I'm fine with putting the previous image on the proposed Disco Sucks trope's page and leaving Condemned by History without an image for now (but I'm not voting BUPKIS since I haven't seen any arguments in favor of it), because I can't think of how to illustrate the latter.

This advertisement I think is from Bioshock (it’s tagged in a lot of places as real but there’s video game shots of it). [1]

There’s a similar scene in the movie Hairspray with two expectant moms smoking and drinking as a sort of establishing shot of 70’s values, but I couldn’t find a good video of it to grab a still from.

What petersohn said. This trope isn't about stuff that used to be acceptable but isn't anymore, it's about a work or genre which used to be popular and liked by many, but later became unpopular and disliked by many.

Granted, Values Dissonance is often the reason this trope happens, but not always, and Values Dissonance in itself does not automatically cause this trope.

Maybe something demonstrating a fad falling out of favor?
Hmm.... are minstrel shows obviously politically incorrect enough by themselves? Or does that still need something to show how no one does them anymore?

That they were politically controversial is news to me, but a shot of people running away from or ignoring a minstrel band might work.
