The Town of Creekmoor.

Located somewhere in the East Coast, this cozy growing town combines the rustic feeling with a mostly welcoming sense of pep and energy that brings all sorts of folks in. With a good number of those folks being distinctly unusual, but welcomed all the same - albeit, with a slight understanding in place.

Creekmoor is divided between Main Town, north of the Cladwell River cutting through town, and Downtown, or as some of the less charitable residents north of the river call it - Darkly Side. Creekmoor wasn't always quite so kindly, and Downtown is a standing remembrance of older times that most would rather not return to.

The good vibes of the main town do not extend to the perpetually Halloween-like Darkwane Street. Nestled along the Cladwell River, Darkwane Street is home to the Richler Mansion, home of the most infamous residents of the town. The wealthy and powerful Richler Family. Viewed by some with reverence, others with fear, the Richlers are scions of a patriarch banished from the town in light of his misdeeds.

But Darkwane Street is still stained by the crimes of Wolfang Richler. The woods echo in the night with howls, the streets seem longer the darker it gets out, people move in, and move out, of the houses on that street. Teenagers dare each other to spend a night on Darkwane Street, a dare few can manage to complete.

It is a dissonance that is startling to observe - even a street out from it, there are no such strange effects. Yet even a look from across the street settles just how different this long road of destitute mansions is from everything else in town.

So then, who ARE you? A newcomer? Someone moved in and drawn by the strange magnetism of the town? Or someone who has come with a mission in mind?


Inspired by the likes of Riverdale, the Fear Street books by R.L. Stine, and the myriad of CW Teen Dramas, this RP will be a place for the most "Riverdale" like stories and storylines. If you want to do something overdramatic, full of melodrama and either subtly or overtly ridiculous...well, this is the place for you.

  • Name: Marah Asadi
  • Age: 17
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: Stands about 5'2". Her black hair falls down to her ankles, and from her shoulders downward her body is lined with elaborate tattoos.
  • Personality: Somewhat vain, though she possesses enough self-awareness to know her own weaknesses, her haughtiness tempered by caution. While she may come across as uncaring of others, she does wish to help people, if only to fix what she sees as flaws in society. She's quite cunning and manipulative, a natural socialite, and enjoys talking philosophy with others.
  • Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities:
    • Occultist: Marah is quite knowledgeable about mystical arts, nonhuman creatures, and various myths from different cultures.
    • Grand Refutation: The markings on her skin are the culmination of her family's research. They ward against hostile magic; spells will not work on her directly without her permission. Only applies to direct effects, so e.g. attempting to set her on fire with a curse wouldn't work, but throwing a fireball at her works fine.
    • Vanity's Empress: Marah's particular form of magic, born of vanity. She can freely manipulate her own hair for use as a weapon or tool. Her hair is unnaturally strong and durable, grows rapidly, and can be made sharp as a blade. She can also launch her hair as a projectile, either using individual strands to make a storm of needles, or launching an entire braid like a crossbow bolt.
  • Backstory:
    • The Children of Ahriman are a secretive group. Ostensibly they are a cult that worships Ahriman - AKA Angra Mainyu - the Zoroastrian incarnation of evil. In actuality, they worship no one. They took the name of an 'evil god' to indicate a challenge to the gods; as Ahriman fought against the creator Ahura Mazda, they fight against the world itself. The true purpose of the Ahriman clan was to capture the gods and dissect them, to understand the nature of the divine and, by extension, reality itself.
    • While some questioned their ethics, it was unquestionable that the Ahriman clan were brilliant in their studies of the occult and mystical. Their understanding of the world is said by some to have surpassed any other. Publicly, they served generally as physicists or philosophers, rarely participating in politics and generally staying hidden from the world. As a result, their membership was small, barely noticeable. Their manor in Creekmoor lay empty for quite awhile, used sparingly by clan members when they needed something from the darker side of town.
    • Fayah Asadi happened to stay in town for a year. Near that year's end, Marah was born into that empty home. Her father was absent, and her mother soon left as well to continue her research elsewhere, visiting only occasionally. Marah was left into the care of a kindly nanny. One day, when Marah was 10, her father visited for her birthday.
    • Marah was bound and brought to the basement. There, her mother and father carved their accomplishment into her skin. They intended to bind within her a Daeva, a creature of uncreation, the same manner of being as Ahriman himself. But the creature was not so easily tricked, and killed her parents for their treachery. Marah was spared, ironically due to the protective markings layered on her body.
    • The police ruled their deaths a suicide pact, driven by madness. Marah was adopted by the nanny who raised her, the nanny who might as well have been her mother anyway. And in the wake of that tragedy, one might expect her to avoid magic - but instead she embraced it, wanting to understand what drove her parents to do what they did. And in so doing, perhaps surpass them...
  • Et Cetera: Is a pretty good seamstress, both with her hands and with her magic hair.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Ambiguously Brown, she normally has black waist-length hair and blue eyes while standing at 5'6 feet tall. In her true form, she has white hair and wings along with pair of demonic horns.

