Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

i know i'm older than that but i assume everyone else already also knows
Chill out guys. It's Tropers who have had 3 age related posts. Two of them being birthday related ones, and one of them related to one of those birthday posts.
A teenager who lives in front of my house asked me a food-for-thought question, and I thought I'd share it here: "Is it easier or more accurate to define a person by only describing what they most love or by only describing what they most hate?"
Obviously it's best to mention both things when talking about someone, but this is an intentional Sadistic Choice. So while I was editing the wiki and watching some sports commentary shows (specifically those about the World Cup), I was trying to concoct an answer in my mind, but it's probably not something I can decide no matter how hard I try. In your experience, what option would you choose if you had to?
(They boy also told me the type of description applies to everybody)

What did I start lmao
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."Hate is far and away the more useful thing to know about someone. Hate is more powerful than love, scientifically speaking (under most methodologies) too, so it's probably better in that way too.
What, because I took the question seriously and actually thought about it, and gave a reasoned answer and included some of the reasoning in the response?
I fail to see what I've done to warrant hostility by answering a question posed.
(Some further reasoning, if someone wants to kill you, you'll be more likely to know that if you know what they hate. It would be safer to know what people hate, therefore.)

The person the hoarse horse would have to see is covered by both meanings of "vet". A military veteran who became a veterinarian after retiring from the military.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Everytime I see Mighty the Armadillo from Sonic the Hedgehog, i can't help but says "Original character, please don't steal".
Speaking of Beast Folk, check this out. The other three look cool, but Andrew sure took a drive to the Uncanny Valley.

It was the former. Damn you Zuckerberg for ruining a perfectly fine word.

Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."that's what corporations do
Fair. At least it's easier to distinguish a word between its original meaning and its corporation meaning than one that's been fucked over by being turned into NSFW slang. My dirty ass mind will forever think of the NSFWA meaning first.
I cannot look at clams the same way ever again.

This early Christmas gift sucks — Corona-chan, take it back please.
One hundred years in the pizza mines for your insolence.
-hugs- Sorry to hear that. :(
Pizza mine? And I thought a chocolate mine was a cool idea.

the problem with mines for things is that they sound super cool until you realize that someone has to do the mining and it will inevitably slowly kill them
US chocolate companies already use child labor to harvest their cocoa beans (Nestlé's website literally says they use child labor, framed in corporatese), let's not give them chocolate mines to send kids to die in
It's sad that countries like Ivory Coast don't even benefit from the chocolate they produce and send abroad.
