I mean, there's Power-Strain Blackout and Fainting Seer. A little over half of Of Corpse He's Alive examples (seem to) only involve the person fainting as well.

@996: The page was actually only created in February of 2010, though the Internet Archive has a copy from the preceding September (with nothing but Describe Topic Here) that, coupled with the original content of the page, suggests the phrase may have seen some use on YKTTW before that.

Does V8 Engine Noises feel like chairs to anyone else? It's usually just sound approximating. The description also reads more like a UN page.

On the same note, Bested at Bowling is just I Was Beaten by a Girl + bowling.

I gave up trying to fight this. This is a good trope and I would even say God Loving Gays could be a trope that opposes the premise of this one.

That's The Sounding Board. Though it's less about nominations and more about just making sure an idea seems viable before going to the TLP.

If you're bumping this (for some reason what you linked didn't direct me to the post), I feel it's chairs too. Since the first paragraph says V8 Engine Noises are also Stock Sound Effects, I can imagine at least several examples fitting under the latter.

Doing the Web Original subpage cleanup, and I noticed this trope Bound and Gagged. It is tropeworthy or just a character tied up ?

Being tied up is a narrative element. If it isn't, then we'd remove the entire A Restrained Index.

i feel like bound and gagged is one of the "technically a narrative trope but in practice just leads to horny gushing" tropes in the vein of Ms. Fanservice / Mr. Fanservice, but i think we've established that's a user behavior problem more than a fundamental trope problem

Greed is essentially "Greedy people exist", so I think it would work better as some sort of Greed Index.

I disagree. We also have other sins, like Pride and Lust. They're recurring and often pretty important character flaws, and flaws have a big impact on characters and the narrative.

Yeah, I agree it's tropeworthy, as are the other Deadly Sins-related tropes for that matter.