Personality: A confused and insecure girl, she doesn’t want to become a queen and has no interest in the family tradition. Despite her upbringing, she treats social interactions with a surprising amount of levity, although she’s not exactly good at conversation.

Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities: As a succubus, she feeds off of lust as a human emotion. While her kind feeds primarily through sexual acts, they can also "eat" any desire for the immaterial. As a Royal Succubus, Bohemia has access to Demonic Magic, most notably Hellfire, levitating and teleporting objectsnote , and the gale storms of the Lust Ring, among others. She can also fly with her Succubus wings. In spite of her power, she isn’t adjusted to actual combat and would rather avoid fighting as much as possible, her strategy is, at its core, “throw big magic at enemy, then fly away”.

Backstory: Bohemia is the daughter Asmodeus and Lilith, a Royal Succubus and inheritor to the throne of the Lust circle of Hell. Having Parental Neglect the majority of her life thanks to the reckless indulgence of her mother and especially her father, she longed to go to the human world and find the companionship that her parents refused to provide her, and, after years of waiting, she finally escaped. She now walks among us, trying to uphold the Masquerade while also dealing with family drama and her demonic nature.

Et Cetera: At her core, Bohemia just wants a life. She wants to go out and experience the world that her mom and dad refused to show her, and she wants to befriend someone, though she fears that You Can't Fight Fate and that she may one day become the queen of lust whether she likes it or not.

