I would like to wonder if a trope too, but I wonder if it's too Chairs. In my case, I can cite an example of my head:

  • In Slow Start, Hana is known to be rather bad at sports. This is due to her one-year stint as Rōnin, when she is mainly cooped at home studying, and became out of shape.

Yeah, "out of shape" by itself is a little weak — in Geek Physiques they are out of shape because they're nerdy, in Weight Woe being out of shape might be a motivation, in Formerly Fat or Formerly Fit being out of shape is a backstory element. "Getting in Shape Plot" might work.

maybe i should elaborate, like SamCurt said, just "out of shape" is too chairsy. i mean like out of shape to a comical extent.

here's the video i was talking about earlier. hololive is ostensibly made solely of idols, then you have this livestream come along showing that the red-headed one has terrible endurance to a comical degree.

i guess to throw another example out there, one of the more recent episodes of A Certain Scientific Railgun T has the main character and resident Ojou Sama invade the big bad guy's base. Main character breaks out into a sprint, looks behind her and finds Ojou Sama isn't there, freaks out over the possibility of her betrayal, and while she's doing that, Ojou Sama comes on screen in a limping jog looking like death.

Sucks at Dancing for the original example, but "comically out of shape" of the exhausted-after-one-push-up or coughing and wheezing after sprinting ten meters variety seems tropable, if we don't have it.

it's not that she Sucks at Dancing, she just can't keep up because of a surprising lack of stamina, something the other girl in the video pokes fun at.

if i had more examples i'd try to run it through Trope Launch Pad, but i don't, so...
