Complaining: Snark Bait

That works for some of the wicks, but not all of them.

IDK, I'm going through them now so whatever I leave behind should be double checked.

Main/ is done, at least for me; like I said, the pages I left behind will need some other eyes looking over them. Anyway, onto some other sections.

Edit: Down to 107 wicks after I removed some of the blatant "needs to go" wicks.

Should I Cutlist Snark Bait once the dewicking ends?

No. We’re keeping the trope; just making it Flame Bait.

For the sake of definition and inbounds, and it can still be mentioned on other Flame Bait pages or in in-universe contexts.

I can't remember what all the examples were on that page...

In addition to what was said here, I think a mod once said that it was OK to link to Internet Backdraft on So Bad, It's Horrible after the former was made Flame Bait last year; in that case, it would be safe to assume that Snark Bait is in the same boat.

Anything else to do? Are the remaining wicks valid?

I’m not sure; I took a break from dewicking this trope a few weeks ago since I got burned out. I’m not sure if anyone else has finished doing them, though.

I got us up to about 100 wicks, but the ones that I left I'm not sure what to do if, if any action is needed.

There’s still some wicks that need to be taken care of; I’ll try to finish them either today or tomorrow.

Also, what should be done about Haiku.Full House?

The Haiku in question was taken there by Berrenta at one point, but there was no discussion about it.

Can we please determine which wicks are okay to keep? This stagnated like it did because after a certain point I couldn't figure out what had to be deleted and what could be kept, and nobody has given an actual answer.

I definitely know that the Funny Moments and So Bad, It's Good subpage wicks need to go; I assume it’s the same for the Headscratchers subpage wicks. The So You Want To and Useful Notes page wicks likely need to be looked at as well.

I haven't looked for myself, but I'd imagine that any Headscratchers wicks are related to when Headscratchers was called It Just Bugs Me, since the name was changed due to complaining.

Cleaned out more of the remaining wicks. Are Flame Bait wicks allowed on Just for Fun pages? I assume they can be on Wild Mass Guessing and Most Triumphant Example pages as well, since those pages are more informal compared to other pages.

I saw an Internet Backdraft wick be removed on a WMG page, so I don't think they're allowed on WMG pages.

I’m not 100% sure if Flame Bait wicks are allowed on there. I’ll go to Ask The Tropers.

Ask The Tropers query led to Outdated Pages thread, and there is no Administrivia page that says whether Flame Bait can go on Just for Fun pages.

Bumping thread because I want to know if cleanup is the only thing left to do. If so, I'll give it a crack.
