is low, however, because of having the highest ATK Speed and Magic boosting her physical attacks, her DPS is among the highest. It also heals allies.
- Gentleman Snarker: She mainly does this when not happy with something.
- Mage Killer: Her Defense is below average but high Special Defense while dealing high DPS in physical attacks.
- Magic Knight: While having low physical damage, her Special Attack and aptitude in magic is high. She is strong in the front-lines and can provide healing and support Magic at the same time.

- Raised by Wolves: She reveals she is raised by benevolent Dulled during the mission she was invited along with Aria and Rutile.
A Seismitoad who has recently come into WINGS, wielding a handgun primarily. He has a sense of archaeology and adventure, allowing him to manuvere through ancient places many are unfamiliar with, and the outdoors knowledge to survive and make adaptive food and tools.
- Adventurer Archaeologist: Prior to finding WINGS, Swamp has been exploring ruins and other dangerous sites in search of rare histories and artefacts. Even Iron comments whether he is actually Indiana Jones.
- Fights Like a Normal: Unlike the other members, Swamp never uses much of the enhancements the Dynacrystal gives him and mainly sticks in using his handgun, explosives, items crafted, and grappling hook.
A female Cinderace whom is met before exploring old ruins. While oddly not much is known of her history, she has the skills and abilities to be able to handle herself well in combat.
Twin brothers Metangs of the names Iron and Blitz Polarize, Iron is the smarter, but very physically weak elder brother while Blitz is the physically stronger, but very stupid younger brother. Brains and brawn separated, alright... Because of their own physical and mental status, Iron is usually at HQ to guide the outdoors-going Blitz to make use of his strength.
Tropes that apply to Iron
- Non-Action Guy: Unlike the other members of WINGS and his colleagues, Zakh and Safka, Iron lacks any skills in combat and has subpar skills in combat. He is easily taken out in a few hits, relatively frail despite being a Metang. Unlike Pentaster, he cannot go in field missions that he mainly acts as the Load while Pentaster can use some support magic and barriers better than Iron. As Ironblitz, Iron acts as Mission Control with Blitz doing all the work due to being able to control the body better than Iron.
- The Load: In field missions, one member had to carry him around due to his weak combat capabilities. As shown, he was easily taken out by Latios in one hit despite blocking it with Shell.
Tropes that apply to Blitz
- Dumb Muscle: Blitz boasts incredible physical prowess beyond a regular Metang... but he's incredibly stupid and needs to rely on Iron's directions for him to act.
- Open Mouth, Insert Foot: Blitz's stupidity and lack of self-awareness consistently flips Berserk Buttons for many of the... sensitive members.
A Rampardos who wields a shield and Treant's childhood friend and crush. He loves making flower crowns with a passion for decorating areas with flowers. Rutile is shown to be tactical and smart in combat despite the species' general stupidity.
- Armor is Meaningless: Defied, his armor helped him survive a few blows from Luigi. When he lost it, Luigi was able to gut him like a fish.
- Barrier Warrior: The shield he wields can create barriers due to what his Dynacrystal gave him. However, he couldn't move while putting them up for being a rookie. It was stated to rival Claus and could be better if he wasn't killed.
- Childhood Friend Romance: With Treant. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long. No, really.
- Clothing Damage: His armor was ripped apart that allowed Luigi to stab him to death.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Gutted like a fish by Luigi.
- Fandisservice: He is quite good-looking and has ripped abs. You do manage to see them...While Luigi gutted him like a fish.
- Genius Bruiser: He is pretty intelligent despite the species' reputation of Too Dumb to Live, though his grades in academic are average.
- Heroic Sacrifice: He let himself die to help Luigi go back to normal and saved lives at Lilycove City.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Luigi, while under the the berserk effect of Mega Evolution, impaled him using his spear repeatedly.

- Muscles are Meaningful: His armor cover it much but he is shown to be quite muscular and can block powerful hits without getting tired.
- Sacrificial Lamb: He appeared for two chapters, when he was introduced and then killed by Luigi by the next. However, he was shown to be a sweet and lovable guy with great defensive tactics during his appearance.