  • Age: 16
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: 6'3" in height. Mixed heritage gives her an exotic appearance, though it's difficult to tell what it constitutes of. Icy blue eyes and a typically stern expression render her fairly intimidating to look upon when compared with her stature, and she carries herself as if she were regality instead of a schoolgoer. To those perceptive of magical energies, Mariana is practically a beacon of concentrated cosmic powers to the point of being unmissable from miles away. Usually dresses in casual but well-fitting clothing, having either nothing at all on her feet or a simple pair of sandals. This is due to the fact that her primary method of getting around is levitation when she's allowed to drop her disguise—only when she's blending in does she actually walk around properly. Due to some inexperience with her age-reversing potions in her youth, Mariana looks at least five years older than she should be—after her first transformation into a hag because of arcane exhaustion, she couldn't quite make an elixir powerful enough to reverse the aging process fully.
  • Personality: Mariana is an aloof, somewhat snooty young woman who seems to have utmost confidence in herself and her own abilities; striding about as if she's the most important person in the room and using her height to impose upon others. She assesses things with a cold but collected attitude, and scoffs at emotional outbursts from others—she herself is crippingly ashamed whenever her confidence breaks, and she feels as if everyone must be as a result. However, Mariana is studious and takes her schooling with the utmost seriousness, and does her best to perform well and get the best grades she possibly can through legitimate means. She's a passionate student of magic yet also the sciences, having a profound fascination with the cosmos and the scale of it compared to humanity. Ultimately, Mariana prides intelligence and confidence over any other trait, and should someone display mastery over their mind and demeanour then she'll typically show interest in getting to know them. Otherwise, Mariana keeps her peers at arms' length, not even wanting to bother entertaining the presence of the glib proletarian sponges who seem to constantly spawn out of god-knows-where. Mariana is also somewhat narcissistic and is shameful of her haglike transformation when her powers are overexerted, and often tries to cover her withered appearance under heavy clothing such as cloaks in order to hide her shame.
  • Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities: Mariana is a witch of an ancient institution; a student of the cosmic arts and a retainer of tremendous ambient magic in and around her person. This latent force manifests as an atmosphere of differing air pressure normally invisible (though still tangible) to those unattuned to such things, but is in fact a multicoloured aura of magical energy that emanates from Mariana's person to those who can see it. Mariana is able to harness this magic in its rawest form using specific hand and bodily movements akin to a graceful dance, but for more complex applications she needs to rely on her spellbooks as well as her channeling lumenstaff in order to mold her arcane powers in the way she wants. Mariana is a learner and as such her abilities are broad, but the more powerful spells tend to have a lot of steps as well as countermeasures necessary to be taken in order to prevent a backfiring effect—for if she conjures recklessly and without taking the proper precautions, she will begin to wither into a haglike form and become physically weakened and crippled. While a hag, Mariana's magical abilities are stunted and she is unable to conjure major spells without risk of perishing, and as such is limited to alchemy and potion brewing until she can reverse it. Mariana's listed spells are as follows:
    • Forbearing Aegis: A passive magical bubble that Mariana keeps around herself for personal safety. This spell is only deactivated when she's knocked out or asleep, and effectively renders her bulletproof as well as immune to any arcane attack on its first hit—though more powerful magical assaults may shatter the barrier immediately after it absorbs the impact. Mariana can mold this barrier in order to rebound attacks back towards her opponents—including projectiles and melee weapons—but the strength of her barrier is directly tied to her confidence. Should her composure begin to fail, or should she become overwhelmed, her panic will actively weaken her barrier and make her more vulnerable to attack. If the barrier shatters, Mariana needs to turn to her spellbook in order to reconjure it effectively. Mariana can also conjure comparatively weaker barriers around her allies in order to protect them from initial hits; to a maximum of three persons at a time (not including herself).
    • Ignoble Simulacrum: Mariana's passive glamour, which helps maintain her appearance as a teenager and hide her misaligned physical age. This spell makes sure she looks suitably average in the eyes of outside observers, and effectively functions as a perception filter so as to make them ignorant towards discovering her true nature. It takes either outside information or a strong will for a person to bypass these effects, or someone else informing them of the effect itself so that they are consciously aware of it. This illusory technique ultimately just makes Mariana seem local to Creekmoor in the eyes of others, though once they become truly aware of her she becomes unmistakeably foreign to the area. Mariana can also cast this effect upon other people or objects if needed, in order to make them more unnoticeable.
    • Recondite Legerdemain: A collection of minor spells of spectacle; prestidigitation and thaumaturgy. Such effects include conjuring intangible will-o-wisps, clapping her hands and separating them to reveal a shower of sparks, generally being annoying during games of poker, and delicate applications of telekinesis such as poking someone in the ribs from afar or making the odour of old socks linger on a person who she doesn't like very much. Mariana is careful with her applications of these sleights, as she doesn't want to make herself seem too suspicious or disruptive—however if someone particularly annoys her in a constant manner, she doesn't find too much harm in making them jump out of their skin with a loud disembodied voice or tangling their shoelaces together while they're running. Mariana's most common use of this spell is to make herself or items in her possession levitate; which is useful in a lazy sense since she doesn't have to put in the effort of walking or picking up her belongings.
    • Alchemical Synthesis: Mariana has knowledge of chemistry and potion-brewing thanks to the interconnected nature of science and magic in her tutoring, and she has a penchant for cooking up both delicious dishes and marvellous elixirs with a variety of effects. Alchemy takes time and effort, however, and due to her focus on other studies while undercover it means that it takes much longer for her to put together her usual concoctions—the potion to reverse her senescence for example used to take her only three days to brew but now takes about a week for her to concoct thanks to her distractions. Compared to her more active magic, Mariana's skills in mixing are more limited, but she at least enjoys cooking things up if only for the joy she gets in experimentation. Mariana's favoured elixirs are her Expeditious Physick for healing maladies, her Blistering Blight to cause an outbreak of itching boils on the drinker (useful for slipping into drinks) and her own Senescent Repudiation in order to undo unnatural aging. She is particularly careful to protect the recipe of the latter, as she's afraid that it may be lusted after by immortality-seekers and other such lunatics.
    • Arcanum Scientia — Pneuma Culverin: Mariana's ultimate technique; a concentration of all the magical energy she can muster from her latent reserves and exuded in the form of a powerful, destructive beam of vaporising plasma. Using this ability requires her to conjure up several countermeasures for her own safety and those around her, including a bolstering effect to her personal shield and a timing mechanism to make sure the beam shuts off at some point. When firing this beam, Mariana's withering accelerates to a potentially fatal degree, and as such she can only safely fire it off for about three to five seconds before passing out from weakness. Mariana is frightened by this spell and as such is reluctant to use it unless absolutely necessary, and her terror in actually firing it off means it is often unwieldy and not guaranteed to hit her target(s). Mariana is incapable of firing off this beam without her lumenstaff at hand, as she'd otherwise surely vaporise herself without a means of channeling the magic through something external.
  • Backstory: Born to the Blakewoods in the mysterious Lunaria Academy in England, Mariana was separated from her twin sibling Asher from a relatively young age after their parents divorced and took custody of each of the kids. With Asher being raised separately from her, Mariana began to prioritise the school and its teachings more than even her own relatives, and became accustomed to the intricacies of both magic and science as she grew older. However, with the recent death of Mariana and Asher's grandmother, a private property has been bequeathed to them in Creekmoor's woods, and as such to honour her memory and reunite with each other they have agreed to live together in the cabin despite some misgivings. Mariana hopes to continue her studies of the cosmos and the paranatural even as she's restricted to keeping up appearances in a mundane town; and suddenly finding herself sharing a home with a long-separated sibling isn't exactly easy for her to handle either. Mariana is rather optimistic, however, and is making accommodations for the changes needed—in truth she needed to be away from Lunaria after years of being isolated there, and coming to a humble American town and reuniting with a loved one is just the kind of break she feels she needed.
  • Etc: Mariana's lumenstaff is usually kept hidden in her bag, disguised among her books with a minor conjuration. Some of said books are in fact spell tomes similarly hidden beneath illusory spells, but just as many are genuine study books on the sciences as well as for Mariana's classes. Mariana also possesses a familiar; a starry-patterened cat who she has named Kosmos (or 'Kos' for short); who is relatively ineffective barring being able to float and disappear at will. The only reason Mariana ever summons her cat is for moral support and companionship while she's studying or working on her magic and alchemy.

