Moved more films from Queer Media to Queer Romance or the representation draft. Films removed rather than moved:
- The Roommate: the trope page makes it seem like whether Rebecca is gay or not isn't clear, and the only explicitly queer character has a very minor role
- The Runaways: there is lesbian subtext between the two leads, but nothing comes of it
- Salome (1923): the film has no queer characters and has nothing to do with being queer, apart from the lead actress being bi
- Sam: film is about a man who is magically transformed into a woman, and then falls in love with a man, choosing to remain a woman at the end of the film in order to be with him.
- Silk Wood: the only queer character (Dolly) has a pretty minor role
- Single White Female: there's subtext that Hedy might have a crush on Allie, but that's it
Films removed rather than moved:
- Three to Tango: film is about a straight man being Mistaken for Gay, with wacky hijinks ensuing
- V for Vendetta: the only two queer characters have minor roles (and one is a Posthumous Character)
And with that, the live-action films folder is done.
Beginning to work through the literature folder!
Does Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe fit better on Queer Media, Queer Romance, or the representation index?
I've read it; it's a love story between the titular characters as much as it is a coming-of-age.
Alright; I'll put it on Queer Romance then.
I'm continuing to sort through the Queer Media sandbox and move works to Queer Media or the TLP draft.
Deviant is listed, but I'm not familiar with the work and there's nothing on the page that indicates any of the main characters are queer.
Removed Go Tell It on the Mountain without moving it, as the only queer character in it is Ambiguously Gay.

The literature section is done. Live-Action TV is next.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢
~Eyke it sounds like The Nullweaver Cycle is primarily a fantasy story about saving the world which has queer themes, and belongs instead on LGBT Representation in Media Index.
Clocking since this thread has been inactive for almost a month, and because it seems like the only issues are with the pages and not the wicks or other off-page stuff. Can anything here be moved to Short-Term Projects?
Either way, the TLP drafts don't require this thread to be open to launch (if they get launched at all depending on the bomb/hat ratios).

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Paging ~Orbiting since they've done most of the moving - I think the rest of Queer Media's cleanup could be moved to a short term thread?
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Yeah, we probably could move the rest of the work to a projects thread now that the crowner has decided the scope of the page.
If somebody could make the thread and post a link to it in this thread, I or another mod could close this thread.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. All right, locking.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.
Crown Description:
What should be done with Queer Media?
Alright, I've added The Witch Boy and removed Love, Simon.
I asked on the Representation draft, but it'd probably be better to ask this here: what is the relationship going to be between the LGBT Representation Index and Queer Media/Queer Romance? I was assuming that it would be a super-index, since pretty much all Queer Media and Queer Romance are going to have major LGBT characters.
