Main Characters

     Spike
  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In canon, Spike treats Twilight like his own mother/older sister but in Highschool Dragon, he and Twilight are lovers and eventually a married couple, considered the source material, it’s justified.
  • Amazon Chaser: He's attracted to Applejack due to her amazon-size body and Applejack even likes him for calling her "Amazon" since it was the nicest thing to say about her height as most boys would call her a "Monster".
  • Berserk Button: Whatever you do, don’t harm his harem in front of him or else he will kick your ass. Grogar learned this the hard way when he cast an illusion spell on Spike by "killing" his harem which led to his untimely demise when Spike crushed him to his death
  • Everyone Has Standards: Spike may be a pervert who thinks with his dick half the time and desires his own harem, but he states he wouldn’t include little girls (Flurry Heart), elderly folks (Granny Smith) and especially total bitches (Spoiled Rich) in his harem. He even made a list of women he wouldn’t include in his harem.
  • Harem Seeker: Spike has an intense passion for girls that mirrors an Equestrian dragon's passion for treasure.
  • I Do Not Like Green Eggs and Ham: Downplayed. He doesn’t hate gemstones, he just finds them too beautiful to eat but once he ate one, he started eating them all much to Rarity’s dismay.
  • Interspecies Romance: His harem is not limited to just ponies, he also romanced Humans, Dragon, Zebra and Sirens. Eventually, he (Dragon/Human) ends up marrying Twilight (Pony).
  • Official Couple: with Twilight. Spike ends up marrying Twilight first, although he promised the other girls that he would marry them as well.
  • Playing with Fire: As a dragon, he has the power to breathe fire.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: In "Power Drain and Gain" chapter, Spike delivers a speech to Tirek after he was defeated by him and his girls.
Spike: Because all you cared about was your own selfish greed of taking something that doesn't belong to you. Magic is precious to a unicorn, as is an earth pony's strength, and a pegasi's ability to fly. Your consumption to have it all led you to this state Tirek. You only have yourself to blame.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: His dynamic with Pinkie Pie. He's a Deadpan Snarker to Pinkie Pie's Genki Girl
  • Something Only They Would Say: In "The MILF Fantasy" chapter, this is how Spike figures out that 'Velvet' is actually Twilight when she kissed him, and he know it's her since the kissing is so similar to him which led to him realizing that it's Twilight in disguise as her mother.
  • Super Mode: The "true dragon power." It manifests as purple armor all over Spike's body. Along with blades on his tail.
  • Understanding Boyfriend: Downplayed. In "A New Role in Life" chapter, Twilight reveals to Spike that she’s a pony but despite that, Spike still fell madly in love with her even though they weren’t dating at that time. In "Power Drain and Gain" chapter, Spike in his human form kissed Twilight who was in her pony form after her Power was taken away by Tirek at Discord's insistence. He doesn’t even care if he was kissing Twilight as a pony with his human lips because to him, she’s Twilight no matter what form she takes.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Twilight. In "The MILF Fantasy" chapter, Spike makes it clear that he's very loyal to Twilight and he wouldn't jeopardize his marriage with her over a fling with her mom which is why he turned down having sex with Velvet.
  • Unstoppable Rage: When Grogar stabbed "Twilight" in front of him, her "death" causes Spike to let his rage consume him and get into a Berserk state and becoming a giant dragon. His rage leads him to killing Grogar, knocking Stone out cold and basically destroyed anything that stood in his way. Fortunately, the girls managed to calm him down by assuring him that they're alive.

     Twilight Sparkle
  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In canon, Twilight treats Spike like her own son/younger brother but in Highschool Dragon, she and Spike are lovers and eventually a married couple, considered the source material, it’s justified.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She seems to be very jealous everytime Spike get too close with any girls other than herself and her eyes twitch a lot.
  • My Sister Is Off-Limits: She once threatens Spike that if he dares to include Cadence, her sister-in-law, in his harem, she wouldn’t let him touch her body ever again. In Harem Legion, she added Cadence along with her mom to the list of women that Spike wouldn’t include in his harem.
  • Official Couple: With Spike. She later became Spike's wife.
  • Top Wife: She's the top girl in Spike's harem. When Spike suggests building a harem, the ultimate okay goes through her. And he marries her first.
  • Violently Protective Girlfriend: Downplayed. She fires a warning shot at Prince Blueblood when he made a racist remark about Spike. But when it comes to combat all bets are off.