  • Age: 16
  • Appearance: Human self, cat self. The Egyptian gown and jewelry were left with the basket she was found in. She didn't know what to do with them for the longest time, but they're easy to move around in and change with her glamour into more modern garments. Stands at 5'1.
  • Gender: Female
  • Personality: Katarina is playful, coy, and just a bit devious. Often relaxed and poised, she delights in teasing others, often playing tricks or games to amuse herself. That's assuming she's in the mood. Said mood can be fickle, with Katarina being incredibly driven or incredibly lazy depending on how she feels that day. However, she can also become arrogant and furious if properly pushed, even going so far as to hiss and growl until she gets her way. No matter what mood she's in, she's incredibly caustic, coming up with creative insults and snark born from her love of pop culture. She isn't sure if it's a defense mechanism or her natural personality, but it's the one part of herself she's not ashamed of.
    • That said, she's also become rather distraught over the whole 'actually a cat' thing. Whenever she thinks about it too much, she becomes sullen and kranky, lashing out at anyone in the vicinity. She's even tried to put on a mask and shave off her own fur, only for it to grow back within minutes. She's desperate for anything that could let her live a normal life, and it's how she wound up in her current predicament in the first.
  • Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities:
  • Backstory: Katarina Cato was just your ordinary teenage girl. Mostly. She still had a few eccenteries. Such as licking herself when she got dirty. Or pouncing on her favorite toys. Or even giving the occasional purr when she was pleased. Okay, maybe she wasn't so ordinary. But she was still able to fit in well enough. She also wore a golden bracelet given to her by her mother when she was little. She wasn't sure why her mother made her wear it, or why she was so insistent she did. Nor did she know how to take it off. Either way, she was stuck with it, and barely give it a moment's thought.
    • At least until her 16th birthday. As she grew, so did her boldness and curiosity. She couldn't help but wonder why her mother kept making her wear it, or why nothing she did could remove it. Plus it was itchy as hell. Finally fed up, she resorted to drastic measures. She whipped out a hacksaw and went to town, cutting away until she finally managed to hack it off.
    • She immediately wished she hadn't. She felt a couple of pointed tufts growing from the top of her head, jutting out where her ears used to be. A strange growth erupted from her rear, elongating until it became a tail. Her fingers became claws, her eyes turned sharp and yellow, fur grew all over her body until there wasn't a bare patch of skin left. So on and so forth until she was fit for the petting zoo.
    • She tried to glue the bracelet back together, tried to get it to work, but to no avail. For all intents and purposes, she was a six foot walking talking kitty cat. She went to her mom for help, but she didn't know what to do. The bracelet was the help. She found her dropped on her doorstep after her own child was stillborn, the bracelet already on her wrist. It came with instructions, telling her not to remove it until the time was right. Whenever that was. Beyond that, she didn't know what else to do.
    • But someone did. It was pure chance, but during an incident at school, Mariana and Kat discovered each other's true nature. After a brief discussion, they made a deal. Mariana would cast a glamour on Kat, giving her back her old appearance and allowing her to live a normal life. In exchange, Kat would become her servant and secondary familiar. The glamour wouldn't turn her back into a human, only give her the appearance of one, so becoming a witch's familiar made logical sense. It was only after they sealed the deal that Katarina had second thoughts, but it was too late to back out now.
  • Etc: As part of her arrangement with Mariana, Katarina wears a small bell-collar around her neck. It's the source of the glamour, giving her control over her appearance, but connects her to Mariana. She can control the glamour and any additional abilities she's given to her, and can switch out Kat's different forms whenever she wants. She can ring the bell with a thought, calling her to her, and it's impossible to take it off. It even acts as a homing beacon, letting Mariana locate Kat whenever she needs her. Mariana can't control Kat directly, but the bell and everything with it serves the same purpose.
    • Katarina is the daughter of Bast, Goddess of cats. The circumstances of her birth are a mystery, but her mother's identity is the one thing she's been able to learn. She hopes she can learn more with Mariana's help, another reason she agreed to the deal, but the answers may be more than she bargained for.

