Voting for 1.3 then, since it's from a work.

We do need Word of Mod on this one, since it's a pseudo-"No pic ever" case (even though the page isn't tagged as such) due to this page being one of the leading circumstances behind The Second Google Incident.

I'd like to apologize for all this.

I really don't think we should have an image on this page considering the subject matter, so I think it should be added to the list of pages that can't have images.

(The lack of mod mode is intentional. We're currently discussing this internally, so I'm not making a formal statement at the moment.)

Edit: On second thought, I suppose we could go with 1.4, even if it ends up being something to add to This Image Is Not an Example, so I'll vote in favor of that while adding this to the "don't change the pic" list after that. In fact, I think we should add it to the "don't change the pic" list if we go with any image in this thread.

Just throwing a suggestion in that's inherently less lewd due to involving chibis, but with the characters blushing to still indicate the erotic intention of the trope. I can offer alternate crops since it's the last panel from this but the other character's dialogue might throw things off.

1.4 is the only one I would consider due to the implied dirty humor factor; if it does get chosen, it absolutely will go on the “don’t change the pic” list. That said, if the consensus is to put it on the “no pic ever” list, I won’t lose any sleep over it.

I’d mentioned in another thread that there’s an example from the Negima manga where some of the girls encounter such a creature but it just Tickle Tortures them rather than what would be expected. Are there any good pics of that to be found? I’m on mobile so searching would be difficult.

EDIT: Okay, it’s a little naughty (heh) but I like panels 4 and 6 of as a combo. There’s a Bill Hicks line from the Manchild example on his page that doesn’t really relate to the trope but would fit the pic as a caption: “That’s a pretty scary way to celebrate the resurrection of Christ…”. When I get home this evening, if I have time, I’ll try to put all of that together if someone doesn’t beat me to it.

Any image for this trope should be as SFW as possible while still alluding to the erotic elements. The ones on 2 are a little bit too smutty for my tastes. I am fine with as is, but I agree with that if we vote to put it on "no pic ever" I also wouldn't mind.

Either 8.1 or 1.4 would be fine if we go with an image, and as I said, we should add it to the "don't change the pic" list if we choose an image regardless of what we choose (and add it to the "don't change the pic" list if we choose not to have an image).

My preference is 1.3, because it is a SFW equivalent to the Ur-Example. 1.2 looks too combat-focused, 1.1 and 1.4 are too dark / unclear, and for 8.1, the blush stickers just don't do enough for me to make the association (in isolation I interpret it as just being happy in a chibi design).

I'm being fairly picky because while I'm not exactly against the article having an image, it is something that I'd prefer not having to change again later.

I agree with this one and vote for 1.3.

I prefer 8. I think it's illustrative enough, it has a Lampshade Hanging for extra context, and I'd prefer erring on the SFW side as much as possible with a trope like this.

I think 1.3 is fine: it has a suggestive element but it's certainly no more lewd than the image on Succubi and Incubi, which was thread-approved last month.

I prefer 8. The chibis add a cheesiness that makes it more SFW in my opinion.

I like 1.3 and 8. 1.4 doesn't illustrate, and I think it's gross that Black Comedy Rape might be considered "safer" than an extremely tame consensual sex joke.

(It seems to me that 8 should be acceptable to policy if the image on Aren't You Going to Ravish Me? is.)

I don't like 21, it's too texty. If we want to go by that picture, then either the second panel only or the crop of 8 is enough. But if we conclude that 1.3 is SFW enough, I prefer that.