     Rarity

     Applejack
  • Amazonian Beauty: Spike even calls her an Amazon when he first lays eyes on her.
  • The Big Girl: As the strongest member of the team, she qualifies as this.
  • Green Thumb: Her elemental powers from her Element of Honesty.
  • Living Lie Detector: As the bearer of the Element of Honesty, she can pick up whether or not someone is telling the truth.

     Fluttershy
  • Apologetic Attacker: In a battle with the Shadowbolts, she uses her powers to slam them against surfaces and each other. Then she immediately apologizes for hurting them.
  • Blow You Away: Her elemental powers from her Element of Kindness.
  • Dominatrix: You could say Spike's sex with "Assertive Fluttershy" was rather unpleasant for Spike.

     Rainbow Dash
  • Jerkass Realization: In "Exercise and Shower Off" chapter, Rainbow told Spike that in the past, she flat-out made Fluttershy to choose either her or Twilight after becoming jealous of seeing the former hanging out with the latter. That's when Rainbow realizes what a bitch she was when Fluttershy told her that she was treating her like property than a friend and she felt ashamed of herself. Rainbow apologizes to them once she joined the team after dealing with Twittermites.
  • Shock and Awe: Her elemental powers from her Element of Loyalty.

     Pinkie Pie

     Sunset Shimmer
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: In canon, Sunset is introduced as a villain bent on acquiring Equestrian magic before going through her Heel–Face Turn. In this story, she's introduced as a straight up Nice Girl, and the only reason she becomes a villain is because she's brainwashed by Chrysalis.
  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In canon, Sunset used to be Princess Celestia’s student before she expels her which led to her having a personal grudge against her but in Highschool Dragon, she isn’t Celestia’s student and have no grudge against her.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: As the She-Demon.
  • Empowered Badass Normal: She was already a martial artist before Chrysalis brainwashed her. This also counts for when she joins the heroes.
  • The Man in the Mirror Talks Back: Sunset Shimmer argues with her reflection in a store window about why she doesn't deserve to be friends with Spike and the girls after all she did as She-Demon.

Equestria

     Princess Celestia
  • Disappointed in You: To Prince Blueblood when he helps Nightmare Moon to take over Equestria.
  • I Have No Son!: Once Prince Blueblood is captured by Spike, Celestia disappointingly tells Blueblood that she doesn't know what he's to her anymore.

     Princess Luna
  • Easily Forgiven: Despite what she did as Nightmare Moon, Celestia is happy to see her sister again.

     Trixie Lulamoon
  • Easily Forgiven: She was a willing agent in Nightmare Moon's plans, and she murders Spike at the beginning of the story. She gets charged with community services and becomes Princess Luna's apprentice.
  • Evil Pays Better: By her own admission she partakes in villainy specifically for money. Though, she does later admit that she continued because it was fun.
  • Love-Interest Traitor: To Spike. She asks him out on a date at the beginning of the story and murders him afterwards. Fortunately, Twilight was there to save his life.
  • Ship Tease: It was implied in Harem Legion that Trixie and Flash are dating
  • Starter Villain: She, along with Descent, were the first opponents Spike faced.

    Descent/Flash Sentry
  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In the canon, Twilight and Flash have Ship Tease moment between each other but in Highschool Dragon, Twilight and Flash are enemies while Flash was brainwashed, not to mention that there’s no Ship Tease moment between them since Twilight is in love with Spike.
  • Canon Character All Along: Descent is actually a Brainwashed and Crazy Flash Sentry.
  • Ship Tease: It was implied in Harem Legion that Flash and Trixie are dating
  • Starter Villain: He, along with Trixie, were the first opponents Spike faced.