  • Appearance: Human Form "5,4" Werewolf Form "6,3"

  • Personality: Nia is what many like to call a wild child, she is adventurous, with an open-minded optimism active person, even with all of that, Nia is a careful person from what her mother has told her because of her wolf parts, asking what is in what or how does one thing work. When going into her werewolf form she still has her consciousness, her personality changes with pride and a short temper, going more to her animal-like ways.

  • Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities:

Wolf Girl: from being born from a human and a werewolf, she has the proportionates of a wolf, having bits of fur on her body with a long of hair along with long and sharp nails, her nose and ears have the works of a wolf able to hear and smell far away, which also means that some human foods are but poison to her.

Moonless Werewolf: unlike other werewolves that need a full moon to transform into a werewolf, because of Nia's mother being a werewolf and the training she got, she can freely transform into a werewolf whenever without needing the full moon, but it will be painful for her to transform into one, being a werewolf makes her faster, and stronger and bettering her wolf-like proportionates.

  • Backstory: Before Nia was born, it started in another town, a town that looked to be, being terrorized by what looked to be a werewolf, so the town wanted to see who the werewolf was, they got an investigator by the name of Oliver Samson, and in the past days, Oliver was investigating this werewolf going into each house and questioning each of the house owners until one house, an old small looking one, wherein it was a woman by the name of Anna Sage.

Oliver came into the house of Sage and begins to question her about the werewolf attacks, where Sage gives him a weird answer, which wanted Oliver to question her even more but liked the companionship with this woman, so asking to stay, Sage said yes having Oliver stay with her in the house, which had the werewolf attacks stop, until one day, sleeping on the bed, Oliver heard a sound, the sound of a wolf, he walked in seeing Nia turning into a werewolf, having him lock the home to keep the werewolf Nia in as Oliver keeps getting attacked and clawed until it was day, Oliver bleeding and losing his left hand, and Sage waking up to this.

After Oliver talked to Sage about it, she sadly told Oliver that she knew, trying to control it but now seeing a person that she got close now hurt by this, she wanted it to end, so Oliver gave an idea, for the two of them to move away and fix this away from the others, and so Oliver and Sage leaving the house away from the town away from everyone to the forest.

Years passed, Sage and Oliver finally after years of training her mind and using powders, spices, and herbs, are now able to control her werewolf, so with their work down and with only the two of them to talk to each other, later marrying each other moving to Creekmoor, where Nia was born wherein Nia's life she was trained with the help of her mother and father on how to use her werewolf powers.

  • Appearance: 6'1, Pale complexion, long black hair that ombres to grayish-purple at the tips, dark circles seemingly always under their eyes. Ze dresses goth like zir sister, but in stark contrast to her aristocratic fashion style, Asher's usual everyday outfits are more akin to Allison from The Breakfast Clubnote , giving zir the appearance of having just rolled out of bed.

    • Born to the Blakewood family in England along with zir fraternal twin sister Mariana, Asher had always been an odd child, but not in the ways expected of zir. You see, while Mariana had displayed magical prowess from a young age like the other members of their family, Asher seemed to lack any powers at all. This meant that Mariana would end up being favored by their mother, leading to confrontations between her and their father that ended with a messy divorce when the twins were six years old. The twins would end up separated and placed in the custody of each of their parents: Mariana with their mother, Asher with their father.
    • Ten years later, the twins both received the news that their grandmother had passed away, leaving behind her cabin in the woods of Creekmoor, which the two of them used to visit as kids, for them to live in together. Asher is eager to reconnect with zir sister so that they can go back to how close they were as kids, but it just might be an uphill battle.

