And like I said, you're still free to attempt a TLP draft. If you think the idea really is distinct enough and workable enough to try, then by all means, try. Maybe the downvotes are wrong, but that's something to discover in a TLP effort, not here.
And yeah, it is possible people are confusing the intent of the crowner, like I was worried they would.

I wouldn't really say they encompass the same thing The Scrappy is an audience reaction, and Hate Sink are about characters intended to be hated by the author, while the trope idea is about characters that are hated by everyone In-Universe Hate Sinks on rare occasions can actually be loved by almost everyone if they are really deceitful.
In that case I will start working on a TLP draft.

The bigger problem I see is if the idea of "A character hated by all" is not tropable what are we going to do with all the good examples that don't happen to fit under the tropes we are making.

Okay at this point I am pretty certain that people are misunderstanding the point of the crowner. Whatever I guess the idea is outside of the scope of this anyway I will just create the TLP draft myself.

Okay that is perhaps true, but that isn't what the crowner is about it is solely to determine which concepts are tropable.
Anyway, I don't object to you bringing crowner item 3 to TLP.
Yea the crowner is really to decide what to do with *this* trope.
I'm not sure if this was already mentioned, but if the definition is changed, would that have any impact on Hundred Percent Adoration Rating, which is the opposite of this trope, or would that require a separate thread?

Those are about whether the audience hates the character (unintended Audience Reactions with the former, and Intended Audience Reactions with the latter). The proposed "hated by everyone" trope is about whether the character is hated by other characters in-universe.

Slightly irrelevant, but this crowner just phrased the same sort of question (expand and/or rename) much better than we did here.
I want to wait to make sure the crowner is stable, but we should be checking if the current name should go to one of the tropeworthy concepts or to a disambiguation (rename does not really apply because of misuse apply to more than one article). Arguably it could be single "vote up to apply it to #2, vote down to make disambiguation", but then we'd expect either 2:1 or 1:2 instead of best result.

Zero Percent Approval Rating is currently limited to national leaders being disliked. It has suffered misuse for more than just national-level leadership. Names will be decided with a different crowner; this is to identify which concepts are tropeable. If more than one achieves consensus, a new trope will be created.
Why does the idea "A trope for characters being hated by everyone" keep getting downvoted do people not think it's a tropeable concept because most people on the thread thought it was? If people feel it's not I would like to know why something is not feeling right about this.