     Prince Blueblood
  • Adaptational Villainy: While he was certainly not the most pleasant person to be around with in canon, he at least was seemingly loyal to his family and never betrayed his kingdom. And the comics did show that he has some redeeming qualities (keyword being "some") as he was (at best) Vitriolic Best Buds with Shining Armor, (sort of) cares for his dog, Bunny and is (surprisingly) good with diplomacy. Here however, he's a straight up grade A, backstabbing prick. He's openly racist towards Spike; is The Mole for Nightmare Moon; and was more than happy to sell out his own aunt if it meant having her throne.
  • Dirty Coward: When Nightmare Moon and her forces begin a fight against the Mane 6 and Spike, Prince Blueblood decides to hide under the buffet table. He also tries to slip away after Nightmare Moon is defeated.
  • The Evil Prince: He allies himself with Nightmare Moon because she promises to grant him the throne.
  • Fantastic Racism: He calls the guards on Spike upon their first meeting. And he makes a remark about how he doesn't want Spike getting close to him.
  • Fate Worse than Death: Princess Celestia sentenced him to spend the rest of his life living in the dungeon after he betrayed them by helping Nightmare Moon.
  • Hate Sink: Everyone absolutely cannot stand Prince Blueblood and Spike straight-up told Celestia that if he was her, he would put the bratty stallion up for adoption. no one was sad when he was sent to the dungeon.
  • Jerkass: Even more so here than in canon and that's really saying something.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: in "Canterlot Castle" chapter, he made a racist remark to Spike.... 2 chapters later, he got his ass handled by Spike and no one felt bad when he lost everything.
  • The Mole: He helps Nightmare Moon invade Canterlot during the Summer Sun Celebration.
  • Prince Charmless: Rarity indicates that just like in canon she learned it the hard way.

     Bahamut

     Discord
  • Adaptational Heroism: In canon, Discord was unrepentant about how evil he was until Fluttershy solidified his Heel–Face Turn. In this story, he apologized for almost destroying Equestria and joined the side of the good guys immediately upon being released from imprisonment by Celestia and Luna in his Backstory. Also, unlike in canon there is no question on whose side Discord is really on.
  • Chaotic Good: The "Balance Seeker" variety.
  • Trickster God: Lampshaded. He compares himself to other well-known Trickster Gods upon his introduction.

     Stone Edge
  • Ascended Extra: He was originally a minor character in The Girls Of My Life another Spike harem fanfiction made by Wildcard25. In this story he's a major supporting character.
  • Bad Ass Longcoat: Wears a trench coat.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Lost his parents to Grogar when he was younger. One has to wonder how he stays so chipper.
  • A Day in the Limelight: 'Zombie Swordpony' arc focuses on Stone Edge and his relationship with his dead father who was resurrected by Grogar to fight against Stone.
  • Demoted to Extra: In Harem Legion, he appears less compared to Highschool Dragon and he's only appeared in one chapter of Harem Legion so far. Considered that not only Spike got more experience as a dragon but Stone is now married to Octavia, it's rather justified.
  • Didn't Think This Through: His introduction. He didn't want to come off as intruding and didn't have a cover story, so he broke into Spike's house and waited for him in the attic. As a result, the first meeting became very awkward when Twilight and Spike mistake him for a trespasser. Additionally, Twilight points out that if he hadn't been making noises at the time, they would not have checked for him. Stone Edge ends up admitting this afterwards.
  • Eccentric Mentor: Spike claims this about him.
  • Expy: He’s basically Highschool Dragon’s answer to Yuto Kiba as both of them are Master Swordsman and assist the team of all girls along with the male lead as well being a good friend with said male lead.
  • The Mentor: He becomes this to Spike to help him master the "true dragon power."
  • Official Couple: After dating her, He married Octavia Melody
  • Original Character: Wildcard25 credits him as an OC made by Rubyfire377.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: He shares The Blue Oni along with Bahamut to Spike’s Red Oni
  • The Worf Effect: Despite being a Badass Master Swordsman with a legendary sword, he easily got knocked out by Spike when he was in a Berserk state which puts him in a hospital for few chapters. Justified, as Spike was a freaking giant at the time.