  • Appearance: A short, dark-skinned girl with short and curly hair and eyes near-black with a glimmer of something more, Sapphy dresses in a way that immediately seems casual but underpinning her choice of clothing is an intentional throwback to film noir sensibilities.
  • Personality: Sapphy is a smart girl, smart enough to have developed a deeply critical eye towards the roots of her persona and found the anchors of her self identity wanting and based on fiction filled with horrific and all too human biases. A lot of what she relied on as easy personality traits are now stuff she is starting to regret, especially when it comes to her self-identification as an Eldritch Investigator and the inevitable feeling of the fall that comes from it. She's far from home, lacking any of her previous support network and chasing a futile goal of taking down Wolfang Richler.
  • Powers: Stolen Words: Sapphos knows a number of words in what she at one point believed to be the Elder Tongue (but on further research is simply Icelandic, chosen by some author because it sounded ancient enough). Whispering these words into the world, the world responds in kind, influenced by her own perception of those elements. She carries these words and her own connotations of them etched into her notebook, though the ones she begins with are those she has practiced enough to not require such reference materials.
    • Ís (Ice): Sapphy whispers ice into the world, forming a spiked thrown projectile formed of the harsh pain of ice she has known in the past.
    • Steinn (Stone): Sapphy whispers stone into the world, turning the terrain around her into a difficult field of loose rock and kicked-up dust clouds.
    • Skuggi (Shadow): Sapphy whispers shadows into the world, pulling herself silently through a contiguous section of shadow as though it were water.
    • Sjó (Sea): Sapphy whispers to the ocean, though so far it has never replied in kind. She fears what might happen when it does.
  • Backstory: Sapphos is not from around here, she's from the west coast. She moved out here alone (or more precisely, ran away from home and has nowhere in town to live) from Chicago chasing a man called Wolfang. There was no reason for her to do so; no grand vendetta of revenge driving her here. She merely decided in the depths of a delusion that she was a cunning paranormal investigator that Wolfang was powerful and mysterious enough to be her pursuit to investigate and she's abandoned her former life in that pursuit. Along the way though, her delusion weakened and she had the time in long bus trips to think through things, she knows how futile her search is and how it is likely to kill her but she's gone too far from home and can't turn back; if she gives up now then that's the last piece of her identity torn away...
  • Et Cetera: Sapphy's sole possessions include an old camera she has carved the branching tree Elder Sign into numerous times, a well-filled notebook and a NERF blaster with three darts left. The only person she informed of her decision before leaving was her older brother Angus, who she left a written letter filled with her decision-making based on all the film noir and eldritch horror that informed her personality before she left.

It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.

    • Ryker is very inept in most everything social, and though he possesses emotions he finds immense difficulty in correctly exhibiting them. He might mistake a fluttering heart for fear and run away, or be unable to suppress his rage and stop himself from clawing out someone's eyes.
  • Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities: Everything
    • Living Weapon: Under his fingers are retractable claws, there are retractable blades on this heels, elbows and along his shins and forearms, his wrists can be tilted to reveal a pair of 12 mm cannons in his arms. There is an extremely thin, expertly crafted blade hidden in his left side. Carved into his back are a pair of wings, webbed with thin film. His teeth are sharpened to a razor’s edge, and in his eye sockets are projectors that can singe the mark of the Illuminati into another’s eyeballs. Near his chest is a combat motor capable of increasing his movement and reaction speed 5x, though it requires startup and can be damaged.
    • Voidheart: At his core, Ryker holds a beating, writhing, thinking being. It’s tendrils hold his limbs together, and it serves to keep him alive as long as it can. At any moment the Illuminati can neuter the Voidheart a second time, which would reduce Ry’s lifespan to, at most, one year. When in dire straits, the Voidheart can create gravity wells strong enough to pull up to 300 lbs. into a centralized location.
  • Backstory:
    • Upon the fringes of matter, born by the shockwave of a Big Bang was something made of absence, a miracle not of life but instead of nothing. In a perceived pocket of lacking, there indeed was thought, and that thought was a Voidheart. Barely larger than the mass of one human heart, this simultaneously sentient and mindless, existent and nonexistent mind and soul, or perhaps mind alone, that drifted both with and without aim decided to live among the light. With capabilities past what is possible, the Voidheart built itself a prison and called it flesh. Then, it traveled a blue and green ball of certainty as a Savior, Saint, Conqueror, Commoner and King, but it was not to be. Quicker even than it birthed, the Voidheart was trampled upon by existence, and flesh ripped flesh to dust. A new prison was constructed, called wooden and named Ryker, and there rests the neutered heart of void to this very day.

