This is a thread for keeping track of and updating the names and pronouns of creators who declare a different name and/or gender identity from the one they had previously been known by...and updating should mean "everywhere on the wiki", if possible. It's a daunting task, and that's why, when I brought up the recent case of Philosophy Tube, ~mightymewtron suggested making a project thread to keep track of and recruit help for these updates.
Right now, figures who've been mentioned as needing attention are:
- Philosophy Tube
- Elliot Page (looks like he needs a new photo)
- Digi Nee
- Jimquisition
It was also recommended to create a sandbox for changes, though I'll humbly request assistance on that part. I've never been involved in a forum project before.

To make a sandbox, make a red link to whatever you intend to name your sandbox under the Sandbox/ namespace. Click on the page, then click on the edit button on the top to start making one.
Possible Sandbox link —> Creator Name Or Identity Changes Cleanup. I will start one after I post this comment.
Feedback would be appreciated as to how I am organizing this. I'm not entirely sure myself how.

It might be a bit too old news for this thread, but it doesn't seem to be common knowledge yet: Eddie Izzard is genderfluid, preferring she/her pronouns. I'm only really brining this up here because someone just swapped out all the feminine pronouns with masculine ones on her page. There might still be pronouns to change elsewhere.
(Before anyone asks, no, I can't change them myself just yet (currently on mobile and can't really mass-replace stuff).)

I think so, yes, custom titled to remove the hyphen.
I recently changed all of the James Roday wicks to James Roday Rodriguez. What do we do with the former now that it has been stripped to the bone? Do we keep or cut it?

Keep the redirect. It'll help people searching for the old name, or who linked to the page under the old name.
Apparently Marianne Miller needs to be moved to Marin Miller (or maybe Marin M Miller)
Jonathan Ke Quan > Ke Huy Quan? I made the latter redirect after Everything Everywhere All at Once since he's credited that way for that film, and he's expressed interest in going by it instead of "Jonathan". Wikipedia has also done the move.
It was a big deal for me to go back to using my birth name, Ke Huy Quan. That was the name I was credited with on Indiana Jones. But by the time I got to my late teens, I was working on a sitcom and the warmup comedian would butcher my name every week. It was seen as difficult to pronounce, so I was encouraged to go with an American name. I was Jonathan for many years, but it never felt like that was me.

If he's going by that name moving forward, it makes sense to move the page to that name. Keep the previous credit as a redirect.

What should be done with Dethroning Moment of Suck entries that now use outdated terminology? I found a Web Original entry that refers to Beatrice the Golden Witch with he/him pronouns and her former channel names Digibro and Digibrony.

Just a heads up that Demi Lovato now uses both she/her and they/them. Keep this in mind if you see someone changing one to the other — both are correct and we should probably take the "first come first serve" approach.
Circling back to the Ke Huy Quan move above to make sure there aren't objections.