     Silver Streak
  • Back from the Dead: Grogar resurrected him to do his bidding.
  • Bad Ass Longcoat: Like Stone, He wears a trench coat as well. Must run in the family.
  • Forced to Watch: Instead of being a mindless monster, Grogar made him fully sentient. Meaning he's fully aware when he's forced to attack innocent towns and fighting his own son.
  • Interspecies Romance: His wife, Amethyst is a Dragoness.
  • Posthumous Character: Played with. He died years before the story started but Grogar brought him back from the dead.

     Garble
  • Embarrassing Nickname: Spike teases Garble after learning his nickname from his sister, Smolder, is 'Gar-Gar' much to his embarrassment.
  • Everyone Has Standards: He may be a jerk but he felt bad for Spike when he dies from using too much energy from his berserk state.
  • Never Live It Down: Catrina brought up his failure of winning Gauntlet of Fire much to his dismay.

     Catrina
  • Drugs Are Bad: Like in the original G1 series, she is addicted to witchweed.
  • Heel–Face Turn: She comes back to her senses after she is tricked into drinking a potion that cures her of her addiction.

     Rep
  • Token Good Teammate: Unlike the rest of the Legion of Doom, he's less evil and the reason he's helping them is because he loves Catrina and ever since she became addicted to witchweed, he was forced to become her henchman.

     The Dazzlings
  • Adaptational Heroism: Unlike in canon where they're still antagonists, while they were working for the Legion of Doom, they eventually fall in love with Spike and felt bad when they betrayed him to Tirek.
  • Easily Forgiven: While Spike was angry at them for their betrayal, he ultimately forgave them when they give his power back to him, and he eventually have the princesses being merciful on the Dazzlings. According to Wildcard25's update on Spike's harem, the Dazzlings are now part of Spike's harem once they served their time in the dungeon.
  • Heel–Face Turn: They end up falling in love with Spike for real, feeling guilty for betraying him, and help him. They are eventually allowed to join his harem after serving their time in the dungeon.
  • Honey Trap: Tirek hired them to seduce Spike since he cannot resist attractive girls and lures him to a trap once Dazzlings took away his powers.
  • In Love with the Mark: Tirek hired them to seduce Spike and drain him of his powers, while simultaneously use their Hate Plague on him to slowly turn him into a jerkass and alienate his harem. However, they end up falling in love with Spike for real while seducing him due to his kindness toward them.
  • Love-Interest Traitor: To Spike. Tirek hired them to seduce and brainwash Spike. Unlike Trixie, they do feel bad when they betrayed him.
  • Love Redeems: They have a Heel–Face Turn because they fell in love with Spike, and after serving their time in the dungeon they officially join his harem.
  • Motivational Kiss: Spike gives them each a kiss on the lips before they are sent away to begin their sentence, telling them it is motivation to behave themselves.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: The Dazzlings felt awful when they hand Spike over to Tirek after he thank them for coming into his life and they showed their remorse when Spike gets angry at them for their betrayal.

     Starlight Glimmer
  • Adaptational Heroism: In canon, Starlight is introduced as a villain who steal cutie marks from ponies after being separated from Sunburst while attempt Time Travel to stop Twilight and her friends from getting their cutie marks before going through her Heel–Face Turn. In this story, she never Jumped Off The Slippery Slope and have a good relationship with Sunburst, although, her relationship with him is more platonic as she has her eyes on Spike.
  • Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In canon, Starlight is a student of Twilight after she pulled Heel–Face Turn but in Highschool Dragon, she isn’t a student of Twilight and her relationship with her is more of a friendship than teacher-student relationship.
  • Demoted to Extra: Unlike the canon where she was Spotlight-Stealing Squad, she got less importance in Highschool Dragon since she’s appeared very late and didn’t receive her power-up compared to Spike and the girls since her own magic was taken away from Tirek. She doesn’t even appear in the cover of Highschool Dragon: Harem Legion at all.
  • Sixth Ranger: She served this to Spike and his harem and is the only one who lacks Elements of Harmony as she uses her own magic instead.