    • But what so monstrously twisted root and twine into bars? What so deviously tore the dark from the skin to make a husk of war lacking a will of it’s own? They very same who once was called the Free-Masons, and then The Illuminati, and then nothing lest you soon lose your tongue, your breath, your teeth, and that is seen only in the dark corners where few look and where none from which return, staying as fathers of the New World Order or instead becoming an instance of an oft-repeated cycle. Learn and die. Silent and Sharp as the silvery shadows, slipping straight sun-deprived swords into naysayers’ stomachs. Loyal to none and and all-knowing, none escape the eyes of They. God? King? Man. Only man. Godlike man with powers of a King.

    • Why, o why throw a weapon of such potency as Ryker Alphonse Catraz into a town of such little renown but for tools that a ruler could use? The Richlers are skilled and fat with riches, and They need ones such as they to enforce what is soon to be. What now is the future shall soon be the past, and the present shall cease to exist. Will the Richlers be with it or with They? And will they mark themselves as Gods, Kings or merely men?

Appearance: Yellowish waxy skin with black stripes on his back. Has almost no hair and uses a balaklava to hide it, asking him about why he uses it all the time will result on him saying it was an accident involving fire and that sunlight hurts him.

He always wears way too much clothes even in the hotter of summer days heat barely bothers him, always wearing his gray parka, black gloves, jeans and boots. He looks like he is ready to go skiing.

Personality:A tranquil guy aware of the strangeness of Creekmoor and learned to just deal with it. He generally looks bored out of his mind in classes but in sports like American football he becomes excited and a energetic team player and he isn't half bad either its like he is another person. He has the weird habit of eating flowers for no reason and has been doing bee puns ever since the "accident".

His interest for the paranormal and mythological beings is relatively new and it sparked out of necessity evolving into a genuine interest he considers reading about them a hobby. Another one of his activities is his bug collection ofthen going into the forest for new bugs.

Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities:

His unusual nature is that, without his apparell he looks like a weird bee mixed with human and wax, he even has antennae and segmented parts like most arthropods. He also has bees in his lungs and now breathes trougth his "exoskeleton"

  • Bee ready for trouble: He can shoot the bees from his airways, generally the mouth, in stressful scenarios such as when caught in a fight the bees multiply faster allowing more to be expelled. The bees obey his commands to the best of their abeelities and once their commands are over they go back to Thomas' lungs, if they are too much they become soil. When getting stung by a bee the zone of the sting becomes red and swells just like a normal bee sting however since these are not normal bees the effects are way more painful, not to mention that the zone where it stung becomes hot and veiny and eventually pops leaving a hole where the swelling used to be it, and thats just one bee. They are dazed to smoke.

  • Wax on Wax off: From his exoskeleton Thomas is able to generate beeswax this beeswax can act like regular wax or bee incredibly hard, it can be shaped into multiple forms such as a knife or string, the more complex and big the object is the longer it will take to create, somehow objects such as cameras work but using them for too long will cause them to melt, or he can choose to melt them early, The wax can have different colours and textures.

  • Honey i'm home: The honey produced in his lungs has healing properties from closing wounds to recovering limbs and cure certain diseases but only if it has been exposed to the atmosphere for 30 minutes,the quantity for a proper healing varies and if consumed before 30 minutes it has a potent hallucinogenic effect generally regarding to a person past. Constant use of honey in both its forms while having a colony of magic bees in your lungs transforms you into a hive/ bee hybrid.

  • Chitin son: His exoskeleton normally has the texture of skin, however it hardens in response to physical trauma, he can harden it willingly and its more potent that way but it makes him unable to move or concentrate in anything else at all.

Backstory:

Ever since that fateful day Thomas lost his memory and identity of who he was, the only thing that he had as a clue was a sketchy book about supernatural creatures which he readed, maybe it had a clue or a way to get his memories of himself back.

Eventually he found info about a type of magical bee which is said that their honey was able to make people remember at the cost of having to be made from a living breathing being, like a parasite, there wasn't much info apart of that as having the bee assimilated into the body had a 99% of failure with the risk of death.

At first he wasn't sure, he din't want to die but at the same time why would he has this book in the first place? it wasn't registered in the school library. Was he someone important? Someone destined to do great with the strange place of Creekmoor? Filled with a sense of fake duty he started the search for those bees.

Eventually finding them deep into the woods om certain coordinates at a certain time in a full eclipse, the bees made themselves known buzzing around Thomas almost like if they were scanning him, he had brought a smoker with him to put the bees to sleep but it wasn't necessary before even he had the time to use it a single larger bee carried what it seemed to be a white jelly bean. It was an egg.

