  • Balloon Belly: Pinkie gets one after eating multiple cupcakes in "Locked in the Sweets Shop."
  • Batman Gambit: The reason that Spike goes out with Trixie at the Valentine's Day Festival was that he knew the Girls would settle their arguments and join forces. Thus, their friendship would be saved.

  • Domestic Abuse: The Flashback in "Sleepover with Rarity" reveals that prior to the events of the story Rarity was in a relationship with Blueblood. He abused her emotionally and physically.
  • Double-Meaning Title: The chapter "Friendship Broken" is this. Given how often the Girls argue over Spike and how harsh the argument is getting in this chapter it seems that they will break off their relationship with each other. However, the chapter title actually refers to Spike breaking his friendship with the Girls when he decides he is to blame for this argument, and therefore must break his friendship with them to save the friendship they have with each other.

  • Harem Genre: Yes.
  • The Heart: Spike is this for the Mane 6. They often end up arguing over who Spike should spend time with. This leaves Spike responsible for defusing the situation to preserve the cast's friendship.

    • Albert "Prince" Blueblood.
    • Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

  • LARP: Spike and his boys take their space explorer genre tabletop game and role-play it in the junkyard with hilarious hijinks.
  • Lover Tug of War: After meeting the Dazzlings, Spike ends up in this between them and the Mane 6.
  • Marry Them All: Yeah, Spike ends up with all of the Mane 6 Girls.
  • Marshmallow Hell: Pinkie does this to Spike before everyone goes to sleep in "Cabin in the Snowy Mountain." And in the next chapter, Rarity is doing this to Spike when everyone wakes up.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: Twilight notes that Spike ends up recovering from his cold pretty quickly after being cared for by the Girls and having a dream about how they first met. • Sexy Discretion Shot: In the second-last chapter Spike has sex with the Girls. And while we are shown them disrobing the actual sex is something we don't see.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Show Within a Show: The Power Princesses comics are a Type 4. The Harem Genre aspect of it fits with Spike's situation. This gets lampshaded at the Comic Con chapter.
  • "Shut Up" Kiss: Spike stops Twilight's rant by kissing her.
  • Snowball Fight: In "Wild and Fun Day and Night," Rainbow starts one with Spike and Applejack. Everyone else ends up joining in.
  • Something Only They Would Say: Spike reveals to the Girls that his Identity Amnesia is cured by asking for "the usual."

    • On an outing to an ice rink Spike ends up skating with Lightning Dust. While the Girls are jealous they choose not to intervene with Twilight claiming that "it's not like they're doing anything dangerous." When Rainbow turns Twilight back towards them Lightning Dust is carrying Spike over her head.
    • In "Beach Day 2," Twilight stops her rant while everyone eats dinner. Fluttershy suggests that this means Twilight will calm down. A few minutes later, Twilight is back on her rant.

  • Valentine's Day Episode: The "Valentine's Day Festival" chapter.
  • When You Coming Home, Dad?: "Night in the Barn" contains a Flashback in which Applejack goes through some Angst regarding this.
  • Wild Teen Party: While Spike's parents are out of town, Rainbow and Pinkie quickly declare a party at his place, inviting the entire student body from their school and Spike's. When things get out of hand it leads to drama between Spike, Rainbow, and Pinkie, who eventually reconcile and clean up the house before his parents returned the next day.
  • World of Buxom: Wildcard25's fanworks often describe the breast sizes of the female cast with letter grading. More often than not, the breasts are on the larger side of the spectrum.
  • You Taste Delicious: This is how Pinkie helps Spike clean his face after the Foodfight!.

The Girls of My Life 2: Old and New Flames

  • Friend to All Children: Sunshine Smiles claims to love children. She expresses interest in running a daycare and claims to have the know-how to handle them.
  • Girl on Girl Is Hot: Given the Hotter and Sexier nature of this story, there are a couple of lesbian moments in sex scenes that Spike gets excited over seeing.
  • Harem Genre: Yes, still.
  • Hidden Buxom: Moondancer has the largest breasts out the group in Ponyville. She is noted to hide this by wearing a sweater.
  • History Repeats: Once again, Spike learns about a previous ladies' man in a position mirroring his own. In this case it was a guy named Kenbrough Heathspike who amassed a massive harem while he was in high school and had a lot of sex with a lot of people either individually or simultaneously.
  • Hotter and Sexier: Unlike the first story, this one ups the Fanservice by including sex scenes.
  • Innocently Insensitive: Spike finds out about Sunburst's death by constantly talking to Starlight about Sunburst without realizing she is bothered until she snaps at him.
  • It's All My Fault: Starlight feels this way about Sunburst's death believing she could have prevented it. Spike and Stellar Flare assure her that she is not to blame.
  • Likes Older Women: Downplayed. Spike isn't attracted to anyone specifically because they are older than him, but he is noted to have had a wet dream about Twilight Velvet. And he has sex with Stellar Flare.
  • Loving Bully: Sunset Shimmer was this to Spike in the past. Since then, she's grown out of it.
  • Mrs. Robinson: Spike ends up discovering this about Stellar Flare. He has sex with her and she joins his harem.
  • My Eyes Are Up Here: Discussed. When Spike is set to meet the girls from Ponyville, Thorax teases him by telling him to "keep [his] eyes above the neckline."
  • Posthumous Character: Sunburst
  • Really Gets Around: The sex scenes have the Ponyville girls claiming to have slept with others in the past. There's also Spike who has sex with the Ponyville girls, his harem from Canterlot, Stellar Flare, and the Supporting Harem from the previous story.
  • Replacement Goldfish: This is what Spike wants to keep the girls in Ponyville and his harem in Canterlot from thinking he's doing with either of them. Hence, why he keeps them secret from each other. Though, he doesn't admit this until after they've found out.
  • Secret-Keeper: Spike does not tell the girls in Ponyville about his harem in Canterlot, nor does he tell his harem in Canterlot about the girls in Ponyville. But Spike does tell Thorax about both groups and his decisions on handling them.
    • After Spike and Starlight have sex with Stellar Spike asks all parties to keep it a secret, thus turning Starlight into the Secret-Keeper. Later on, Starlight tells the combined harem about this. And once again, everyone is cool with it.
  • Sex God: Spike. And Kenbrough Heathspike (see History Repeats).
  • Shower of Love: Spike has one with Sunset Shimmer. He later has a downplayed version before the massive orgy when he showers with Twilight and Fleur De Lis, but they don't have sex until after the shower. He also showered with two more girls after the orgy but the only detail that gets specified is that it wasn't Fleur and Twilight again.
  • Stalker Shrine: Starlight Glimmer has one of Spike.
  • Stargazing Scene: Moondancer invites Spike out for a night of stargazing and they end up having sex.
  • Three-Way Sex: Spike has this a couple of times. Notably between Sunshine Smiles and Moonlight Raven and between Starlight Glimmer and Stellar Flare.
  • Twincest: Sunshine Smiles and Moonlight Raven engage in this with each other. They even do it at Spike's request while having sex with him.
    • Pinkie engages in this with Marble during a webcam chat with Spike.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Spike and Thorax. The two of them are close enough to the point that Spike trusts Thorax as a confidant, yet they still have a tendency to tease one another.
  • World of Buxom: This is still the case.