     Scorpan
  • Ascended Extra: In canon, he’s only appeared in flashbacks and doesn’t physically appear in the show but in Highschool Dragon, he helped the heroes put a stop Tirek from taking all the powers from everyone.
  • Cain and Abel: Scorpan is the Abel to Tirek's Cain.
  • I Have No Son!: Scorpan disowns Tirek after his pathetic attempt to begging him to help him.
  • Last Episode, New Character: Well not quite the last episode but he does appear near the very end when our heroes prepare their final battle with Tirek.

     Ember
  • Big Damn Kiss: She pulls Spike into one in "The Gauntlet of Fire" chapter in front of everyone, including her father and Spike's harem. Twilight was not happy to see this.
  • A Day in the Limelight: "A New World for Ember" focuses primarily on her, with her coming to visit Spike in his world so she can learn more about both the world Tirek is attacking, and her future husband. Spike shows her around town and the two essentially have a date together, culminating in the two of them having sex and falling asleep together.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: She was initially cold toward Spike and girls at first and she was disturbed by Spike's harem idea, but after she won the title of Dragon Lord, she realizes she's in love with Spike since he's different than any male dragons and she wants him to be her husband and she evens join his harem.
  • First Kiss: She admits that the one she gives to Spike is her very first one.
  • Naked First Impression: She is completely naked when Spike and his group first meet her. Though this isn't a complete surprise since most natural born dragons of Equestria don't wear clothes, it certainly got Spike interested in her.
  • Naked People Are Funny: When she comes to visit Spike's world in "A New World for Ember", she is naked upon coming through the portal. Ember is initially unashamed of this, until it is explained to her that public nudity is frowned on in that world, unlike Equestria. Luckily Rarity provides her with some clothes she can wear before she heads out with Spike.
  • Rebellious Princess: She ran the Gauntlet of Fire, despite not being as big or strong as other dragons, against her father's wishes, since she believes intelligence can make up for brute force.
  • Single Woman Seeks Good Man: She initially starts off cold and distant from Spike, but after she spends time with him, she quickly falls in love with him for his kindness toward her and being different from any other male dragon she has ever seen. She declares she wants him as her husband after officially becoming Dragon Lord, saying he is everything she could ever ask for in a husband, and is willing to be part of his harem to be with him.
  • Smooch of Victory: She "rewards" Spike for watching her back during the Gauntlet of Fire by pulling him into a Big Damn Kiss, which he immediately accepts and returns.

     Fleur De Lis
  • Adaptational Badass: In canon she was just a regular citizen of Canterlot, with no outstanding moments or skills. Here, she is a royal guard, trained Bonbon, and managed to defeat Spike in a sparring match.
  • A Day in the Limelight: She is the main focus of "The Rookie Guard and Former Storm Commander" as she learns about the situation between Valiant and Tempest. This is one of the few chapters that doesn't feature Spike.
  • Even the Girls Want Her: She has her own harem similar to Spike, but her harem includes stallions and mares.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Downplayed, but she shows jealousy that Bonbon, who she helped train and came to love, chose to join Spike's harem instead of hers. She does not hold it against Spike too much though, and after venting her frustrations about it to him the two of them flirt together briefly and offer each other the chance to join their respective harems.
  • Polyamory: She has her own harem like Spike does. She agrees to join his harem if he agrees to join hers too, under the condition that they both treat each other as equals with respect and love, not just objects of affection. She also says he'll be able to do whatever he wants to with the mares that are part of her harem.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: Downplayed; she easily defeats Spike in their brief sparring match, trapping him in a headlock between her thighs. However, she realizes too late that Spike can see up her armor from the position she has him trapped in, and angrily throws him away, planting him headfirst in the ground. She later admits she wasn't upset over the actual act, just that he did it in front of her trainees, embarrassing her in front of all of them.
  • Sealed with a Kiss: When she and Spike make their deal to join each other's harems, she decides to "seal the deal" by cupping Spike's cheeks and pulling him into a passionate kiss.
  • Worthy Opponent: She acknowledges Spike as one during their sparing match (and a cute one too).