Picking the small egg staring at it for a while until the eclipse ended and with it the bees disappeared without trace, according to the book there was no recorded evidence of the egg being just passed to him like that, he had to smoke the bees and break the hive to find the queens egg, he could only draw the conclusion that it was destiny itself telling him to get back his memories and help the town, so he just swallowed the egg.

Upon being consumed the egg hatched and the larvae digged its way through the esophagus and reached the lung where it located itself neatly and started to change Thomas biology to become a suitable hive, it was like having heartburn.

Eventually he started to cough an amber fluid, it was honey immediately he started eating it constantly and so the hallucination took in, and Thomas saw fidgets of his life flash in, day by day he consumed the honey and got closer and closer to figuring out who he was.

When he found out who he was after days of ingesting the honey he was disappointed he was just a simple student with average grades and no friends, his amnesia was produced by a baseball ball crashing in his head after buying the book from a shady figure, he dint know what to do now, the rampant use of honey caused his hive like body to mutate on to what he looks right now and has to conceal his aspect with clothing and accessories.

His parents, neglectful as ever dint pay too much mind to what their son was doing or what's happening, they were always working or disinterested almost like of they dint want a child after they had 2 others in college.

Coming back to his "normal" life he decided that if he couldn't change his boring past maybe he should do something about his future deciding to investigate more in the phenomena of Creekmoor and become part of the football team.

Et Cetera:In his backpack he carries some jars of healing honey for a snack or wounds he has to keep the fact he is a monster a secret from hospitals.

Has a second thinner baklava under the first im case someone is an asshole.

Appearance: A Dullahan girl who has a small head covering over where her head should be. Something that gives the illusion of a human head. And one she's not willing to take off without letting people know as she wants to conceal it to try and pass as normal as possible. She claims that she has something wrong with her and she doesn't want people to know what it is. Because without it, there is smoke coming from the neck. She wears a short-sleeved green floral mini dress with blue and gold flowers and wears black sandals. She is of a tall, slim and slender build. Her missing head has long brown hair and blue eyes.

Personality: Layla is a shy and timid girl, mainly stemming from the times when she tried to socialize, most people are put off by the Dullahan. In spite of all this, she is a kind-hearted individual. But not one you'd want to make mad as she can hurt you if one gets on her bad side. But beyond that, she's quite the nice girl.

Unusual Nature / Powers / Capabilities: She is a Dullahan, one who is missing her head and has a white sphere in place. But despite it missing, she relies on the smoke to use her five senses, all of them heightened beyond normal human senses. She can hear, taste, see, feel and smell even better than a normal human. And she uses her senses around her to gauge her surroundings well. So walking up behind her and surprising her would be much more harder than you think. And she can also manage to talk like normal. And for consumption, since she doesn't have a head to chew with, the smoke dissolves the food and drink where it can easily be swallowed. On top of this, she has superb athleticism, being able to run, jump and stretch as if she were an Olympic gymnast. And while not the strongest person there is, she has reasonable strength. And with her superb athleticism, she has quick reflexes. Something that aids her well should she ever get into a fight.

Backstory: Layla comes from a family of Dullahans. All coming from an Irish family that immigrated to the country 300 years ago. And even back in those days, the family was treated as something as outcasts. Nevertheless, they managed to do all right for themselves, even becoming one of the more middle-class families. Then fast forward to more recent times. Back when she was 12, her family's possessions and a lot of their money ended up being stolen by burglars. Lots of valuables were taken from them, and for some reason, they managed to take Layla's head. Since then, the family have gone on the search to find the burglars and take them to justice, and also to find her missing head again, with no luck whatsoever. The family arrived to Creekmoor, with a possible lead that her missing head might be in the town. Hopefully, Layla can end her five-year search and find her head, so she can be whole again.

Et Cetera: She carries around a brown leather purse, one that's big enough to carry some of her personal belongings, including a laptop. And another bag that's inside should she ever come to recover her head. So she can put away the cover and wear the head as she pleases. In spite of how some people find her off-putting, if she meets the right people who want to treat her as a friend, she'll happily accept friendships and has optimistic views on them if they go right. And if she trusts them enough, she'll show them the truth of who she really is.

Instead of the sphere, I replaced it with a head covering; something she wears to give the illusion that she's just a normal human, but has to wear because she has something she doesn't want to reveal to people unless she trusts them enough. Otherwise, she'll blend right in, with no one the wiser
