During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard

Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

Since were discussing Power Rangers. This is a question I've been wondering about. Is Master Xandred from Power Rangers Samurai actually bad enough or unique enough for the franchise to be a cm? Like think about it, from his entry:
- He has a rivalry with the red ranger and wishes to kill him personally. Thing is so does Adler who is much worse as unlike jayden who posed a danger to xandred, Adler went after him for no reason when he was just a child.
- He yells at his minions and treats them horribly. Only Bansheera, venjix and etc. have done far worse to their underlings.
- He mutates one of his minions to put them under his control. Only the guy was already planning to usurp him anyway and guys like Venjix and adler have also done that.
- Finally they mention he sends Moogers who destroy a bunch of buildings but the entry itself mentions that its Fridge Horror that people actually died.
- Finally he wants to conquer the human world, but Serrator wants to do the same thing and has a plan which would explicitly kill billions of both humans and his own kind.
So is he bad enough as he's the only one on the list Ive been iffy on?

- Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Shattered Grid: Lord Drakkon is a Tommy Oliver's Alternate Self that choose to serve Rita Repulsa instead of joining the rangers. Being her right hand, Tommy aids her to Take Over the World and destroy the Power Rangers, with him personally killing Zordon, Jason and Billy and becoming a White Ranger after stealing their powers. Killing Rita after she taught him magic and calling himself Lord Drakkon, he uses the Power Coins to create the Ranger Sentries and kept control of his world. When Kimberly tries to avenge her loved ones, Drakkon brainwash and use her as his Ranger Slayer. Defeated due to his overconfidance, Drakkon is teleported to the main world and is incarcerated for the Promethea Company. When Saba tries to execute him, Drakkon kills him and uses his remains to create portals to kill the Tommy of the main world before searching Ninjor and tricking him into rebuilding his Morpher to recover part of his powers before imprisioning and brainwashing him. Invading the worlds from multiple series to get their morphers while killing multiples versions of himself before being almost defeated for the efforts of multiple teams and saved for his loyal servant Finster 5, who Drakkon kills after being asked to stop empowering himself for his own safety. Entering in the Morpin Grid to get the Heart of the Master and God-like powers, Drakkon destroy the entire multiverse and create a world where he's loved for everyone for the sake of his ego until the efforts of Tommy and the Ranger Emmisareis stop him.
Don't worry, this is not the ultimate one. I'm just trying to get something readable. How much long would be fine here? Because we're talking with a villain with a massive rapsheet.

Also just got back from the new Goosebumps. Started...decent for a kids movie, but towards the end felt like what you expect from a Sony film.

Now then, I'm looking over my old Clive Barker's Jericho entry and it's... not my best work. Here's a newer one I think flows a bit better and matches Scraggle's more appropriately for length. Vicus is fucking nasty and I feel I undersold him a little:
- Clive Barker's Jericho: The disgusting, bloated Governor Cassus Vicus is an utterly depraved hedonist banished by Caligula himself to the remote Al-Khali for practicing cannibalism. Offered immortality by the Firstborn in a realm away from reality in return for helping him conquer all of God's creation, Vicus happily agreed to indulge himself for thousands of years. Keeping his realm as nauseating as himself, Vicus keeps his immortal citizens in constant torment: decorating his palace with their body parts and skinned corpses and allowing his demonic minions to attack them as they please. Devoted to his own worship above all else, Vicus stands out in the dark setting alongside the aforementioned Lichthammer as one of the Firstborn's most vile lieutenants.