     Queen Novo
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: in the movie, she was very hostile towards Twilight & the others, and she straight-up banished them after she caught Twilight stealing her pearl but in Harem Legion, she’s introduced as a benevolent queen who holds Twilight along with the others especially Spike in high regard.
  • Arch-Enemy: To Storm King as she and her people have history with him, and she doesn’t like him at all.

Friends and Allies

     Snips and Snails
  • Abhorrent Admirer: Any time Snips and Snails flirt with a girl they end up creeping her out.

Antagonists

The Legion of Doom

     In General
  • Big Bad Ensemble: They are the main villains of the original fic. The main members are Nightmare Moon, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, and Lord Tirek.
  • Expy: Of the Khaos Brigade from High School Dx D with its plethora of villains.
  • Quirky Mini Boss Squad: Their minions are Trixie, Descent, Prince Blueblood, She-Demon, Pyro, Frost, Nightmare Rarity, Rabia, Grogar, Garble, Catrina, Rep, The Dazzlings, Dr. Caballeron, and Ahuizotl.

     Nightmare Moon

     Queen Chrysalis
  • The Corrupter: Brainwashed Sunset Shimmer into becoming the She-Demon with a little help from the element of disharmony.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: After Sunset was purified and freed from Chrysalis' control, she later joins the heroes with an equally purified element of dismarmony, now known as the element of forgiveness, to defeat the Changeling queen. So, thanks to Chrysalis; Sombra, Tirek and later villains has yet another element bearer to deal with.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: Gets herself trapped in crystal and is sent to Tartarus for good measure.

     King Sombra
  • Evil Genius: He was the one who made the element of disharmony, turned Rarity into Nightmare Rarity using Nightmare Moon's essence, and almost made Spike doubt his friends.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: He survives and is redeemed. Though to be fair, the Sombra in this story is more akin to the comic version than the show version.

     Lord Tirek
  • Bond Villain Stupidity: Tirek has finally captured Spike and has him at his mercy. But does he drain Spike's magic and kill him? NOPE, he just gloats at him and leaves him in a cell, which resulted in the girls rescuing Spike and the Dazzlings betraying Tirek.
  • Big Bad: Founder of the Legion of Doom. And the last member Spike and the Girls face.
  • Cain and Abel: Tirek is the Cain to Scorpan's Abel.
  • Death by Adaptation: In the original series, Tirek was turned to stone along with Chrysalis and Cozy Glow. Here however, he isn't as lucky.
  • Evil Overlord: Fancies himself as one.
  • It's All About Me: Tirek doesn't care about anyone, including his own brother as he cares more about himself and taking powers from everyone just to get stronger. Spike and even the Storm King calls him out for this attitude.
  • Reduced to Dust: This is how he dies.

     Rabia

     Grogar

The Storm King's Forces

     In General
  • Adaptational Wimp: With the slight exception of Tempest, The Storm King's army isn't as strong as they were in the movie. When they tried to invade MT. Aris/Seaquestria, the Hippogriffs/Seaponies managed to beat them back. Happens again in Canterlot as well.

