I'm back with another forum game idea! I think this was already a game on here but I think it hasn't been active in a while. This forum game is similar to Ready, Aim, Fire and Behind the Masks as it consists of PMing the host. If you played Mafia or Clue when you were younger, the premise is similar.

General Rules

• There will be a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 20 participants.
• To join the game, you must fill out this sheet:
  • Name: (Can be your shorted username)
  • Role:(Only Useful for Roleplaying Section of this game. You pick any role you want and you get certain perks for that role.)
  • Gender:(Important in some places you're only allowed to go)
  • Hair Color: (A part of clues left by the murderer)
  • Clothing Color:(You can pick 2 clothing colors; Is the other part of clues left by the murderer.)
• A Murderer or Murderers will be handpicked or be randomly selected through this website or through random.org for each round.They have 12 hours to choose 1 or 2 players to kill by PMing the host. You must also choose a murder weapon (knife, rope, poison,etc.)or method of murder (drowning, pushed down the stairs,etc.) and a location of the murder.
• Roleplaying will be a feature in this game and is encouraged to do so. You don't have to roleplay if you don't' want to.
• Deceased Players cannot participate in Roleplay after the Voting or the Free Time Section is over and they are selected to be killed.

• There will 6 Rounds in total divided into these sections: ^note  Except for voting, these are all sections you can roleplay.
  • Free-Time: Start of the Round; You can do these actions:
    • Commit Suicide
    • Chat with Others
  • Investigation: A body has been discovered and you have to find clues around the body. Work together to find them. The Host will let you who founded which clue in the Discussion.
  • Discussion: Give your alibis and go over the clues to see whodunnit.
  • Voting: Vote for who fits best for the role of the murderer. PM the host in at least 12 hours or it does not count. The person with the most votes gets executed. Be careful that you don't execute an innocent and let the murderer get away with it!
• The murderer can tamper the evidence with one fake clue to frame the crime on someone else or as a suicide. Put some consideration to point out the dupe!
• Suicides don't have tampered evidence. Be wary if it isn't one.
• Roles are the only thing relevant in roleplay but certain perks can affect who the culprit is as some perks have characters only access a certain number of rooms.
• DOUBLE MURDER CLAUSE: If there are two victims in one round (including suicides), the next round must have only one victim. This means that committing suicide is unavailable for that round only.
  • Also on a similar note, there should be only two murderers selected for one round only per game.

Host Rules

• Do not give out who the murderer is in general, that will spoil the surprise.
  • Especially when an innocent is executed, do not reveal the real murderer. The same applies to the murderer in question.
• You allowed to pick the location for the next game but explain the rooms and which level they're on in detail, please.
  • Do not pick fictional locations like Hope's Peak Academy or Peach's Castle for example due to Pop Culture Osmosis.
• Please post as frequently as you receive all of the options in the allotted time limit. We don't like playing the waiting game.
• A host will not be elected to host again if they have a reputation of breaking these rules.

This first game will take place in a luxurious mansion with 2 levels just like in the original Clue! The first level has 2 parlor rooms on opposite sides of the house, a large dining/party room where the party takes place, the kitchen is next to the dining room where it is only accessible to certain people. The parlor room on the left side of the house is adjacent to the billiard room. The other parlor room is next to the library/study room. There is also a wine cellar outside. The second level has 8 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, and another study room. There is a master bedroom where the homeowner sleeps.

Now, let's the party begin!

I'm interested in joining, but I'm not sure what the "role" part of the sheet is for. Can you elaborate on it, please?

You can choose any role you like such as being a Chef or a Lawyer as long as they are realistic. They are only relevant to roleplaying and the "Discussion" Section. They have perks that are selected by host every game that depend on which places they can go. I might revise the roles part of the rules in the future but this will do for now.
