The Trailing punctuation in trope custom titles thread, as well as many, many discussions over the past ten and a half years, have made it obvious that we need a centralized discussion thread for page titles. I intend for this thread to be a place to both discuss titles and request they be changed.
(If you're looking to capitalize an existing wikiword, there's a different thread for that.)
We have a specific policy which says don't do that (which postdates the introduction of that custom title). Could we use the year instead?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I suppose it can be moved to Anime.Negima Magister Negi Magi 2006 and titled as Negima!? Magister Negi Magi.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupBest of a bad bunch of options.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I can't decide whether or not Omega Mart really needs its custom title; even if it matches the logo, official websites just call it "Omega Mart" in the descriptions.
The custom title for "it's a small world" has picked up a pair of quotation marks. Does anyone know if Disney officially stylizes the ride's name with them?
I don't actually have any Bumblebee icons, I just think the nickname is funny.Once More, with Clarity has a trailing exclamation mark.
Submitted fix requests for both Omega and Clarity.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. And now someone needs to go through ARG.Omega Mart and its subpages, and change all of the Omega symbols back into O's...

Done.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Fangirl was titled as "Fan Girl" since at least November 2022. Submitted "Fangirl" per the wikiword and to be consistent with Fanboy.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupRussell T Davies had the full stop added back again. Submitting a revert request.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Apologies for how long it took me to address this, but I've ended up moving Films to Cinéma to avoid the established collision with the existing custom title. It's not an ideal solution, but I suppose with the way the site currently works, it's probably the best one for now.

~The Super Blackwing 1 - the following custom title requests have been rejected, as they would be changing the title of the page.
- Big City Greens S 1 E 21 to Big City Greens S1E21 "Uncaged!"
- Big City Greens S 1 E 29 to Big City Greens S1E29 "Skunked"/"Axin Saxon"
- Big City Greens S 1 E 4 to Big City Greens S1E6 "Cricketsitter"/ "Backflip Bill"
- Big City Greens S 1 E 3 to Big City Greens S1E3 "Swimming Fool"/"Tilly's Goat"
- Big City Greens S 2 E 21 to Big City Greens S2E21 "Chipocalypse Now"
As How to Make a Custom Title says:
The Doom series has inconsistency issue. Doom, Doom II, Doom 64, Doom³ are normal, but Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal have their title capitalized.
Most pages including 2016 and Eternal mostly writes them without capitalization so it seems like a right choice to do that on Doom 2016 and Eternal as well. Any thoughts?
Yes, either all or none should be allcapped.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI don't think all caps is the answer here.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I checked Franchise.Doom and most other media, including this page itself, have them without all caps, so that seems like an appropriate option. I'll send the new wikiwords after cleaning them up.
~worldwidewoomy, your custom title request turning Premium Blend to Blend S: Premium Blend renames the article. Please move it to Blend S Premium Blend.
Blood & Chocolate currently has an ampersand in its custom title. However, as far as I can tell the title of the novel always uses the word "and" (including on the page image); none of the book's covers use Blood & Chocolate and it's not written this way anywhere else on the internet (such as publisher websites, Goodreads, Amazon, Wikipedia and so forth). It's only the movie adaptation that uses an ampersand in its title (the custom title is correct on that page). Therefore, wouldn't Blood and Chocolate be a more accurate title? I'm unsure if it would be proper etiquette to just a request a change using the page's Wiki Word without explaining my reasoning or getting other opinions first.
It's a custom title collision with the Elvis Costello album.
Given that the book's film adaptation is disambiguated by year, doing the same for the book itself makes sense.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.^ I concur, it would be better if the book and album had their own separate namespaces, given they're unrelated. I'll look into separating them.
Custom title request Paradox Live AKYR -> Paradox Live Akanyatsura is declined. The Wiki Word tool is not for renaming pages ~somimi
It can't be at Anime.Negima Magister Negi Magi (first and second continuity have same title and different punctuation) so I guess that's a workaround.