     Storm King
  • Adaptational Wimp: In the movie, Storm King succeeded in invading Canterlot but unlike the movie, this version of Storm King was foiled by Spike and the girls and was unable to invade Canterlot.
  • Arch-Enemy: To Queen Novo and the Hippogriffs/Seaponies as he tried to conquer Mt. Aris in the past but she and her people managed to prevent him from doing that, he said he will come back for revenge.
  • Ascended Extra: He was barely in the movie but in Highschool Dragon, he’s the first Arc Villain of Harem Legion.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: Unlike the heads of the Legion of Doom who were Knights Of Cerebus, Storm King is not. He may be dangerous warlord but he’s very childish and tend to make jokes. Even Bahamut doesn’t take him seriously compared to Spike and the girls' previous adversaries and calls him a buffoon.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Sure Stormy, waltz on over to Canterlot and tell the Princesses, the heroes, and the other delegates that your gonna take over Equestria, I'm sure it won't bite you in the ass whatsoever.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: He may be a ruthless tyrant who ruled the south of Equestria with iron fist but even he found Lord Tirek to be annoying with his It's All About Me attitude and is glad when he was informed by Tempest that Tirek was defeated by Spike and his girls.
  • Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": He has no known name beyond "the Storm King", since everyone doesn’t treat "Storm King" as his actual name, they just either refers him as "This Storm King" or "That Storm King" when they are talking about him.
  • Evil Is Hammy: He tends to be highly dramatic and more over-the-top than any of the past villains our heroes face. Bahamut is not amused by him.
  • Expy: He seems to be Highschool Dragon’s answer to classically evil and humorous villains like Hades and Aku as Storm King is a ruthless tyrant who ruled the south of Equestria with iron fist but with comedic tendencies. Even Bahamut pointed out that unlike most of previous villains who are over the top dark and evil, Storm King is more goofy and came off as a buffoon.
  • Last Episode, New Character: Appears at the end of the original fic along with Tempest Shadow.
  • Maniac Monkeys: He’s a giant ape-like creature and one of the characters refers him as "Ape-Man".

     Tempest Shadow
  • Last Episode, New Character: Appears at the end of the original fic along with the Storm King.
  • No-Nonsense Nemesis: Unlike most of the villains, she doesn’t joke around and Spike even said Tempest is real dark and serious compared to other villains.

     Grubber
  • Vile Villain, Laughable Lackey: He’s your typical Disney Villain Sidekick as he serves the dead-serious Tempest Shadow and the threatening-but-not-quite-so-serious Storm King.

     Arismaspi (Present)
  • Avenging the Villain: Wants revenge on the Griffons for what they did to his ancestor.
  • Given Name Reveal: His real name is Arimaldo.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Upon the truth behind King Grover is revealed and Gallus' theory on why he stole Idol of Boreas lead to Arimaldo ultimately choose to not destroying Griffonstone and decides to help Spike, the Elements of Harmony and all Griffons to fix their homes.

The Titans

     In General
  • Canon Immigrant: With the exception of Gweneira, they've existed in the G1 portion of the franchise.
  • Expy: They're basically the villains of the first generation lumped with the Titans from Hercules.

Other Antagonists

     Camille the Lamia
  • Canon Foreigner: This Character wasn't in any MLP franchise.
  • Expy: Of Miia from Daily Life with Monster Girls, Alice from Monster Girl Quest, and Saphentite from Monster Girls Doctor but without any of their good traits.
  • Hate Sink: Despite appearing only in two chapters, she is one of the most despicable villains in the story.
  • Hypocrite: Hates being called a monster despite gleefully killing innocent young men.
  • Karmic Death: Spike killed her with a flame attack after regaining his puberty aura she stole from him.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Even though she only shows up in a couple chapters, her stealing Spike's puberty aura makes the Royal Sisters believe it's high time that he needs a mentor.

     Svengallop
  • Adaptational Villainy: Zigzagged. While he certainly isn't as pleasant here as he was in canon, he didn't attack Spike and the girls until he was mind controlled by Tirek.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: When under Tirek's influence.
  • Off Screen Karma: When Rara was asked of what happened to him, she said that she eventually got sick of his attitude and fired his ass. The last she heard of him, he was working as a janitor at a Starbucks in Jersey

     Arismaspi (past)
  • Adaptational Heroism: It was revealed that Idol of Boreas belonged to him and King Grover did stole it from him. Thus, justifing his "trespassing" of Griffonstone.
  • Post Humous Character: Died centuries ago.

     Jack McCallister
