During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Here you discuss any potential redeeming or sympathetic features the character has, the character's Freudian Excuse if they have one, as well as any other potential mitigating factors like Offscreen Villainy or questions of moral agency. Try to present these as objectively as possible by presenting any evidence that may support or refute the mitigating factors.
Do they meet the Heinousness Standard?
Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard
Final Verdict?
Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

Oh oh boy, I've got a really nasty one for you all. Kyrienote from Graven Hunter Files.
Who is Kyrie?
A vicious and legendary child killer. Our hero Sye is feared due to being her ancestor, and at one point suffers a curse set on all her descendants.
What does she do?
In spinoff prequel Offence Report, Kyrie is finally meet in person. In the first chapter, Laures finds a hanging corpse in the orphanage he is staying at. He is blamed for it, due to being her son, and runs away. Kyrie shows up at the orphanage demanding to know where Laures is. When the Mother Superior claims that Laures is dead, Kryie cuts a boy's throat. Kyrie holds a girl hostage and continues to demand where Laures is. She agrees to leave them alone, but then reveals she was lying a kills the girl.
Kyrie then tracks down Laures and tells him to join her, threatening to kill him otherwise. She then reveals herself as his mother. A few years later Laures has grown up under Kyrie's tutelage. At one point they go to a farm, and Laures sees Kyrie with a terrified restrained woman. When Laures tells Kyrie that the woman is not worth killing, but Kyrie tells him that "her husband will have an unhappy life with a wreck by his side". Later Kyrie brags that she caused the woman a miscarriage.
Kyrie then approaches a young girl chasing her cat. She casually reveals her identity, and kills the cat. Laures helps Kyrie restrain the girl, and Kyrie feels under her dress. The story cuts to Kyrie and Laures cleaning blood of there hands in the river. Laures is not happy about this, and pulls a knife out on Kyrie, but she threatens to rape him, bragging that she did so to his father.
The two of them are later perused by demons. Laures is paralyzed by venom, and begs Kyrie for some of her liquor, which she adds antidotes to. She refuses, telling him to act as bait. Luckily Laures stole some of her liquor, and is able to cure himself. The two hide in the vegetation, and the demon follows them. It is at this point where Laures realizes the demon is after Kyrie, and abandons her. The demon proceeds to brutally gut Kyrie to death.
Heinous standard
Her crimes are very unique and she is infamous despite being long dead. There is a reason her story is rated M, while the others are rated T.

- The first King of Eldia and the mythical Devil of All Earth, King Fritz, King Fritz, as shown in Chapter 122 "To You, 2,000 Years Ago", was a cruel tyrant who ran an empire on conquest with countless slaves endlessly abused out of their very sense of self, many having tongues removed. When the young slave Ymir was accused of freeing pigs, the King tried to have her hunted for sport, whereupon she found the power of the Titan. Using her to exterminate and kill all in his path, the King raped her to produce children to inherit her power and upon her death, forced his daughters to eat her corpse raw, unleashing the new Titans on all his enemies to found an empire on genocide and blood.
So for Honkai, just do this, for both AniManga AND Video Games?
- Honkai Impact 3rd: The Great Overseer of Schicksal is the first leader of Schicksal Organization. Initially presented as a benevolent figure helping several European princes create a feudal order and stop the Honkai in order to take back the lost lands that the latter conquered, the Overseer reveals his true power-hungry nature by performing experiments on innocent civilians to turn them into zombies or monsters and kickstarting a war with the Ming Empire. Losing the war, the Overseer extorts the money from poor civilians and allows his priests and aristocrats to abuse the population as they please. Attempting to start a war with the Ming Empire again, the Overseer opens the purple box that contains the Herrscher of Corruption, who started The Black Death.
